Thank you for reaching out to usAt Online City Tickets, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customer’s concernsIt should be noted that Online City Tickets is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets??"instead, we merely
facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. After our customer selected the event they were interested in, they proceeded to select the listing which they desiredThe listing our customer selected clearly stated, Section: GA PIT Row: PITThe corresponding map also reiterated General Admission PitAs our customer indicated, the tickets which they received on 5/25/mirrored the listing in addition to seat numbersGeneral Admission, or GA, is an industry-standard term that specifies a section which has no specific assigned seat or row and may require patrons to stand during the eventAs tickets are usually issued with a Section, Row, and Seat Number, in relation to General Admission tickets, the row and seat numbers are stated for organizational and inventory purposes.Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Online City Tickets is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellersSince our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both partiesThis means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy??"a standard throughout the industry and agreed to at the time of purchase.? Prior to receiving this claim we discussed this matter with our customer and offered a courtesy resolution, stepping outside of the agreed to terms; however, our customer declined this resolutionOur customer has since filed a dispute with their financial institution regarding this orderWe are unable to provide a resolution to this matter while this dispute remains open due to the nature of the dispute processWe encourage our customer to contact the institution with which the dispute was filed in relation to any questions they may have regarding its process or outcomeAs it currently stands, we consider this matter closed.Regards,Online City Tickets

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attentionWe take the customer experience seriously and appreciate the opportunity to address Ms***'s concernsWe should explain that OnlineCityTickets.com is an online exchange, which means we do not own or generate tickets--instead, we merely
facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellersThese sellers set their own prices based on their understanding of the current market climate, which means prices are not based on the original value, or face value--a fact clearly explained in our sales termsThe largest portion of any order goes to the seller, and OnlineCityTickets.com must instate a modest service charge to cover our operational costs, also clearly explained in our sales terms
OnlineCityTickets.com clearly labels itself as an independent company and a secondary marketplace that simply connects sellers of event tickets with customers looking to purchase those ticketsThe nature of our business is transparently described throughout our siteWe state the following on every page of our site "We are a resale marketplacePrices may exceed face valueThis site is not owned by any venue."
When Ms*** selected tickets and was taken to our checkout page, she was directed to review her itemized order breakdown, which clearly displayed the service and delivery fees, the price per ticket, and the total price in bolded textMs*** was then directed to review our terms and conditions--visible in a text box below this order total--and presented with the bolded message "All sales are final." At this point, she was also presented with the message "I agree to the sales terms and conditionsI have reviewed the Order Summary above," and a check box that she needed to click to continue with checkoutBelow this check-box, another message was displayed that, in Ms***'s case, read: "By clicking 'Place Order', your credit card will be charged $415.35, which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees." This notice was followed by a button labeled "Place Order." When Ms*** clicked this button, she signified her acknowledgement of the total price and these terms, and completed her order
Our sales policies, including our "all sales are final" policy, are disclosed throughout the purchase process--from a notice on every ticket page to a sales terms statement displayed at checkout with the message "All sales are finalAll prices are listed in US Dollars (USD)." Additionally, all sellers on our site are notified as soon as an order for their tickets is placed, which means we are unable to cancel orders or offer refunds Ms*** was made aware of this fact, and made an educated, conscious decision to purchase tickets from our siteIf Ms*** has any further questions or concerns, we welcome her to contact us
Thank you,
OnlineCityTickets

which means we do not own or generate tickets--instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellersThis fact is noted on every ticket and checkout page and at the top of our homepage with the statement: "We are a resale marketplacePrices may exceed face valueThis site is not owned by any venue."
Mr*** believed he was purchasing tickets directly from the *** CenterThe above disclaimer and our branding clearly show that we are not affiliated with any venue or other ticket marketplaceFurthermore, our checkout process gave him multiple opportunities to examine the full details of his order, including the service and delivery fee

Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because: The company never disclosed additional fees for the tickets they purchased for $I though I was paying $which included feesThis site is a scam using a website address that makes them seem like they are affiliated with the venue! I am contacting my attorney
Sincerely,
Kristin ***

Thank you for your responseAs we stated in our previous reply, our customer was notified that their estimated In-Hand Date was 8/15/This date is set by sellers as the latest expected available date and is often dependent upon the primary issuer of the tickets, with which we have no affiliationNevertheless, the date is provided as an estimation; as such, tickets often become available prior to the date listedThis order is one such case, as our customer’s tickets were delivered via email on 6/19/prior to their event on 8/19/As we have fully addressed our customer’s concerns and tickets have been delivered, we consider this matter closed.Regards,Online City Tickets

OnlineCityTickets clearly labels itself as an independent
company and a secondary marketplace that simply connects sellers of event
tickets with customers looking to purchase those ticketsThe nature of our
business is transparently described throughout our site.We assure *** *** that she was shown the same checkout page
that is clearly displayed to all our customersIn addition to clearly
displaying our disclaimer that “Ticket prices may exceed face value” on the
left side, this page presents a detailed order breakdown that includes all
fees, the price per ticket, and the total charge in bolded textThis total is
later restated directly above the “Place Order” button, and below a notice
explaining that “all sales are final.” As indicated in our previous response, customers
must explicitly agree to our terms and complete each part of the process;
failure to do so prevents the order from being completedThe moment the order
is put into our system the “all sales are final” policy goes into effectAs a
result, we must enforce this policy and cannot issue a full refundWe now
consider this matter resolved

In reference to her claim that she was not aware of the order total prior to purchase, it should be noted that this is inaccurateOur website is user-driven, and no order can be placed without the customer having been made aware of all order and pricing detailsWhen Ms[redacted] selected her tickets, she was taken to our checkout pageFrom there, she was directed to review the itemized order breakdown, which clearly displayed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total price in bold textMs[redacted] was required to agree to our terms and conditions??"visible in a text box below this order total??"and presented with the bold-text message “All sales are final.” At this point, Ms[redacted] was also presented with the message “I agree to the sales terms and conditions above,” and checked a box signifying her agreement with this statementDuring this process, Ms[redacted] saw an even more in-depth order summary that displayed the number and prices of her tickets, delivery and service fees, and the total charge.? Because customers are purchasing tickets owned by individual sellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both partiesThis means that we are unable to offer cancellations and must adhere to an "all sales are final" policy??"a standard throughout the industry.? Ms[redacted] expressed concerns regarding her [redacted] on Ice: Dare to Dream tickets she ordered on 1/16/Ms[redacted] placed two separate orders for this event, on one order and on the second, for a total of ticketsIt should be noted that these are two separate transactions from two separate listingsFor both of Ms[redacted] orders, the listing was classified as Zone SeatingThis type of listing clearly describes, “We guarantee that your tickets will be within the listed zone or section listed or one comparable.” This information was presented to Ms[redacted] on the ticket listing page and reiterated on the checkout page.? Since we operate on the secondary market, a number of sellers list on our siteAs such, Ms[redacted] separate orders were never assured to be listed by the same seller or in the same row within the given ZoneAdditionally, sellers on our site, per our sales terms agreed upon by Ms[redacted] upon placing both orders, have the right to fill orders with “comparable or upgraded tickets.” As a result, Ms[redacted] received upgraded tickets for both of her orders.? I am rejecting the claim because while I did go through the verification process the tickets received are NOT in accordance to stipulated seat assignment? The vendor asserts they "upgraded" seats BUT failed to acknowledge system initial processing leading up to exchange? I am simply requesting purchase protection under their guaranteed satisfaction clause, asking for full refund for un-used tickets.? Respectfully,?

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:? I was at the original venues site and when I went to cash out I must have hit an ad on the venue site that was designed to look like a integration of where to checkout for the Elton John concertI wouldn't have knowingly bought from a 3rd party siteI bought my tickets months in advance there is no reason for me to not buy from an exchange here where they purposely take advantage of consumersI simply believed that this site was an exchange for the venues "ticket sales", a site contracted to handle commerce for the purchases from venue (Much like PayPal acts for many services); there was no notice provided to me that I was being navigated away form the venue's siteIn terms of being available for communicationI spent over an hour waiting for a live chat professional on your site, and when I call your phone number [redacted] (Which isn't on their website I had to pull from the Revdex.com page) the automated system never gets anyone on the line no matter how many times I call and no matter what prompts I enterIf I hit it promptly hangs up on meNo wonder you don't have records of me contacting you, you've built a system that is nearly impossible to communicate with you. This whole transaction was falsely presented to me and this company's practices are deplorable, and I had to file a Revdex.com complaint to get a responseYou ought to be ashamed of yourselves, and find a way to make a living without trying to take advantage of people, and defraud them as they attempt to get tickets to a showTypically with this venue you can wait for email or go to the ticket center and pick them up, and I wasn't aware that option wouldn't be available to meThis site used marketing techniques that led me to believe I was shopping through the actual venue and they misrepresented themselves
Sincerely,

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:I did not place this order nor did my husband place this orderSimply because the email address matches the banks records is not a good reason this should not be deemed fraudulentThis company could have easily submitted a refund at the time of purchaseI like many customers of this company am being scammed by the regulations they get to dictate on no legal terms that "all sales are final" when indeed all sales should not be deemed final in certain circumstancesI don't understand what advantage the company thinks we have as a family of five to lie about placing an order we did not placeFurthermore the tickets when unused as confirmed by the venueThere were no services rendered to our family from the funds this company collectedThis matter could have easily been solved had the company refunded the money on 12/when we contacted them to report the fraudulent chargeThey are in it for the money and not the help customers and do good businessThis shouldn't be allowed by the Revdex.com or the lawThis is a tiny fine print situation where the email address matched the information entered on their website when our information was used to place an order we had no participation inThey should not be allowed to keep our money.?
Sincerely,

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because it does not address the continuing deception that we faced, which is still a problemIf Online City Tickets wants to run an honest? business, it should reveal the face value of the ticketsThe company claims it cannot do this because it is an "intermediary." That is baloneyIt could easily require sellers to disclose the face value
Sincerely,
