I ordered tickets, gave payment info, received email with tickets to print out. Event is in a few months, so I can't write a complete review yet. However, I believe that the tickets are genuine.

Revdex.com:

It was easy to order tickets through Online City Tickets. Got them within 24 hrs.

Great transaction and fast delivery.

Thank you for reaching out to us. At Online City Tickets, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customer’s concerns. It should be noted that Online City Tickets is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely...

facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Directly on our website it states, “We are a resale marketplace, not a box office or venue. Ticket prices may exceed face value. This site is not owned by any venue or box office.”Once our customer selected the event they were interested in, Sound of Music, they navigated to the ticket listing page. The top of this page clearly notifies customers, “We are a resale marketplace. Prices may exceed face value. This site is not owned by any venue.” This message is also displayed on the top of every page throughout the checkout process. After customers select the ticket listing they desire, they are directed to the checkout page. Here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and price per ticket. Our customer was prompted to provide an email address and select a delivery method. After a delivery method is selected, since methods vary in price, a new order total is calculated. A complete itemized breakdown of our customer’s order including the price per ticket, all fees, and the total price of $789.95 was displayed in bold text on the left-hand side of the page. This information was fully disclosed before our customers are asked to enter any payment information. Below this order summary, our customers are notified in the Ticket Information portion of our site that, “We are a resale marketplace. We are not a box office or venue. This site is not owned by any venue. Price: Ticket prices may exceed face value.” Customers are then presented with our terms and conditions, including a bold message which clarifies, “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).” Our customer was required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms and the statement, “I agree to the sales terms and conditions listed above. I understand that I am not purchasing directly from the venue box office and that tickets may be above face value.” For every order place on our site the customer’s order total is reiterated below this in large, bold text. Customers are then prompted to select the "Review Order" button below these terms. Once selected, customers are taken to a review page which displayed their payment information, order summary and provided an additional itemized cost breakdown of their order. Our customer then proceeded to select "Confirm & Place Order", at which time their order was processed.Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Online City Tickets is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Online City Tickets, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. Our customer has expressed concerns regarding their order, to which we would like to address. Our customer confirmed their purchase on 9/14/2017 for four tickets to Sound of Music that took place on 3/3/2018. They were notified via email that their tickets were expected to be emailed to them on 2/24/2018. We were later notified that the tickets our customer purchased for in Section: Tier 1 Row: A-J were no longer available by the seller. We immediately contacted our customer on 3/1/2018, at which time they accepted upgraded replacement tickets in Section: Orchestra Right Row: XX with a courtesy resolution to the matter as well.Prior to receiving this claim, Online City Tickets has been in contact with our customer and offered a resolution to the matter in the interest of customer service. Our customer has accepted this as an amicable resolution; as such, we consider this matter resolved. If our customer has any additional concerns relating to their order, we welcome them to contact our customer service department.Regards,Online City Tickets

facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Directly on our website it states “We are a resale marketplace, not a box office or venue. Ticket prices may exceed face value. This sit is not owned by Palace Theatre Albany.” When Ms. [redacted] viewed ticket for the A Christmas Carol event on 11/30, she was notified that she could expect to receive her tickets on 11/28. Once Ms. [redacted] selected tickets and navigated to our checkout page, she was directed to review her itemized order breakdown, which clearly displayed all fees, the price per ticket, and the total price in bold text prior to entering any payment information. This page also reiterated the expected In-Hand Date of 11/28. Ms. [redacted] was required to agree to our terms and conditions—visible in a text box—and presented with the message in bold “All sales are final.” At this point, Ms. [redacted] was also presented with the message “I agree to the sales terms and conditions listed above,” and a check box that needed to be selected in order to continue with checkout. Our sales policies, including our “all sales are final” policy, are disclosed throughout the purchase process and displayed at checkout with the message “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).” Though Ms. [redacted] is requesting a refund, our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers and we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. Prior to receiving this complaint, Ms. [redacted] filed a dispute with her financial institution regarding this transaction.Due to the nature of the dispute process, we are unable to provide a resolution to this matter while this dispute remains open, and encourage Ms. [redacted] to contact her financial institution with any questions regarding its process or outcome. Ms. [redacted] valid tickets were delivered to her on 11/28, the expected In-Hand Date, for her event on 11/30, as such; we consider this matter closed. Regards, Online City Tickets

Helvetica, sans-serif, "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-weight: inherit; font-style: inherit; border: 1pt none windowtext;">Thank you for contacting us regarding this matter. We appreciate the opportunity to address Ms. [redacted] concerns. It should be noted that Online City Tickets is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets —instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers.

Though Ms[redacted] claims that our position on the secondary market is stated in small print; this should be noted as inaccurate. Our branding is intentionally different from those of any other site and adequately states that we have no affiliation with any venue. Directly on our website it states, “We are a resale marketplace, not a box office or venue. Ticket prices may exceed face value. This site is not owned by Consol Energy Center.”

In regard to Ms. [redacted] concerns with the price printed on her tickets, or face value, it should be noted that since we operate as a secondary marketplace thatserves as an intermediary between sellers and customers all ticket prices are set by the sellers, not Online City Tickets. The price is set by individual sellers based on their individual assessments of various factors including customer demand. This fact is explained clearly throughout the purchase process, from a notice on every ticket listing and checkout page stating, "We are an independent resale marketplace. Ticket prices may exceed face value."

Since customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.

As such, we consider this matter closed and encourage Ms[redacted] to contact our customer service with any additional concerns.

Online City Tickets

For 3 tickets I let my granddaughter purchase that was suppose to be $50 a piece they charge 7.50 shipping and 45.00 service charge. This company is a rip off!

No problems.

The process for ordering tickets online went well. The tickets were delivered in time for the show. I would have liked the option to receive & print "paper" tickets, to save money on the postage.

First time dealing with them. Quick and thorough service.

facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Our customer has stated that they were not notified the tickets were classified as limited view; however, this is inaccurate. When our customer navigated to our site, she selected the event she was interested in, [redacted] on 2/25/2017. She then continued to the ticket listing page. The listing our customer then selected stated, “Section: Orchestra Right Row: F Notes: Limited view. Side view.” After selecting this listing, our customer continued to the checkout page. After a delivery method is selected, since methods vary in price, a new order total is calculated. A complete itemized breakdown of our customer’s order including the price per ticket, all fees, and the total price of $639.10 was displayed in bold text on the left-hand side of the page. This information was fully disclosed before our customers are asked to enter any payment information. This also reiterated the seating location, including the notation of a limited and side view. Customers are then presented with our terms and conditions, including a bold message which clarifies, “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).” Our customer was required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms. Customers are then prompted to select the "Review Order" button below these terms. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. The seller on this purchase listed the tickets properly. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. Our customer placed their order on 1/4/2017 and immediately received their valid tickets prior to their event which took place on 2/25/2017. These valid tickets note "LV" for Limited View, just as the seller on the purchase stated in the listing. Our customer later contacted us on 3/1/2017 regarding this matter. At this time, we clarified that all information regarding the location of the tickets was adequately disclosed prior to purchase and listed according to the venue. On 3/15/2017 we received a dispute from our customer’s financial institution. We addressed this, and the dispute was ultimately ruled in our favor. If our customer has any further questions regarding this dispute, we encourage them to reach out to the financial institution with which it was filed. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed.Regards,Online City Tickets

Complaint: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:
Unfortunately, the information provided by the business is also inacurate. I will be filing a small claim court dispute, and a filing with the cosumer protection office of the state of Kentucky.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

I purchased two tickets to see [redacted] at [redacted] Wantaugh NY. I received the tickets with someone else's name on them and am not sure I can even use them. I paid $659.75 for two tickets and the price on the tickets are 65.50 ea.
which is an extreme difference in price. It has been impossible to contact online city tickets, I have tried the phone number provided ( it's a machine) you cannot get through to any person. The email they suggest you use (support@[redacted].com) is not valid I always get "mail delivery failure". So now I have over spent almost 700.00 on tickets that I'm not sure if I can even use. Online city Tickets is a complete scam. They should not be permitted to continue operating and ripping the public off.

Just the $250 mark up on each ticket is so offensive. I just need to find another service to get tickets.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/02/09) */
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take the customer experience seriously and would like to take the time to address Ms. [redacted] concerns. We should explain that OnlineCityTickets.com is an online resale marketplace,...

which means we do not own or generate tickets--instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. This fact is noted on every checkout page and at the top of our homepage with the statement: "We are a resale marketplace. Prices may exceed face value. This site is not owned by any venue."
We understand that Ms. [redacted] ordered tickets to see [redacted] on February 3. This concert was later postponed, and as of this response has not yet been rescheduled (the new date is marked TBD). Because of this, Ms. [redacted] has asked that OnlineCityTickets refund her order. However, because sellers on our site list their own tickets and are notified as soon as an order for their tickets is placed, we are unable to cancel orders or provide exchanges. We can provide refunds only in certain situations, such as when an event is cancelled and not rescheduled. As the Refund Policy transparently described in our sales terms states: "All sales are final. A full refund of the purchase price, excluding shipping charges, will be given for cancelled events."
Because the artist and venue are still treating this as a postponed event, we are unable to provide Ms. [redacted] requested refund. If the event is ultimately rescheduled, we guarantee that Ms. [redacted] tickets will still be valid for entry for the new date. If, however, the event is deemed cancelled at a later date, we will refund her order minus the delivery charge. In the meantime, if Ms. [redacted] has any other questions or concerns, we welcome her to contact us.
Thank you,
OnlineCityTickets
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/02/10) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept the response of Online city Tickets because they can't say when this concert will happen. They are holding up my money but dosn't have any idea when this concert will happen. I've lost money taking that day off work also preparing myself for that date. My anniversary is over and I'm no longer interested in this concert. They have false info on their website that your money is 100% money back guaranteed.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2015/02/17) */
Ms. [redacted] concert has been rescheduled for March 2, 2015. We assure Ms. [redacted] that the tickets she originally purchased will still be valid for this date. If, however, she is unable to attend this new date, she has the right to resell her tickets. While we regret Ms. [redacted] frustration, we must reiterate that our Money-Back Guarantee promises that we provide refunds only in certain situations, such as when an event is cancelled and not rescheduled. This policy is clearly stated in our sales terms and does not present false information. And so, while we are unable to issue a refund, we hope that Ms. [redacted] can attend her event. We consider this matter closed.
Thank you,
OnlineCityTickets.com

I wanted to see [redacted] but missed the original sale of tickets. In looking for tickets online, Online City had the best tickets @ the best price. Very quick delivery of the online tickets for download. Easy transaction, would work with Online City again.
