Thank you for reaching out to usAt Online City Tickets, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address Ms[redacted] concernsIt should be noted that Online City Tickets is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets??"instead, we merely facilitate
transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers.? As Ms[redacted] stated, she placed this order over the phone on 11/29/at 3:PM CSTAfter Ms[redacted] agreed to three tickets in Section: Lower Level Row: 21, she was asked if she agreed to Online City Tickets Sales Terms and Conditions and that she was aware that she may be paying above face value and that all sales are final to which she agreed.? The seller later informed us that Ms[redacted] tickets would be delivered via [redacted] SeatsInstructions on how to utilize this method of delivery were immediately sent, and her tickets were transferred to her on 11/29/at 5:PM CST.? As a secondary marketplace, we cannot guarantee the type of ticket a customer will receiveIn most cases, tickets will be delivered by the method designated in the ticket listingHowever, the type of ticket is typically dependent upon the primary issuer of the tickets, with which Online City Tickets has no affiliation, and therefore is outside of our purview.? [redacted] Seats is a form of paperless ticketing that allows the tickets to be transferred into the customer's [redacted] Seats account and is becoming increasingly more common in the industry.? It should also be noted that in addition to this current claim, Ms[redacted] has filed a dispute with her financial institution regarding this transactionDue to the nature of the dispute process, we are unable to provide a resolution to this matter while this dispute remains open, and encourage Ms[redacted] to contact her financial institution with any questions regarding its process or outcomeAt this time, we consider this matter closed.? Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: This is a totally unacceptable response.? I spoke with [redacted] at Online City? Tickets and he recited the same as the responseThey would not come to a resolution and this is not good business practice and charging a service charge of $190.20, for what reason?? The tickets that printed were in fact Ticketmaster tickets.? I have since read several reviews online and this company is very deceptive in its advertising and [redacted] made me feel like I was ignorant.? I was in the Travel Industry for years and hired companies in Mexico, Caribbean, Central America and Hawaii which included holding these companies to customer service expectations so that ? customers would book their vacations with our company vsthe competition.? Before that I was in the banking industry, customer service supervisor? This is not customer service and [redacted] was very rude.? I want this resubmitted and expect my refund of $or the choice of tickets for another event with better seats which ever is more

super easy,...will use them again

Received my tickets purchased oni
line

I bought 2 tickets to [redacted] for September 2nd. They sent me tickets for August 30th. When I called to get the dates changed, they told me it was my fault and wouldn't budge. I bought the tickets for $228 total when they were only worth $80 and with an obstructive view. This is a horrible operation!

So far so good. Wish I could have received actual tickets instead of email tickets.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:The way your site pops up and redirects customers to your webpage instead of the authorized venue is deceiving.  We assumed that the price we were being charged was the general price for that seat.  When I click on a "buy tickets" tab on a reputable webpage such as [redacted], I assume that I am being taken to the licensed authorized ticket sales website endorsed by the artist, management, and the venue.  Yes, your site does clearly say that tickets will be above face value, but I consider it extremely unfair business practice to charge nearly 5 times the face value, when the show isn't even sold out.  As far as the service fees go, they WERE NOT visible on the the final purchase page, and did not appear until AFTER the purchase was made and a conformation email was received with the actual total charged to the credit card, at which time we immediately phoned to argue.  Furthermore, customer service reps refused several times to give me the address of their business.  I don't know why the address is such a heavily guarded secret.  They gave me several toll free numbers to contact them at with my concerns, however, one Manager who claimed to be the supervising manager, stated he could not even locate my account with the account number and telephone number on file.  This was a blatant lie because when I called later that evening, the summary of the conversation I had with a different rep who had actually answered my call initially, but handed the call over to the supervisor (after putting me on a "brief" hold which lasted over eight minutes, when I asked him for the business address) was taken down in their notes.  I am completely outraged!  Every time I ask for their address I am put on hold for 8-12 minutes, and then told they are not at liberty to give that I formation , or the mysteriously gets disconnected.  Last but not least, I contacted the management at the [redacted] Arena where the event is taking place, who informed me that [redacted] is the only vendor licensed and authorized by the management to sell OR RESELL tickets to events at the [redacted] Arena.  They apologized and said the tickets are not valid.  I then called Onlinecitytickets again to convey this message asking for a refund and was treated very rudely, and told that the tickets are valid and that the management is only telling me otherwise because they don't make a profit from the ticket resale.  I stated again and again that the [redacted] Arena Management stated this ticket sale was not authorized or valid but got nowhere.  I do not feel that it is even ethically right to attempt to use these tickets which management has told me are not valid.  I want a full refund.  This business should be shut down!  They deceive, lie, and cheat their customers.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:Unfortunately, the information provided by the business is also inacurate. I will be filing a small claim court dispute, and a filing with the cosumer protection office of the state of Kentucky.
Sincerely,

facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers.Although our customer has stated they believed they were purchasing tickets through a primary marketplace, we would like to provide clarification. Our transparent website is completely user-driven, meaning all order information is either selected or input directly by customers. Our website’s design is completely different from those affiliated with any primary market and box office, as we clearly state on our website’s homepage, “We are a resale marketplace, not a box office or venue. Ticket prices may exceed face value. This site is not owned by [redacted] Kansas City.” This information is also reiterated multiple times throughout the purchase process.Once our customer selected the event they were interested in, [redacted] with [redacted], they navigated to the ticket listing page. The top of this page clearly notifies customers, “We are a resale marketplace. Prices may exceed face value. This site is not owned by any venue.” This message is also displayed on the top of every page throughout the checkout process. After customers select the ticket listing they desire, they are directed to the checkout page. Here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and price per ticket. Our customer was prompted to provide an email address and select a delivery method. After a delivery method is selected, since methods vary in price, a new order total is calculated. A complete itemized breakdown of our customer’s order including the price per ticket, all fees, and the total price of $312.86 was displayed in bold text on the left-hand side of the page. This information was fully disclosed before our customers are asked to enter any payment information. Below this order summary, our customers are notified in the Ticket Information portion of our site that, “We are a resale marketplace. We are not a box office or venue. This site is not owned by any venue. Price: Ticket prices may exceed face value.” Customers are then presented with our terms and conditions, including a bold message which clarifies, “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).”  Our customer was required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms. Customers are then prompted to select the "Review Order" button below these terms. Once selected, customers are taken to a review page which displayed their payment information, order summary and provided an additional itemized cost breakdown of their order. Our customer then proceeded to select "Confirm & Place Order", at which time their order was processed.Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Online City Tickets is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Online City Tickets, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer to address all of their concerns. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; nevertheless, we offered our customer a one-time courtesy offer in an attempt to reach an amicable resolution. However, our customer declined this offer. If our customer has any additional concerns pertaining to their order, we encourage them to contact our customer service department; at this time, we consider this matter closed.Regards,Online City Tickets

I keep thinking this has got to be too good to be true! We got tickets for a suite at the Staples centre - for two of us for under $100. Cannot wait! Tickets were instantly available for download as well. Really pleased!

There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. If the event is postponed, tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date.” Prior to placing their order, our customer was presented with our terms and conditions, including a bold message which clarifies, “All sales are final. Our customer then proceeded to select "Confirm & Place Order", at which time their order was processed. The estimated Ship Date provided is supplied by the seller on the purchase and is often dependent upon the primary market with which we have no affiliation. Nevertheless, tickets are often available prior to this estimated date. As such, our customer’s valid tickets were delivered on 7/5/2017 before their event on 7/23/2017. Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer and suggested a resolution should they no longer wish to attend the event. As such, we consider this matter closed and encourage our customer to contact our customer service department with any additional concerns regarding their order.Regards,Online City Tickets

Thank you for your response. As we stated in our previous reply, our customer was notified that their estimated In-Hand Date was 8/15/2017. This date is set by sellers as the latest expected available date and is often dependent upon the primary issuer of the tickets, with which we have no affiliation. Nevertheless, the date is provided as an estimation; as such, tickets often become available prior to the date listed. This order is one such case, as our customer’s tickets were delivered via email on 6/19/2017 prior to their event on 8/19/2017. As we have fully addressed our customer’s concerns and tickets have been delivered, we consider this matter closed.Regards,Online City Tickets

My experience went well I received my ticket when I said I would and so far so good.

Handling fees are excessive

The "handling" fee is exorbitant.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2014/12/08) */
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take the customer experience seriously and would like to take the time to address Ms.[redacted] concerns. We should explain that OnlineCityTickets.com is an online exchange, which...

means we do not own or generate tickets--instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers.
While we are sorry for Ms.[redacted] frustration with the delayed delivery of her Flash Seats tickets, we should note that tickets listed on our marketplace are often delivered directly from sellers, a process that occasionally results in minor delays. In this case, we reached out to the seller to expedite the delivery process, and Ms.[redacted] has since received her tickets. If she has any other questions, we welcome her to reach out to us.

great service
thanks
