Review: My husband signed up for the free trail and got the first two months supply. He was called by the company as a "check-in," in April/May time frame before the next shipment, and he cancelled his account. We moved in May, and we assumed the account was cancelled. I discovered additional charges for June-September, and we never received the products. I called [redacted] to cancel again, and request a refund for products we didn't receive. They only issued a refund for September and August, and not for June and July. That's $157.88 for products we never received. They are claiming it was sent to our new address, but since we cancelled the account, I don't know how they would have this information. Bottom line, we never received the product, and therefore should not be charged for it. We are not dishonest people!Desired Settlement: Since he is not impressed with the product, and it is the reason why we cancelled, we would like our money back.

Response:

Unfortunately I also was one that fell for this group's fraudulent tactics. I should have been more alert to this and known it was a scam.

I am so glad I saw the Revdex.com report. I have written to them to cancel any and all future orders, and if they do not, I will take legal action.

+1

This company offered a "free trial" of their weight loss supplement Garcinia Cambogia for a two month period. They stated you were supposed to cancel your future order within 15 days if you were not satisfied with the product. I contacted the company to ask a question, and the customer service rep. extended my cancellation date for me. At no time during that conversation was I told that I would have to pay any money. When I called to cancel the future order (by the correct date) because I was having serious side effects, the recording on the phone told me I had to pay $36.00 but I could keep the unopened bottle. I had a choice to press 1 to agree, or press 2 for another option. I finally was able to press 0 to speak with an agent. When I refused to pay this money and asked to speak to a manager I was denied. I was told she could reduce the rate to $18.00 and I needed to ship the unopened product back. Since I only paid $4.95 for the initial shipping fee I knew this was not the correct fee, and I refused to pay this as well. I offered to pay the fee on my own. This was denied. I then stated I felt this was a scam and I was going to register a complaint with the Revdex.com. Magically the fee disappeared and I could keep the unopened bottle.

When I received the cancellation email, there was a very threatening statement at the bottom which said "We handle all chargeback's, disputes, retrieval requests and reversals as potential cases of fraudulent use of the product offer and/or theft of product. In cases where the company has provided a product and it has been verified that the customer has received a product and/or refused to returned product, whether or not the customer has used the product in any way, possible actions taken by the company may include filing a complaint with the Internet Crimes Bureau and/or local authorities, or reporting the incident to the appropriate authorities in the state of the customer to investigate theft of product and possible mail fraud which is a Federal Crime"..Steer clear of this company! If you want to purchase the product, find another reputable local health food store to deal with.

Review: I ordered a sample of there Garcini Cambogia xt and there cleanse it said in small print to cancel there product after 14 day of witch you receive the product. 5 days after I have got there product I called the number and canceled the recurring charge it. I was charged on my account 78.94 for the xt and 59.52 for the cleanse. I called them and asked why I was charged I have called and had this canceled I did not give them the ok to charge my bank that money. fist off they couldn't find my account I had to find the box that they shipped me with the number on it after that they had told me that I never canceled after the 14 days. I told them no I canceled so this wouldn't happen.the guy I talked to was no help.so now I have $95 in over draft charges and $138.46 in product that I did not want or gave them the ok to charge my account. I can return the product but now im stuck with $95 in over draft charges. the scammed me. they didn't have my account and they said that I didn't cancel there product.but after I said I was going to turn them in they conveniently canceled my product after they already charged me.Desired Settlement: I want my money back and I want the $95 in over draft charges they cased me to have.

Review: We had signed up for this product online. After receiving the product we realized that we did not want to use the product. We phoned and cancelled the account. They continue to send unwanted products and bill our credit card. When we call back to complain, the message says that our account has been cancelled yet we continue to receive the unwanted product and they continue to bill our credit card. I have gotten so frustrated that I cancelled my credit card today.Desired Settlement: Although I have given them hundreds of dollars for products that we have never used, I am looking for a refund of the moneys charged to our credit card since we have cancelled the account amounting to $133,00 CAN charged to my card in September and October.

Review: Review: Optimal Health advertises their products on a free trial basis (picture showing 3 bottles) with just a shipping fee charge. Many people rave about this product and its effectiveness. The ad and success stories enticed me and I ordered the product. While filling out shipping and credit details there was no information visible on their cancellation policy. Once submitted they sent a confirmation email. The first product (Garcinia X2 bottles) arrived and in all the information they sent (not much) there was no mention of a cancellation or their policy but it did say that a third bottle would be sent before 60 days so that I could continue for the full 90 days to get the best results losing between 20 – 50 lbs without doing anything else. There was a reminder to join the e-mail notifications to learn about extra health tips. It advised that if any purchases were made that the credit card listing would be AfricanMangoXT.

At week 4, my credit card statement arrived with a charge of $102 CDN from OHP. At first I thought it was the Garcinia company I ordered the pills from but since it clearly stated on the information package it would list AfricanMangoXT I went looking on the internet only to find out it was the Garcinia company. I called my OHP and asked about the charge on my credit card. The lady asked if I read the terms and conditions when I ordered, I did but I guess I missed the charge of $74 USD since everything else said FREE with shipping. The lady told me what I received (Garnicia and natural cleanse) I advised I didn’t received the natural cleanse but did received 2 bottles of the Garnicia pills and waiting to receive my third bottle as the information package advised I would. The lady on the phone stated that she had no idea where I read that there would be a third bottle sent as that is not part of their promotion and that she would put the natural cleanse in the mail. I still have the colorful sheet advising me of the third bottle for the 90 days. She offered me many different discounts to stay with the product, I declined them all and asked for my credit card charge to be reversed. The lady advised me she could not do that due to the terms and conditions. She gave me two cancellation numbers. I asked why 2, she said that is the way it worked. I strongly advise anyone considering placing a "trial offer" with Optimal Health to reconsider as the FREE trail plus shipping will cost you $102 CDN and it doesn’t even work. I lost 1 lb in 4 weeks and I took the Krill Oil pills the health information told me to take and did the planks every night instead of crunches also like the health tips stated. You can buy a similar product from the drugstore for $15.Desired Settlement: Full refund on my credit card

Review: I purchased the $4.99 "trial" however was charged the full amount of $78.94. I was billed this two months in a row. When I called the company I was told I had been shipped the product (Which I never received) because I was on the auto delivery (which I never signed up for). I asked for a refund and was told that because I had cancelled prior to asking for the refund and because the product had already been noted to be received (which I never received) they would send me another shipment. When I asked why I couldn't just be refunded I was told the same information over again, even though I told them that I had canceled because I did not want the product and had not signed up for auto delivery.Desired Settlement: I just want the $78.94 returned to my debit card and for them to stop putting people on the auto delivery if they aren't interested.

Review: I received a special offer for this product telling me I won a contest and this product was free for the first 60 days and the only thing I had to pay was one time fee of $4.95 and had a chance to try Optimal at a one time fee of $.95 which I paid on 2/18/2014. Just happen to check checking account to pay Excel energy and saw two unauthorized charges. One charge for Optimal [redacted] at $59.52 and another charge of $78.94 for optimal.

When I received the delivery 2/22/2014 there was nothing in the box no kind of invoice telling me I had to pay additional money. (After all this was a contest I won and had the opportunity to try this amazing product for greatly discounted price.

I am low income senior and these transaction have depleted my checking account. I have numerous disabilities and if my Dr. would not have been telling me to loose weight I would not have tried this offer.

This was false advertisement, I did not receive anything about the fees only a free product for small fee.Desired Settlement: I want my money back as soon as possible. My heating bill needs to be paid. I need my money back as soon as possible and I will send back what they sent me (if they will send the shipping and handling and WAIVE restocking fee Jen told me they charge when I spoke to her today.

Review: I saw an ad for Garcinia Cambogia - XT - xtreme weight loss supplement. The reason I decided to order the FREE TRIAL $4.95 for shipping - was ONLY BECAUSE it was associated with Dr. Mehmet Oz. I watch his show - I've been a member of his studio audience and I have the utmost respect and trust for ALL he endorses. According to the advertisement - there was 14 days to return if not satisfied. Within that time frame, I called to cancel as the product simply DOES NOT WORK BUT more importantly - I researched it and further asked the Dr. Oz staff if he did, indeed endorse this. I was given a RESOUNDING NO!!!! When my bank account was charged in December AND January for $78.95 I called AGAIN to make sure it was cancelled. I then called the company and was told that the 2 bottles I received in the trial were $78.95 EACH and I would be billed accordingly since, apparently, they never "received the first cancellation call on automated service". So basically, I am out almost $160.00!! When I argued with them I was told I would ONLY be credited for JANUARY and ONLY 50% less 9.99 shipping and handling to return the UNOPENED BOTTLE of pills because, apparently, they "can't go back to December to refund the other $78.95". So basically, I am being credited a WHOPPING $39.41 out of the ENTIRE TOTAL! I am FURIOUS! NOT ONLY about the money but mainly about the FALSE ADVERTISING AND USE OF DR. MEHMET OZ'S REPUTABLE AND RESPECTED NAME!Desired Settlement: I would like a FULL REFUND as I am NOT SATISFIED with their UNETHICAL PRACTICES and also because the product is GARBAGE.

Review: This company advertises a 14 day free trial, but does not disclose that they are signing you up for a full price product purchase, or what the price is for that purchase except for small fine print when you input your credit card for the shipping. The initial confirmation order for my trial indicated that I would be charged 4.95 for shipment of each product. Nowhere in the package or the confirmation email does it reference any membership or a requirement to cancel within the 14 day trial. The 14 day trial also begins as soon as you input your order, not from when you receive the product. I placed the original order on 04/22. On 05/07 I received an email confirming my new shipment and providing me with the instructions to cancel. I immediately went online and cancelled my order. The next day 05/08, I called to confirm that my order was cancelled and that I would not be assessed the 78.94 for one product and 59.52 for another. On 05/11 my card was charged these fees totaling 138.46. I then called them back, explained that I cancelled online as soon as I saw the charges as well as calling on 05/08. This is when they advised me that I accepted the charges by not canceling within the 14 days, which I received no confirmation of the requirement within any of my order confirmations. They said that they were not required to credit me anything, but would offer me a 50% discount of $69.23 as a customer service gesture. I have looked through all of the written material provided to me from this company, none of it references this period. I feel that they tricked me into putting my credit card in so that they could collect money on the basis of a free trial. The charges on my credit card do not even match the information they provided on their email for what the charges were supposed to say and they make sure to not provide you with any information until your supposed trial is over to ensure that you are trapped in the timeframe that they had you agree to unknowingly on the order.Desired Settlement: I would like my additional 50% refunded and notification requirements placed on this company that they provide transparent information on the shipment as well as the confirmation emails of the terms they have placed on your order. All other online products state these clearly. I would also like a requirement that they send an enrollment email at least the day prior to the 14 day trial to ensure that patrons are advised of these terms. I would also like their name placed in your system.

Review: Dr. ordered no herbal supplements to be taken. The first order received in March is unopened. The company charged my bank account for $70.95 on 4/7/14. Today I called to cancel & request return authorization for product when it's received. The person at this company stated that she would cancel future orders, effective today, but that they would not refund the charge of 4/7/14. I feel that this is unfair to the consumer, especially when I told her the reason for requesting the refund. She maintained her position. I expressed my displeasure with this action and hung up. I would greatly appreciate anything that Revdex.com might be able to do to assist me in getting my money refunded. I intend to refuse the shipment when it arrives. This is a lot of money for something I cannot use.Desired Settlement: refund of $70.95 for product that cannot be used

Review: Optimal Health advertises their products on a free trial basis with just a shipping fee charge. Their ad pulled me in and I thought I would try it for such a low price. While filling out shipping and credit details there was no information visible on their cancellation policy. Once submitted they sent a confirmation email. My shipping information was incorrect so I called them. At this time the woman on the phone said she would extend my cancellation date. This was the first I had heard about it and never would have known if I had not called. The first product (Garcinia) arrived and in all the information they sent (not much) there was no mention of a cancellation or their policy. I specifically looked because now I knew I had to cancel. After one week (a week prior to the date the woman gave me on the phone) I called to cancel. The natural cleanse had not arrived at this point but I had already been charged shipping. The rep I spoke with said if I cancelled I would not receive the cleanse. He then gave me a cancellation date which was in a few weeks time. I received the natural cleanse and cancelled prior to the date I was given. My credit card statement arrived and I was charged $100 CDN on the date I called to cancel the first time. When I called back to discuss this I was told there was nothing I could do as they had a legal binding contract. I could not return my unused products, nor would they return my money. I asked to speak with a manager and he said there was none. When I asked him to go back and review my previous calls (apparently they are recorded) to confirm what I told him and that I did not agree to any charge on my card, he completely dismissed this. I strongly advise anyone considering placing a "trial offer" with Optimal Health to reconsider as once they have your card number they will charge you way more than the product is worth (you can buy it from the drugstore for $15) prior to your cancellation date (if they even give you that information).Desired Settlement: Full refund on my credit card.

Review: We ordered a trial bottle of Natural Cleanse plus on 8/10 for $4.95. After receiving this and further studying the product we decided not to use it. We felt we were out $4.95, and though all was done. Our next credit card bill reflected the charge.A month later when reviewing the credit card bill, I spotted a $59.52 charge, that I knew nothing about. It had similar but not identical info to the first charge.Credit card company directed me to call the number and ask for a credit, which I did. The customer service person told me that when we ordered the trial bottle we agreed to cancel within 14 days if we didn't want the product to avoid further charges. We were never aware of this, and looking back through correspondence, we cannot find this information. Although they have cancelled us from further shipments or payments they claim we are liable for these charges.Desired Settlement: We would like them to refund/credit the $59.52 charge, and apologize for deceitful business practices.

Review: I was charged over $350.00 from this company and I did not receive anymore then the "free trial" I think this is a extremely priced. When I phoned them the first time they said that they would give me a 75% discount and gave me a partial refund. Two weeks later I got another charge on my Visa Card. I phoned again and it took me 20mins to explain that I wanted a full refund and too take me off of their list. I hope that I have finally got through to them.

I do not recommend that anyone get involved with this company no matter how much you want to lose weight.Desired Settlement: I would like my full refund and to not receive anymore products or information from this particular company.

Review: Of course I found this product called Garcinia Cambogia XT on the Internet. Was suppose to have such high reviews from Dr. Oz and other famous celebrities. I did some searching cause I wasn't going to pay the outrageous price that they were advertising this product for online. I found a site where you could order a *Trial* of this product. They said the trial cost was .95 cents, so I thought it's worth a shot for that price and remind you, there were NO terms and conditions that you had to read before you ordered this product. I received this product called *Natural Cleanse* along with the Garcinia Camogia, which will be a separate complaint. First off, when I received this product, I opened the box and there was NO invoice in the box at all. All that was included in the box was more of there product advertisements. I looked at my checking account and saw there was a charge for .95 cents on 9/16.13. There is also an International fee on my account for .03 cents. According to the box that this item came in, it is from Georgia. Now why I ask, is there an International fee?? So, on 9/30/13, I see that there is a debit from my account for $59.52. WHY? This product was advertised as a Trial product for .95 cents!! I went to my bank to disbuit this and the manager told me that I had to try to contact the company myself before they could help me. I have called, called and called and all I get it a recording to press 0 to talk to a customer service person. No customer service person EVER answers the phone to talk to. I know they can not charge me for any more product as my bank immediatley cancelled my debit card due to this. I need help please! I want ALL OF MY MONEY BACK! This is FRAUD!!Desired Settlement: I want my money back in the amount of $60.50

Review: The company advertised a free trial of Garcinia Cambogia (shipping and handling fee of $4.95 only). The company has since enrolled me in receiving additional product at $78.34 per bottle of 60 Capsules of Garcinia Cambogia XT. I did not agree to further shipments. First I tried handling it through the web address they give for customer service. When I entered my information, it said to call the toll free number for assistance. So, I called to explain I am not interested in receiving more product and that I wish to return the products they sent and billed me (without my permission). At that time, the man on the phone said he would cancel my enrollment, but could discount the product by 70%, if I continued. I told him I did NOT wish to continue receiving product. After several times of the man repeating my cancellation confirmation # (SEVERAL times), I think I finally got it. I told him I wanted to return the product they sent me for a full refund. He said it could not be returned. I told him I felt they were deceptive and I would be contacting the Revdex.com. At that time, he said he could partially refund my money. Once again, I stated I wanted a full refund, as I did not order it. I expressed that I had been "scammed". He asked me if the product was unopened. I told him it is unopened. He asked the return address from the package I received. I told him and he said that is not the address to send/return it. He said he would email me the address to return it (I had him repeat my e-mail address to be sure he had it correct.) I have not received an e-mail with the address to return. Today, sure enough, ANOTHER bottle of the product has arrived (different return address). They have billed me twice for $78.34. Not only do I want my money back, but I do not want others to be roped into this scam.

Please advise. Thank you!Desired Settlement: Along with a refund, I wish this company to stop their deceptive practices.

Review: I cancelled my auto-shipments (and, I thought, payments) back in September, since something in the pills made me feel ill. My husband didnt realize this, and as the checking account owner, wasnt aware that I thought I had completely cancelled my account. I was not aware of the continued payments or the products received, as my husband put them in a cabinet for me when they were delivered. Since I discovered that my cancellation had not apparently been honored, I wanted to return the products I have received, and receive a FULL refund of payments received. I requested an address where I can send the products, but the Customer Service Rep told me over the phone that even if I returned ALL the (unopened) products I received, I would only get a refund for the two bottles most recently sent. Desired Settlement: I am happy to send all the unopened bottles the of product back to the address I was given, as long as I receive a full refund of all funds expended on those bottles,

Review: I registered for a free trial of their product and paid the shipping and handling of $4.95 on 11/11/13. When ordering the "free" trial online there was nothing stating that I would be automatically enrolled in monthly auto-billing. After reviewing my recent credit card statement, I noticed that I had been charged $78.94 on 11/29/13 and $78.83 on 12/30/13 for an automatic billing. I still have not received any of the product other than the initial trial amount. Therefore, I have been charged for two months of product that I did not want and have not received. I was not aware that I would be charged such amount and there was nothing stating this when I ordered the free trial. When I called their customer service about reported the issue, they told me that the automatic monthly billing was in the "terms and conditions" that I agreed to. When I stating that I have no even received any of the product for two months I was billed, the customer service representative said "hello, I can't hear you" and then hung up. Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the $78.94 that was charged on 11/29/13 and the $78.83 that was charged on 12/30/13. I was not aware that I would be automatically billed and I also still have not received any of the product that I have been billed for. I do not want this product and am seeking a refund.

Review: ordered product and paid for it. called the a month ago to cancel order and they still took money from my bank account. Called them at [redacted]. and all I got from them was a hard time. I explained to them that I cancelled out a month ago and asked why money was taken out of my bank. They were so rude that I hung up. A few minutes later they called back and continued the rudeness. All I asked that the money they took out be put back into my bank. By them taking it out left me a negative balance. I told them my husband is on other phone to the attorney generals office in re to this. they got all nice and polite and said a full refund will be back into your account by Tuesday. Here it is Tuesday and nothing refunded.Desired Settlement: A full refund put back into my bank and no further contact from this company.

September 11, 2015Ms [redacted]: File No. 10803038Dear Ms[redacted],I am in receipt of the complaint mentioned above and would offer the following inresponse.Ms [redacted] did sign up for both a Garcinia Cambogia Trial and Natural Cleanse Plus trial. She signed up for the trial on 7/12/15. I assume her complaint is related to the charges of $2.95, $78.94 and $59.52. Ms [redacted] received a full 60 day supply of the Garcinia Cambogia XT as well as a 30 day supply of the Natural Cleanse Plus when she signed up for the trial. On 8/02/15, Ms [redacted] contacted us and was given an extension of her trial until 9/02/15. She was reminded of the terms and conditions agreed upon and understood as stated in the notes below. Review: Natural Health advertises a free 14 day trial. That trial apparently starts on the day of order not from date product was received. Also, 14 days does not mean calendar days, they count the date of order as the first day and the two weeks later is actually 13 days. Example, order on Wednesday the 1st--trial ends on Tuesday the 13th, not Wednesday the 14th. Misleading advertising not in any documentation I ever saw. When I called on what I consider the 14th day, they offered only a 35% refund then upped it to a 50% refund for the apparent ongoing program I unknowingly signed up for and to cancel future shipments after much complaining. They also do not have it written anywhere that this is a continuous program you are agreeing to. They falsely mislead customers not to mention the outrageous fees they charge for their products beyond the free trial. You can purchase the same products for 90% less at a health food store!Desired Settlement: I want my total charges refunded!!!!!!! The other 50% is $44.99.They do not advertise truthfully nor explain their counting policies accurately.
