One Main Financial is a very unprofessional businessMy recent experience was not what I expected and I hope no one else makes this mistakeI received a pre-approval notice in the mail stating I was approved for $5,Pre-approval means to me that a company has completed a "soft" inquiry of your credit report and decided to offer a loanI was told that those pre-approval notices are mailed out to everyone to get people to applyThat is not marketing that is a SCAM!!!!!! So of course I applied and after dealing with a loan rep that failed to explain the next steps or even ask to run my credit, I was deniedNo reason was given and I wasn't even offered another option for a lower loan amountI believe this company gets incentives just to run people's creditPeople please do your homework on this company before falling for their scams!!!!

I recently received an offer in the mail from one main financialThe people in the store did not authorize their letterThey stated it was sent to everyone and had to be approvedI already have an acct open with them and in the past months I've had it I've only paid on my interest never once has my totL decreasedThe lady who didn't know what she was doing, she had to keep running back and forth to find answers told me she would call me and let me knowI ended up reaching out to her to find answersTheShe proceeded to "sympathize" with me but because I advised her that I would pay off my loan with them since they didn't honor their own letters I would take my business elsewhereShe stated "I don't want to hear it" very dissatisfied in customer service and the company as a whole

It was an overall positive experienceThe process was speedy and we were able to do a lot over the phone and web so the in-person part took minimal time
My only criticism would be that my representative, although very nice, was a bit pushy for me to buy the optional ancillary insuranceI felt I had to accept it in order to proceed with the loan processing, but luckily, I was able to cancel a few days afterward without a problem

One Financial is a great place to get your loanOur sit down with the woman who helped us fill out the paperwork was great! I would recommend going to One Main for anybody short on cash or just generally in need of a fast loan for the obstacles that come up in life! Very high interest rate! If I did not absolutely need the money for funeral expenses, I would not have ever considered this loan But this is the type of company that feeds upon the needs of those in a desperate situation
