I was looking for funds for my business and I had more offers then I could hope for , But when OneMain made me my offer I couldn't resistThey not only made the process as easy as possible for me , they also had an office I could go to and sit down and speak to one of there reps face to face and not on the computerYou see I'm old school and you earn my business when I can look you in the eyes and sign my contact rather then push a buttonSo thank you OneMain for the help in my time of need ð?? ð? ¼ To me it was a Star experience Thank you Coach Olando R***

Absolute Import & Domestic Auto RepairP.OBox 751North Bend, Wa98045RE: [redacted] Complaint ID # [redacted] We have reviewed Mr [redacted] 's billing/collection issues and in accordance to Wasingtonstate law (see attatched Customer Rights)On 5/13/16, Mr [redacted] was given a verbalrepair quote for his Nissan Versa of $100-$or more, depending on what wouldbe found during the initial repairMr [redacted] was then satisfied, agreed to the quote,understood that it may be more, and scheduled repairs on 5/16/16, but did not show.Mr [redacted] later called in to reschedule for 5/17/16.On 5/17/16, a few minutes after 3:30pm, Mr [redacted] was called and was notified thatan additional one hour labor time was necessary to get his vehicle to the satisfactoryspecifications per his requestTherefore, his repair bill less tax came to $Mr[redacted] claims that he did not authorize the additional labor time, when in fact, he didon 5/13/and again on 5/17/While on the phone with Mr [redacted] , he had inquiredfor an additional estimate on a complete catalytic converter/muffler assemblyAnestimate of $was given to compare with his $repairsMr [redacted] was giventhe consideration of applying the $towards the $should he later decide ongoing that directionMr [redacted] was satisfied with that optionMr [redacted] was askedfor a pick up time on 5/18/16, but didn't know or have an exact time.5/18/16, Mr [redacted] arrived at Absolute Auto to pick up his vehicle at which time hebecame verbally abusive and threatening to our staff, so much so that we had to callthe police in order to safe guard our employees and place of business.At Absolute Import Auto we try to make every attempt to keep our customers happywith the products and services we provideWe would be happy to issue a credit of$towards any future repairs Mr [redacted] may require or $credit towardsthe estamated repairs of $(see attatched repair invoice)

I came to OneMain for a loan when I was in a tight spot with some debt Although the interest rates are ridiculous, I did get the loan, which I continue to make monthly payments on My only (nonstop) gripe with this institution is I CANNOT MAKE ANY ADDITIONAL PAYMENTS TO PRINCIPAL IF AND WHEN I WANT TO, and that's just awful! When I've inquired about this, I've simply gotten "pay on the due date to avoid extra interest." WELL I ALSO WANT TO PAY DOWN MY PRINCIPAL AND GET RID OF THIS [redacted] LOAN ALREADY! They really should add a feature to their website with a button that allows you to make payments to JUST PRINCIPAL when you want, like other lenders have, or simply give you the option to do so

I have been working on building my credit back upI thought I would try and get a loan through One MainI admit that it was on a whim that I stopped in to a local office while waiting to give someone a rideHad I done my homework, I wouldn't have never stepped foot in the officeMy boyfriend and I have been looking for a second vehicleI have the higher income but he has the better credit scoreI applied for the loan on my own and was told that everything looked good except that they would need what was referred to as "hard collateral"In other words, depending on what my current vehicle (which is financed) was worth, they would consider paying it off, using it as collateral and adding it to the loanWe opted to add boyfriend to the application and they were pleased to announce that the need for "hard collateral" had been removedGreat!!! We were happily informed by not only the rep that I started out with, but by the manager or owner of that specific location, that everything looked good and all we needed was the proof of income, tax return, W-2's etcNo problemOnce they received that information, they would submit it to underwriting and we would be given a number to work withThe very worst thing that could happen at that point was to find out that it wasn't a number we could work with, i.e; if the loan they would offer wouldn't be big enough to be able to get a newer vehicle with a warranty so I didn't end up with a piece of junkIf the number was too low, all I had to do was simply say no thank you we would be no worse off than we startedAgain, be reminded, we were cheerfully informed that things looked greatFast forward to the next dayFaxed over all of the income verification and off it went to underwritingI didn't hear anything towards the end of the work day, I calledThe rep I had spoken with was unavailableThe person who answered the phone looked up my info and informed me that I had been denied and wanted to know if there was anything else he could help me withI thought there had been some kind of mistake given everything we were told yesterdayI politely thanked him for the info and hung upPlease understand, being denied during the credit building process isn't a shock at allIt's the lip service we had received the day before...."everything looks greatNo problemJust get us the income verification and we're goodOnly have to wait for a number"We were told by different peopleNot once were we told that the application could still be deniedNot even so much as a heads upSo again, it's not the denialIts not having someone be forthright enough to say "Hey, although it looks fine at the moment, there's still a chance this could be denied." At least we would have been preparedWe were even told to go check out a few cars and get the price and VIN numbers on them to send to underwriting so we could start working with some figuresThat, in no way, is stating that we could still be denied I know this story is not nearly as tragic as some of the horrible experiences with this company that I have read hereAnd I am truly sorry for what my fellow consumers have experienced as a result of working with One MainI am just thankful that I have dodged a bullet here I went as far as calling back and actually speaking with the rep I originally placed my application withNow mind you, apparently it's legal to just ask "can I run your credit" and not have to sign anythingI didn't know that but I'm just letting you know that's what was doneI did say it was okay, but didn't realize I didn't have to sign anythingJust an FYIWhen she got on the phone, she said "I understand my coworker let you know the results of your applicationDid you have any further questions?" I guess I don't really know what else she was supposed to sayI was so upset about her and the owner/slash manager not being forthright with us that I actually just said no thank you and hung up I'm sure any financial institution would just say that I'm just upset because we were deniedWell, no one wants to hear that of courseI'm upset because after being told it all looked good, we were never informed that we could still be deniedIt was like withholding the truth and allowing us to get our hopes up After doing a lot more research today, I'm glad it turned out the way it didDo you research on this company!!!!!!

Like many before me in these reviews, I was lead to believe that I was going to be helpedI was simply looking to consolidate debt, clear some items off my credit so I could obtain a career for a government agency In February 2016, I got laid off from the oil fieldsI spent the last five years utilizing that career to build my credit and did soI achieved a credit score from a in the short yearsafter I got laid off, I missed ONE payment to a credit card company [redacted] they closed my card down and sent me to collectionsI lost points on my credit needless to say, I was very disappointedso I began to look around for help, to clear some of my current debts, and clear the rest of what was left on my credit from past issuesAfter being denied several times for a loan to help me consolidateSpringleaf stated they would do everything they could to help me.....well it only took them less than hrs to tell me they cant help me because of the debt that I currently seek help to eliminate....seems like a catch to meSo, I will pass the word around NOT to use this companyThey are fraudsThank you springleaf for becoming part of the problem (hard credit inquiry), and not the resolution that I'd hoped for

I was approved for a secure loan with this company with the condition that my wife remove get name from the title of our car, or add her name to the loanWe explained that my wife's income is not verifiable because she is newly self employedThey said those were or only options for getting the loan so we added my wife to the applicationWhen they sent the application back to their verification department it was changed to denied because according to them MY WIFE'S INOME COULD NOT BE VERIFIED!!?!! We were then told if we get her named removed from the car title we could get the loanSooooooo, we paid for my wife's name to be removed from the title only to be told that I didn't qualify for the loan based on my income EVEN THOUGH IT WAS THE EXACT SAME INCOME AS IT WAS WHEN THEY FIRST APPROVED METhe company wouldn't even reimburse us the cost of having her name removed from the car title SHADY, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ONE MAIN FINANCIAL!!!!!

I was pre-approved for a $5,loanI added income from a 2nd job as well and easily met the requirements for the loanI got approved for more than I neededI was instantly contacted and the guy "Bryant" said everything looked good and questioned a couple of things on my report that I am sure jumped outNothing that SHOULD stop me from getting the amount espwith collateralHe said he would call back at 1pm (this was 8:30am)I had to call THEM at 3pm because I heard nothingHe then asked me if I had proof of income for my 2nd contracting job, I had said just stubs from paypal where I receive income, but he said that wouldnt be enough....to me, I think its more than enough if its seen monthly on statements coming to me from the company I stated it was fromAfter an entire day of their underwriters verifying my income looking at DTI and other items he said he could not approve me at this timeWhat was the point of you approving me to begin with then? Pulling my credit report for no reason....I heard good things about this companyThe loan I INITIALLY qualified for I could pay off easily in 2-months but instead ill take my business elsewhereStep your game up OneMainThis was my first experience with you and may as well be the lastSuch a waste of my timeThis was the [redacted] , NC branch

I was very pleased at how I was treated by local branch at clarksburg wv XXXXX on [redacted] with Sr Personal Loan Specialist Michelle [redacted] S [redacted] Service was quick and exceeded my expections at how fast I could receive the money I had applied for I will spread the word and return to OneMain should the need arise for additional funds

I had a horrible experience with them today and for the last week the quality of there customer service [redacted] talked to a manager today and he was no betterdifferent people advised me of different guidelines They are not on the same pageThe worst company I ever dealt withI mean horrible

I have been a customer since I hit a tough spot shortly after renewing my note this JuneMedical bills, in addition to my car completely dying beyond repair forcing me to purchase another oneI wasn't planning on any of that and then my washing machine flooded my home, and remember I had health issues crop up that had to be taken care of and that care is ongoingIn addition to this, the anniversary of my husband going missing and being found dead is approaching and thus I am struggling emotionally and mentally In July when the person called about my payment I tried to explain what happened and she threatened me with courtI was able to get a small loan to cover July but refuse to try to borrow anymore money to pay for AugustMy job gives me a yearly bonus which is due in the fallAs soon as I get it, I'll get caught up In the meantime, I cannot handle being threatened with courtI am a survivor of [redacted] and that woman's threats were very effective in sending me further into despairI made a small payment earlier this month and will make another as soon as I get paid I owe you a lot of money and have never disputed my debt, however the hateful way I was treated and the threat of court are something I cannot handleAnd truthfully, that should never be allowed to treat a customer in such a manner I may be behind right now, but I will catch up, unless I die, and I've insurance to cover that and your employee in Clovis treated me such that she wouldn't mind if I were dead as long as the debt was paid Once I get this paid off, I'll never borrow from this company again and I will strongly discourage anyone I know seeking a loan to not go to One Main or any of its affiliates

This company is very unprofessionalI was contacted by onemain to see if I wanted a loan increase and after a month I had a family emergency and decided that I would get the increased they offeredI spoke to a woman named Jessica R [redacted] who was nice at firstThey RAN my credit and told me I qualified for an 8,dollar loan if I wanted one, I only needed a 1,This establishment is open till 5:30pm and I get out at from work but the establishment is fairly close byJessica told me we could do all the paperwork on that day and have it the next dayLater on the day she called me and said that she couldn't do it on that day because my appointment at 4:was too close to closing timeShe informed I could go on Monday and my loan will be in my bank account by Tuesday when I needed itOn Monday I wrote her an email with some information she needed and heard nothing back from herI decided to call because I needed the loan the next dayJessica was not at work that dayI asked to speak to a manager to share my experienceI informed him that I was supposed to do it Friday but she reschedule for Monday, that I called her and expressed how important it was and she guaranteed that she will be reaching out to me Monday and I will have everything I needed on Tuesday The manager had a tone, he said he has been working there for years and that he could help meI told him about Jessica and how she promised to help me and that everything was going to be ready TuesdayHe told me she had an emergency that everyone has emergency and she wasn't inThen he continue to tell me that they couldn't approve my loanLong story short they offer me an increase of a loan, they ran my credit and told me that I could get up to 8,to later say I couldn'tThe service in this establishment is horrible, the manager has NO empathy and makes you feel like you horrible when you approach himHe makes excuses for things the establishment does wrong instead of saying sorry I will make sure to address thisI would not recommend this establishment to anyoneThey ran my credit, said I was approved for a loan increase to later say noThis company promises many things that they couldn't accomplish

I found the process for a loan to be very easy. The employees here are very pleasant, efficient, and made me feel like I was a valuable customer. I started the process online and received a call within minutes of my application. Great place if you want an efficient loan from start to finish!

I am very happy with my experience with OneMain. The representatives were very knowledgeable and pleasant. I would recommend OneMain to anyone who is looking for a loan. Thank you OneMain for your help.

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I have already told them I have year warranty on building panels which would be voided if painted I did not make up prices it is for replacing the building panels that were damaged I have all estimates from building manufacture .Also for rest roping lot which was never finishedMy facility was perfectly clean before the very sloppy Sealcoat job You can pay the manufacture directly I want my facility the way it was before the exceptionally sloppy work Regards, [redacted] ***

My October statement showed an outstanding balance of $which included principle and interest On October 17, I paid $ days later I receive an email saying my statement was ready I downloaded that statement and it shows that I have a payment due of $ I called One Main and I was then told that I owed $ The language from the statement says "Though you have paid more on your loan than scheduled by your loan agreement at this time, your loan agreement requires that you make payments each month Your loan is interest bearing with interest accruing daily on the outstanding principle balance UNTIL YOU REPAY IT...." The one lady said to me - we can break that $down into payments - REALLY? Why would I want to do that? Clearly my intent was to pay the loan off when I paid the balance of $- which anyone looking at my account would have realized - seriously why else would I pay that much? Had I not called OneMain would have kept changing me interest on a non existent principal balance

Fast approval and the personnel and staff were friendly and thorough through the entire process! Money was deposited within hours after submitting request!
