Review: I fell for a diet pill scam.

I thought I took advantage of a free diet pill and paid for postage only, or so I thought. After speaking to a representative, I realized the terms and conditions stated that after 14 days, my credit card would be billed additional charges. Today was day 15.

I feel that their advertising misleads the consumer into paying for a product, when it appears as though we are getting a free trial. In addition, the product does not work. They have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. However, the company requires a full return of the product in order to refund any money. How can the consumer know if they are happy with the product if they do not TRY the product?

Again, this company and their aliases are perpetrating one of the biggest misrepresentations in advertising out there. They are taking advantage of people who, like myself, become fooled into thinking we can lose weight with a pill.Desired Settlement: $78.94. No further charges. My credit card information deleted from their records. I would like to be removed from their mailing list. I would like this

Review: On Sunday May 10th, I stupidly ordered this Garcinia-Cambogia product on the internet. It was supposed to be a free trial ($4.95 shipping) which I never received. That same day I replied to the confirmation cancelling the order. Turns out I would be gone for 6 months beginning on 5/12.

Since I am away from home, I did not know that they were still charging my account. I did not even receive any product until JULY! which is why I thought it was cancelled. My husband called me to say a package had arrived.

On 7/21 I was told I couldn't get a full refund, but they would refund $78.94 and $27.63. This is better than nothing.

To this day, there is still no refund. They are telling me to take it up with my bank. I am in a situation that I have no access to the bank and limited access to my phone so this is very frustrating!Desired Settlement: All I want is all of my money back $78.94 x 3 months, or at LEAST the $78.94 + $27.63 they promised me. After all the outright lies however, I think that a FULL refund would be best.

Review: Orrdered free trial of three weight loss products: Cancellec on 2/21/2015. Contacted [redacted] 14 times to ensure I would not be charged. Contacted Cleanse, and other Lite gracing a and African mango txt to cancel. Spoke to Venisaa on 2/21. She tried to reduce price and became very rude. Called other numbers on Credit card statement and both contacts acknowledged items were cancelled. Phone numbers listed are: 8[redacted] also called [redacted] to further ensure items were cancelled. I continue to receive products and get charged. I have a claim number with [redacted] received on 3/6/2015.

Review: Ordered product on 10/31/2014. Product was never shipped. Ups tracking number [redacted] shows label created. No other updates. Told to call back in a week if we did not receive product. Calked back on 11/09/2014. Created another order. Checking shipping label [redacted] showed same issue. Label created but never sent. Today is 12/1/2014 and both labels show same status. During all these calls they tried to placate me by offering a 75% discount. Didn't do much good as never was shipped. Review: I signed up for a trial of Garcina Gambogia and was not informed I was signing up for an auto shipment plan. I returned the trial products, but was still changed $56.95 for a shipment that was never sent out. I received a call from the company on 1/31/14 saying they would be refunding the fees to the credit card I used, it would take 5-7 days. Four weeks later I called about the refund & was told it would take 6-8weeks. After I did not receive my refund I called again and was told a message was sent to the billing office & I would be receiving my refund in 3-5 days. I have made several more calls, I have been told there was a technical issue & I would receive a call from the billing department; I have been told it was escalated to a supervisor & I would receive a call back & when I call again today I was told the billing office was being notified & I should have my refund in 3-5 days. It has been 3 1/2 months, still no refund. I just want my money backDesired Settlement: I just want my money back

Review: The advertising was very misleading and suggested that a 60 day trial was free for Garcinia Combogia, minus shipping and handling. Deep within the terms and conditions it states that if you don't cancel within 14 days, you will be billed $78.94. Who reads 2 pages of terms and conditions to buy a vitamin supplement? Absolutely ridiculous. This has been a less than satisfactory experience and I have canceled my membership. I will deter anyone looking at buying this supplement and be sure to make it known that it's a scam!Desired Settlement: Refund my credit card in the amount of $78.94 and remove me from all future sales calls and mail.

Review: I answered an offer for a free trial of the Garcinia Cambrosia products on or about 9-11-15. I received the product several days later, but due to being ill at the time was unable to try the products. On 9-25-15 I discovered a charge for $59.52 on my checking account for this company. I Attempted to contact them on 9-26-15, but their return call was apparently an automated dialer as no one responded when I answered.

I then contacted them again this morning, 9-28-15, and I was told the following:

1. The 14 day trial period started the day it was ordered regardless of when the product was received

2. I was offered first 30% discount, then a 50% discount, and finally a 75% discount rather than a full refund, all of which I declined as I just wanted my money refunded.

3. I could have my money refunded but I would have to return the product (supposedly a Free Trial???) before that could happen, it would take up to 15 days after they received my return, and I would have to pay a $9.95 restock fee (again I say, a Free Trial!)

I said then just give me the 75% refund, I'll keep the product but cancel the account; the customer service rep said oh no, ma'am- I offered you the 30, 50, and 75% discounts but you declined so you will have to return the product and wait for your refund.

4. I advised her that wasn't acceptable as this unauthorized charge had overdrawn my account and she advised "No, we didn't overdraw your account ma'am"Desired Settlement: I want to receive a full refund of the $59.52 and independent verification that this account has been canceled. I also feel that this company is guilty of very predatory and deceitful practices and should be held to account.

I will most likely have either an overdraft fee or stop payment fee in regard to this transaction-I realize this is the cost of my poor decision to accept this 'Free Trial', but again feel this company should be held accountable for these actions as I feel fairly certain I am not the only consumer who has been treated this way.

Review: I ordered a sample of Garcinia Cambogia XT and Natural Cleanse in November 2014, order [redacted] with an order total of $4.95 and $0.95. Today this company charged my bank account an additional $140.00 for this product, after another charge in December for $140.00 that I just found. I did not authorize this charge, nor did I approve any additional product be shipped to me. As I called and talked with [redacted] 30 minutes ago, he stated that he could stop any future charges but would not refund the $140 dollars charged to my bank account today, or the $140.00 charged in December, as I had 14 days to cancel any other future shipments, and I did not take advantage of that. There is nothing in any of my communications with this company showing that they would continue to charge my bank account for this product.....and they would charge my account forever if I hadn't called them out on it today. I told him that he had better start looking for a new job. There is nothing in any of the information that I have showing that this company has the right to further charge my bank account after the initial sample shipment, without my approval. This is a scam, period !Desired Settlement: Companies like Optimal Health Products LLC should not be allowed to operate, and should be shut down. This is a crime against all consumers. Review: I had order a free sample of garcinia cambogia diet pills the add from the dr.oz web site said free all I had to do was pay the shipping and handling. so I did one week later my account was charged 79.31 which I never agreed to. I called the bank to dispute this they gave me the number on the charge which was to florida. I called and told them what had happened, they informed me that I had signed up for a membership, which I never did. I told the guy this and he rudely replied that I agreed to the membership when I signed up for the free trail. I told him I was trying the free sample and he snarkly replied that it wasn't free that it was a 14 day free trail. I said ok whatever I am with in my 14 days I want my money back and I will send the product back. He just kept repeating that I agreed to the terms and conditions. that's when I told him I was never told I was signing up for a membership nor was the option available. finally he agreed to refund 30% but I still don't agree I never signed up for a membership and I called to cancel in the 14 day period.Desired Settlement: I would like all my money back plus I will ship the product back. I want them to have to state that you are signing up for a membership and that this is what it will cost.

Review: My wife answered an ad for a product called Garcinia Cambogia. She was to receive the product for cost of shipping and handling. The product arrived and she barely had time to start trying it and we were charged $78.94 and $2.37 which I believe is the shipping charge. I contacted the company and they refused to refund the $78.93 saying it was not cancelled in a timely enough fashion. The product arrived 7-10 days ago and the phone call was made today (11 Feb 2014). I believe the cancellation was made in a timely enough fashion and believe the company's advertising practices are unscrupulous.Desired Settlement: Refund of $78.94

I did this and did not receive a cancellation number and my account was charged $78.94. I called and complained and was given a refund of $27.63. I am very angry with this company because I am still being charged $51.31 for a product I did not like. I contacted the number on bank statement when I noticed charges. It was disconnected. So I went to my bank and filed a dispute of charges. My bank followed up and sent me letter stating I should contact merchant. So I did, and they offered to refund me 50% IF I STAYED ON PRIGRAM!! I declined ask for total refund since I was scammed!! They said I'm sorry but you had 14 days to cancel. This is the first time I had heard about 14 days to call and cancel or be charged astronomical amount.

Please help me receive full refund. I am on fixed income and in no way financially able to pay $138.46 a month.

I have complete unopened bottles I will gladly return. Package was opened not the products.

Review: I responded to an ad to try the product as a buy one get one free offer for a charge of $4.95, or so I thought. After the box arrived, I called to confirm that I had no further obligation to purchase future products. (I read a product review online after ordering this item and was warned to do this.) I was told that after 14 days trial period, my credit card would indeed be charged for the next shipment in my subscription. I immediately stated that I wanted to cancel my subscription and wanted to return the unopened product. After more promotion on the part of the agent, I was given a code to confirm that my subscription was indeed cancelled. Later I called back to speak to a different operator and the person on the other line would not speak to me other than to give the hours of operation of the company. These calls did not leave me convinced that a future additional charge would not appear on my credit card.Desired Settlement: I did not see any information in the advertisement stating that I would be committed to future charges. I would like to see this advertisement changed so that someone else does not make the same mistake that I made.

Review: on june 20 2015 I ordered 3 bottles of alphazxt @ 29.98 and was to receive 2 free. That would have been 89.94. When I checked my bank online bank statement I found that 149.98 had been taken out for the alpha zxt so I immediately called their customer service and spoke to raymond suzuki or so he said his name was. he appoligized for the confusion and offered to let me have the three bottles for 59.96. I thought this was a good deal and explisitedly ask him if I would still get the buy 3 get 2 free deal and he said yes. so in a day or 2 I saw where I had been refunded for 3 bottles of the product and never thoug anything more about it until they arrived and I only got 2 bottles. I contacted them by email to their customer service and received an answer back saying that I had been refunded for three bottles and only paid for 2 so that was all I would get. I work and today sun. july 12 is the 1st opportunity I have has to persue the matter further so I called today and got ahold of a woman who told me the same thing that I just explaind and I told her the mans name that I placed the order with and that he had told me that I would get the buy 3 get 2 deal for the 59.96 because of their mistake in billing my card the 149.98. I ask her to go back to the recorded phone call and listen to it and she said something about having to have a supervisors permissiion to do that and I ask if there wasnt one there and she said yes but they were busy. I then ask to talk to one and she hung up on me. I called back and got the same person and she told me that I could return the product to them and pay the shipping myself and that they would need to receive it within 15 days or I would not get a refund of my purchase price. there again is a descrepancy on their main page at the bottom it stated that you have a full 60 days to return the bottles for any reason and even if they are empty and get full refund. There she is telling me I have 15 days to get them to them. In their disclaimer section, which I didnt read until after I spoke with her today, it says that the bottles have to be unopened before you get a refund. They are a corrupt company and I would like them to be investigated and shut down. I am attaching their main page with this email and as you can see it says buy 3 bottles for 29.99 and get 2 free but it also lists the price as 149.95 so that doesnt even add up. I ordered a couple of products from Optimal Health Products Inc, including Natural Cleanse, not realizing that I was committing to receiving these products every month, and that the company would be deducting the payments from my bank account. When I noticed the deduction on my bank statement, I called the company. Perhaps I should have read the fine print more closely, but it also should have been written more clearly. When I offered to return the second shipment unopened, they refused to accept it.

When I told them I wanted to cancel the subscription I didn't know I had agreed to, they charged me $18.47 for each product's cancellation. This seems like an excessive penalty.
