facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers.As a secondary marketplace, Online City Tickets is not affiliated with any artist or venue; rather, we act as an intermediary between customers and ticket holders. And yet while we do not own or generate tickets, we do process hundreds of successful orders each day—and each order is given the full protection of our Guarantee. This guarantee promises that any tickets customers purchase on our marketplace will be valid for entry to their event—and that if tickets are deemed invalid, the customer will receive a full refund. In our measures to maintain this standard, we carefully screen each seller to ensure that their listings are valid and distributed properly. However, because the hundreds of sellers on our network process thousands of orders each day, mistakes do occur in some extremely rare cases. After investigating this matter, we have determined that this order was one such case. Since concluding this investigation, we provided a resolution to our customer via email detailing the matter. facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. This fact is noted on every ticket and checkout page and at the top of our homepage with the statement: "We are a resale marketplace. Prices may exceed face value. This site is not owned by any venue."
Ms [redacted] has made a serious claim and we have conducted a thorough investigation that included speaking to Ms. [redacted] and the seller and providing each of them the opportunity to provide evidence. In this case, Ms. [redacted] has not provided evidence and the seller was able to obtain proof that these tickets were never scanned at the venue. This means that there is no way that Ms. [redacted] presented the venue to scan the tickets at the time of the event and was denied entry. If the tickets were presented for entry, they would have been designated as "attempted" to be scanned and declined.
While it is rare that customers claim tickets are invalid without actually presenting them to the venue, it does occur and when we learn that is the case, we deny the refund but continue to reach out to the customer. In this case, despite the evidence definitively establishing that Ms. [redacted] never attempted to use her tickets, we contacted her to resolve the matter but we were unsuccessful. If Ms. [redacted] would like to speak about this further, we encourage her to reach out to us and ask to speak to a member of our management team.

When our customer selected the event they were interested in for Jack Johnson, they navigated to the ticket listing page that displayed a variety of seat locations. Once our customer selected two tickets in Section: F Row: Z, they were shown the notation, “Note: Full View Reserved Seating - Paperless Zone Seating.” The ticket type pertaining to “Paperless tickets” is becoming increasingly common in the ticketing industry as this type of ticket does not require physical tickets to be issued; rather, the tickets are associated with the card used to purchase them from the primary market and do not exist in printed form. The attendant is able to swipe the card at the gate and provide the customer with a small print out of the seat location. As ticket type is often dependent upon the primary issuer of the ticket, with which Online City Tickets has no affiliation, such matters pertaining to ticket stock are outside of our purview. As such, Online City Tickets does not guarantee ticket type. After our customer selected this listing, the notation pertaining to Paperless tickets was reiterated on the Checkout page in the order summary prior to entering any payment information.As a secondary marketplace, Online City Tickets is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not generate tickets as a primary box office; rather, we act as an intermediary between fans and ticket holders. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. We are having trouble understanding Ms. [redacted] concerns with the tickets as she has not yet downloaded the tickets to view. We have tried to reach out to Ms. [redacted] to discuss her concerns but we have not been able to reach her. We encourage her to call us to discuss her order.

The processing fee for the tickets is incredibly over priced! If this was not a gift for my son to see his favorite artist & experience with his dad as a Father's Day gift I would never consider purchasing something with such a sketchy rate hike! It's truly taking advantage of the fans & is blatant greed!

I purchased tickets for a concert and was charge twice the retail price (my bad for agreeing to that) but I was also charge a huge fee per ticket which was not disclosed until AFTER I put in my credit card information. The site lists a "100% Money Back Guarantee" but then when you delve further, it offers no such promise. I tried to chat online with the agent at the company (twice after they disconnected the chat the firs time) and they refused to refund my money, even AFTER I pointed out that the row they tried to sell me tickets DOESN'T EVEN EXIST on the arena map.

Do NOT use this company under any means. I'm still trying to resolve my case and get a refund. They are misleading and customer service is horrendous.

Very disappointed that it was not made clear that these tickets are resale from people that had already purchased the tickets, so that they could over double the sale price.
You have to read all of the fine print to find this out, it should be made very clear when you go into your site.

Online City Tickets is an online resale marketplace, which means that we do not own or generate any tickets – instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Directly on our website it states, “We are a resale marketplace, not a box office or venue. Ticket prices may exceed face value. This site is not owned by any venue or box office.”
Because customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must enforce an “all sales are final” policy – a standard throughout the industry. Our sales policies, including out “all sales are final” policy, are disclosed throughout the purchase process – from a notice on every ticket page to a sales terms statement displayed at checkout with the message, “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).”
In addition to this current claim, Ms. [redacted] has filed a dispute with her financial institution regarding this transaction. We have addressed this, and encourage Ms. [redacted] to follow up with her financial institution regarding any further questions or concerns about the order. This site is not owned by any venue.”When Ms. [redacted] selected tickets and was taken to our checkout page, they were directed to review their itemized order breakdown, which clearly displayed all fees, the price per ticket, and the total price in bolded text on the left side of the screen. Ms. [redacted] was then directed to review our terms and conditions—visible in a text box below this order total—and presented with the bolded message “All sales are final.” At this point, Ms. [redacted] was also presented with the message “I agree to the sales terms and conditions above,” and a check box that needed to be selected in order to continue with checkout. After checking the box and clicking “Review Order”  they are taken to the checkout page which features an even more in-depth order summary that again displays the number and prices of their tickets, delivery and service fees, and the total charge.Our sales policies, including our “all sales are final” policy, are disclosed throughout the purchase process—from a notice on every ticket page to a sales terms statement displayed at checkout with the message “All sales are final.
