I purchased a LG refrigerator model# LFXC24726S/ON 8/17/along with an extended warranty Within the first year I had a problem that was the manufacturer's defect the motherboard broke and it was fixed 2-weeks later July 20, my refrigerator broke and it took two visits from MrAppliance to figure out it was the compressor It took weeks to fix Not even weeks later my refrigerator broke again and it took a week to get an appointment and I am still waiting weeks later for another motherboard, censor and fan I am a single mom with teenage children and we are living out of coolers I am disgusted by Plessers, MrAppliance and New Leaf warranty company, LG Everyone passes the buck and says its someone else's responsibility Do you think its acceptable to think I should be without a refrigerator for weeks!!!!
That's insanePlessers sold me the horrible LG product and its warranty that they made money from It horrible to think such a retailer could do that especially from another Babylonian I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER APPLIANCE FROM PLESSERS, LG OR BUY AN EXTENDED WARRANTYMy daughter hurt her back and I tore my ACL and we cannot keep an ice pack because we don't have a working freezer!!!
Who treats people like this?????

Shopping at Plesser's was a nice experience

I am posting an updated (now positive) review of Plesser's on this and a few other consumer review websites on which I posted my original negative review on August **,
While I was unable to resolve the problem I had with the salesperson, I was contacted by Alan Howard (a VP with Plesser's, although I'm not aware if he is one of the owners) almost immediately after posting my review He was very helpful, understood the problem and very quickly resolved it by offering me a refund or credit in the full amount I paid for the original unit, along with free delivery, no restocking charge, etc They have since delivered a new Bosch dishwasher to my home
While my initial experience was negative, I am happy with my experience since MrH*** became involved I think the key to any issue with Plesser's, or with any appliance or other retailer for that matter, is to find and deal with the person who can make a decision, which is typically not a salesperson, since a salesperson usually just wants a problem to go away
The internet is probably not always the best avenue to resolve consumer problems, but many companies selling their wares on internet succeed or fail by their internet reputation
In this case, given the manner in which my problem was resolved, I am going to update my former negative experience and review to reflect the final, positive, outcome

While shopping around for a specific washer/dryer unit that I was interested in, I stumbled across Plessers onlineThe price blew the big stores awayOf course that in itself is impressiveWhen I made the call I talked to Gene, he didn't try to do any selling, just listening to my needs and was accomodating in every wayLike he was a friend or cousinI too have a small business and know how just barely possible it is to please everybody, however, Gene did that and it came naturally for himGreat guy, great prices, I will be backVery Satisfied!!

Stephen was helpful and informativeHe assisted in getting me the best deal possible on this Samsung electric oven

I have purchased a samsung clothes dryer thru jennifer o*** @ pleaser's and am very pleased with both jennifer and pleaser's The price was great and the total deal was really a pleasant experience Thanks again jenn

Bought all my appliances from Plessers, I do think that this is the best customer service experience I have ever had
I had only ine issue with an LG washer and Plessers walked me through the process for repair and eventual replacementThey advocated for me and have to say I had my doubts about LG and the like- warm customer service but Plessers made it rightGot my replacement machine delivers today and could t be happierThank you Plessers !!!

Because I would be renovating my kitchen in the summer, I began planning and purchasing appliancesBetween March and July I purchased four kitchen appliances from Plesser's Appliance store in New YorkIn addition to the appliances, I also purchased the 5-year warranty for the 4-piece packageOne of my purchases was a new Samsung refrigeratorWhen it was delivered in July, I plugged it in to ensure it worked, however, it soon became obvious that something was wrong with the freezer when lots of ice crystals began accumulatingWithin the next couple of days the freezer had so much ice and snow accumulated that it was difficult to open the drawer of the freezerIt was, and continues to be, obvious that the freezer section of this appliance is malfunctioning, not to mention the fact that there are black marks on the rack that I found after taking off the tape When I called Plesser's about the freezer problem, they immediately referred me to Samsung without any concern for the fact

Where to begin? I guess I'll start where a lot of other reviewers do as well, the saleswomanI was initially attracted to this company, because I was able to talk to a real saleswoman, Jennifer O'B***, and it was great! What a rarity these daysShe was helpful to answer my questions, and make recommendationsUnfortunately *** *** was more talk than anything else
Here's the two primary issues I had:
(1) *** *** quoted a grossly incorrect delivery windowThe quote was 2-weeks, not from some string of text on the website, but from *** *** herselfSo I took it to the bankWe needed a new fridge ASAP, and along with the attractive price and *** ***'s assertion of delivery this seemed like a great dealWell, weeks turned into 2+ months in reality with no communication from *** *** or PlessersIt was only after I initiated contact did I get generic email responses back: "Oh, talk to the warehouse guysI have no idea!" Well, you had an idea when you sold it to me so it seems she misrepresented her inventory and assertion of deliveryThis happens all the time in the large appliance industry as they aren't usually kept in stock, I do understand thatThe issue here is how *** *** and Plesser's misrepresented their position, and upon failing to meet their quote they gave no effort to communicate the updated date delivery and expectationsCustomer service seems good at first, but after purchase it's not existentBuyer beware
2) Along the same lines, *** *** sold the fridge with the pitch of added "Free Delivery with rebate." Again, another misrepresentation, and flat out lieLet me explain: I actually had to pay $for the delivery up front at time of purchase (fine, no big deal)However, in reality, for the rebate to be applicable I had to "Postmark the envelope by 8/*/16." That would have been no issue given the quoted delivery windowIn reality, by the time the fridge was delivered more than months later, I was no longer eligible for the rebate, because they missed their own quoted delivery!! So you can't really claim free delivery with rebate, can you!?? Lies, upon lies from *** *** and PlessersI did follow up with *** *** to let her know my concernsI gave her opportunity to fix the situationInstead I received no response, noneThat is until a few days ago when she seemed to have found my email again, because she had no problem asking me to leave a review of my "great experience"Further, to compound the "Free Delivery" issue, once my fridge was finally delivered 2+ months later, the delivery guys claimed they needed an additional $cash to get the fridge in the houseWe, of course, paid because we had no other choiceThey showed up at 7AM, pressuring us claiming they had to leave soon if we didn't pay the additional $Bottom line, "Free Delivery" turned into $highway robbery
Avoid this company and their unethical sales practices like the plagueI was initially attracted to them by their competitive quoted price, however, I would have rather paid the additional couple hundred dollars to deal with a more reputable firm that would have stuck to their word
Horrible overall experience

I purchased all my kitchen appliances from Plesser's years agoI was having problems with my fridge, which was no longer warranty Plessers's went above and beyond to help me Their customer service was fast, pleasant and professional Jolene is a shining star who got me fast results I can't thank you enough! You now have a customer for life

Easy, painless experience Delivery company could use a little polish around the edges, but could have been worse Saved a boat load of money by buying my new appliance at Plessers Will always check here first for all appliances purchases from now on, and would recommend to family and friends
