Review: I, like many other users of OkCupid, was unable to access my account with no warning. I tried to login on their mobile website and on their app but I continue to get messages that their staff robot had a meltdown OR there is an internal error. They have no customer support!Desired Settlement: With a good explanation of why my account is deleted. I did nothing wrong.

Review: I made an account on okcupid.com two days ago. Yesterday as I was on my account, I clicked on my messages and it told me to sign in again. So I did, but then I got the message stating there is technical difficulties and to try again later. I went on their complaint website and other account users had the same problem and I also found out that okcupid.com discriminates against people and will delete your account for no reason and when you try to contact them to ask them what happened, they never contact you back.Desired Settlement: My desired outcome would be to okcupid.com to email me back, apologizing and to fix my account.

OK cupid is filled with online dating scammer. I stupidly fell for a scam from an member of OK cupid's online dating community and lost a significant amount of money (19040.00). There were multiple people involved in my scam. the scammers use US phone numbers, and they have scammers physically located in the US who are "finders" where they seek you out on the dating websites, meet you in person, learn person information about you to determine if you'd be a good candidate for the scam (e.g., single women over **, recovering from an illness, recently experienced a life changing event, etc). This is so scammers don't waste their time. In my case, a man that I met on OK cupid came to my house 4 times before and during the time I was being scammed. He impersonated an Army soldier (wore his Army uniform to my house each time he visited and I have since verified with army military police that he is not enlisted in the army). This man disappeared after I sent my money to the second scammer. Email IP addresses from my scammers came from the US, Nigeria and Singapore. These online scammers have a very sophisticated network of people working together. I've reported the scam to the [redacted], [redacted], [redacted] and local police. I reported the scammer to OK cupid as well. After being scammed, I continued to get contacted on OK cupid by other online scammers. I've reported more than 30 to 50 additional users that I've identified as scammers to OK cupid. I was able to identify these scammer by doing reverse [redacted] image searches and finding pictures and information on the real people whose pictures were stolen by these scammers. I reported each and everyone to OK Cupid and they were very inconsistent in their response in removing the scammers' profiles from the site. I've repeatedly ask that someone from OK cupid contact me to discuss. I have yet to hear from OK cupid. This is a serious issue and OK cupid is not doing enough to protect it's members from these scammers.

Review: I have been a member of okcupid for several years now. All of a sudden a photo of mine was removed. I was informed via email it contained nudity. Nowhere in the photo am I nude. I am dressed [redacted]. And that has nothing to do with nudity.

I reposted the image since it did not violate the photo rules.

These are the photo rules:

My account has since been deleted with no notification to me. Or compensation for the time it will take me to bring a new account to the same level as my old account.

Review: My account and profile have been deleted with absolutely no reason for doing so.

Review: I have not been able to log account for about a year and I get the same error - "We’re having technical difficulties, try again later". I tired to reset my password using my email and user name but the site still says I do not exist. I emailed them and no reply. They do not have a phone number to call. The number that is provided comes back to [redacted] and they say they can't help. Looks like they banned me for no apparent reason. Can someone ask what is was that I did? Apparently this is an ongoing issue with this company as they have an F rating at the Revdex.com because of these types of complaints.Desired Settlement: My ID [redacted]. Review: I was a member of the website OKCupid on several occasions. After a bad breakup I decided to try and get back out into dating and had finally met someone that I liked. Lo and behold, when I attempted to log on to make arrangements for a date with this person, I discovered that OKCupid had deleted my account for violations of their terms of service. However, I have not violated a single one of their rules and demand that I have my account reinstated immediately.Desired Settlement: I would like my account reinstated immediately along with an explanation of why I was wrongly banned from the site. An apology would be nice too.

Review: Okcupid debted my debt card for more than a month of dating service. I didn't sign up for more than a month of service.Desired Settlement: I need them to refund the amount they stole from me.

Review: On ** July 2013, I signed up for OkCupid and made a purchase to promote myself. Within 24 hours I was unable to log in to the website, I have emailed and tried contacting customer service to no avail. I have requested a deletion of my account due to customer service not replying to their customers. Along with the aforementioned complaints, I have read about this "business" doing this to many other people along with stealing identities. Being stationed overseas, I am limited on the websites I can access. I have already contacted my legal representatives seeing as if this situation cannot be resolved by the Revdex.com I will be seeking litigation in the very near future.Desired Settlement: I request a refund for my purchase as I was UNABLE to use it since my account was inaccessible after the purchase and I wish for my account to be terminated off OkCupid's servers. I do NOT want any association with this "business" if they cannot practice correctly.

Review: I have had an OKCupid account for about 1 1/2 years. I recently upgraded to the paid version in September. Since late October, I have been unable to access my account. It says, "Sorry, staff robot meltdown, try again later". I have researched this and have found this means I have been banned from OKCupid. I have no explaination. No warning this would happen.

I have attempted to contact OKCupid multiple times via phone and their email contact with no response from them.

I am now disputing their charge on my credit card.

I did not have any inappropriate content on mnreasonabley profile and did not violate the terms of service, .Desired Settlement: I am really pissed about this, the site makes you answer all these questions and then fill out a rather long profile, only to disable your account without notice its really bad practice. I would like an answer from the company as to why this occured, and if I did nothing wrong I would like my account reinstated, with an apology from their support staff!

Review: I have been unable to send any emails through the companies website. I have notified them on 5 occasions with no acknowledgment.

As this is the whole point of the site it is false advertising especially with no reason as to why I cannot send any messages.Desired Settlement: I would like full functionality given back to my account under the screename of [redacted].

Review: I've been trying to login to this site since Sept ** with no luck. They have not responded to my email request for help. I have read on a blog where they have banned people from using their site for no apparent reason.Desired Settlement: I just want to login to their site so I can use it.

Review: When trying to log in to the website, it reports an error that the site is down or my login information is incorrect. Using other online tools though, I can see that the site is up and running and I have checked and rechecked my login information. There many reports out on internet forums that OKcupid blocks your login if they've banned your account for some reason, but they don't tell you that they've banned your account, and I didn't violate any of the website's rules, so I can't imagine why I might have been banned. I queried their support site about 12 hours ago but so far have not received any response. From what I've read, the odds of a response are slim.Desired Settlement: I'd just like to find out why I was locked out and how I can resolve the issue and be allowed back on.
