I'm writing this complaint about One Main Financial because they solicited me to get a loan with themWhen I went online to get advice LendingTree also sent me to them for people with low credit scores trying to get out of debtI received a message that I could get a personal loan for $for years $a monthThis would help me tremendously! It would've paid off my high interest loans and payment was half of what I'm paying now which I'm current on all my bills except for a few medical billsAnyhow they did a credit report which hurt my credit and denied meNothing they could do because I have renewed one of my high interest loans too many times! This was the purpose for this loanI believe One Main Financial is doing advertising According to Lending Tree they help people with low credit scores but they DO NOT! They just made mine worse I contacted Green Tree and informed them not to recommend One Main and when I put my information in this time it didn't show any specificsThe first time it showed $years $and $year $may not be exactAll it said the 2nd time was to contact themAny way the damage is done and I'm very disappointed!

I have been a customer for almost a year without missing a single paymentI loggto my account, and I happened to see the advertisement encouraging me to apply for another loanI applied for the loan and was approved ($13,400)I was unsure about whether or not I should take the loanHowever, I called the office this morning, which is unfortunately in [redacted] FL (XXX-XXX-XXXX) to get the details but this guy Peter picked up the phone and right away made me feel uncomfortable like I was bothering him He asked for my name (Not nice) and started the conversation by saying that I have applied before! That is has nothing to do with the fact that I am an excellent customer, thinking of giving you my businessThis is without even greeting me or saying good morningI hang up the phone and will not take the loanIf you do not want my business, pleasedon't keep advertising and encouraging me to apply for the loanI do not want to call a place to feel like I am inconvenience

Working with One Main was a very easy process Everyone is very professional

I'm very happy with the service. Marion IL office were very nice and helpful.

In answer to your letter, the car was unsafe to driveAs sated in letter he wrote you there was two parties pre owner and new owner Mr [redacted] It had been 1/to yrs since we had worked on w drive? We ask the owner of it was a week check up? They didn't tell use and tired to avoid the question[redacted]

These people at the onemain office [redacted] ***, indianapolis, is is a piece of workI called in on dec 4th asked for manager John and he was unavailable spoke with at person name Justin and advised him of my financial issue for the month of dec Justin then stated its ok we will defer your payment for the month of dec and to resume payment Jan I get an email today 1/5/about my paymentCalled the office to speak with manager John for him to tell me I didnt make a payment for last month DecI explained to him the conversation me a justin had and the payment was deferred for decJohn stated with a deferrment there is still a portion of the payment that is still dueAs a customer Justin should had stated thatNot one time did he say anything about a deferement payment stillJohn then stated then I must have understoodNO it was never told to me first the startJustin stated to just start up payment again jan The staff is rudeAs I stated I can only do what the employee allows me to doI dont work thereAnd what justin stated dont worry about the payment for dec its deferred....rude [redacted] people

I appreciate One Main for helping out in my time of needThe process was very easy, and the people there very niceThe payments are low enough where I can handle them I am grateful for them

They email me and said I was approve for a loan then they turn around say I was not approve for the long I never could get a hold on them on the phoneThey just doing advertising

My contact were very courteous and detailed oriented It took awhile to fill out all the forms but I was pleased the results

I am so troubled with the loan I borrowed I pay per month on my loan and only goes into my principal Why did I ever agree to this loan I will never knowThe staff is wonderful

Wish I never got this loan. Paying back almost double.
