Paramount Equity Mortgage

We have just finalized a re-finance with Paramount Mortgage and it was one of the easiest re-finances we have ever been involved in! Everything was completed in a timely manner and without any surprises! Christopher M*** was/is the Mortgage Specialist that worked with me and he was great! I required a lot of "hand holding" and he proved he was up to the job! He made every step easy to understand and stress free, which takes a lot for me, I like to know what is happening every step of the way! He was very professional and never made me feel like I was bothering him with all my questions (and there were a lot of them) One of the things I was really impressed with was every time I called or emailed, I received an immediate answer! I pay particular attention to the promptness of return calls and 99% of the time my calls were answered the first time (by a "real" person!), very rarely did I have to leave a message but when I did, they returned my call quickly! I would highly recommend this company! Everyone one I spoke with was great but Chris went above and beyond for me! Thank You!!!!!

My husband and I wanted to do a refinance for lower rate and a cash out for repairs to the house I was told the entire process from start to finish is weeks Needing a good appraisal and having floors in the house down to concrete, I took a day cash out of my 401k with intentions of putting it all back at closing
The initial person I went with was great I really felt a connection and was happy with my choice(we got burned years ago from a "friend" when trying to do the same thing)
end result:
closed days past 401K date so now it is a distribution
original broker no longer with the companywhat does that mean?
All the refunds I was told at closing did not happen because orig broker did not record
them in my paperwork
closing costs climbed from $1400/avg with refunds to make it lower turned out
to be $ and did not even include the $I paid for appraisal = $2765!!
The new broker says he got me a "deal" 1/point lower or $
even though I had all my notes and an email where the 1st broker and I discussed
discounted fees at closing
Everyone was really nice but can't help but feel it was a game/fees/changed broker
the biggest disappointment is the return of money within days makes it a "free" Loan but I missed that date and know will have tax effect next year

Asked pictures of documents to be texted to him and won39t answer phone calls any longer

I was impressed with Russel M*** from first contact to signing this very daywe closed like weeks ago, but he is still helping me as a go between in the back and forth from the escrow company and some of my creditorsas long as Paramount is around, and Russel works for them, I know I have no mortgage worries

Nathan S*** made my refinance happen within weeks from start to finishNo hassle and an excellent rateNathan and his team are great to work with

Paid for appraisal on my home for refinancing the appraisal came back less thanMy Home appraised for in pass after loss of up grades I was told that I would also get copies of the appraisal for my files After the appraisal came back less a copy was never provided to allow me to review comparable salesSo I can file a claim appeal I emailed *** *** the senior loan officer twice with follow up several phone calls He finally responded and agreed that I paid for the appraisal and I was going to get a copyI never received one I followed up several calls and he would not answer his phone left several messages he’s has yet to return my call since June

I will NEVER conduct business with this company again !
MrN*** words ca't begin to describe my disappointment on the way your company handled my loan requestThis process began over months ago!! Every week you requested a different document which I submitted based on your affirmation of the loan being approvedIt is extremely unprofessional and misleading to keep a client on hold, filtering documentation requests based on assumptionsYou had no idea whether my loan was going to be approved yet you assured me it was! I find that unethical and deceitfulAs a result of your inability to process information as well as documentation, my family lost not one, but two homes! I have to wonder if you are at all familiar with VA lending policy; with regards to the ETS document, I told you my intention to retire in the next few months, yet you were once again misguiding by saying "It will be fine, write the letter saying exactly what I emailed to you, this is the last document they want, they do not need to know that"Those were your exact words! Now here we are in the 11th hour and you advised me that the VA will not approve my loanAfter this NEGATIVE experience, I will take some time to educate myself (and suggest you do the same) on the benefits disabled veterans who have served this country with honor and respect are entitled toYou can keep the measly $the appraisal cost as I promise you, I will under no circumstances conduct business with Paramount Equity Mortgage ever again!

Terrible serviceThey contacted me for a quote on refinance, the person I spoke with wanted my SSN to pull a soft inquiry on my credit history before he could give me the quoteI confirmed multiple time if it was a soft inquiry and he said yesTurned out it was a hard inquiry and hurted my creditThey lied straight to meI would not recommend doing business with them

We wanted to refi our house and friends of ours referred us to Paramount Equity and *** *** and his team We started this process in November, before Thanksgiving, with a conventional loan We switched to a VA loan in December Here we are now in the 2nd week of March, and still nothing*** told us to not pay our house payment in February because it was 'within days of being completed." We ended up paying our payment Anytime I call, *** doesn't return my calls in a timely manner or when he says he is going to I even made a trip from my home in Central California to Roseville to put a face to the name and voice that had been over the phone, hoping to put some fire under *** to get the ball rolling faster Once again, *** promised we would have our declarations on that Thursday Well, once again, Thursday came and went, so did Friday, and now we are midway in the next week I have called two people who were higher up, *** Hughes and *** ***, who also said

Great Service from start to finishJosh D*** went above and beyond to stay in touch and make sure I was informed throughout the processHe also worked hard to get me the best value possible, other loan offers from different lenders were not even close to the value I received with ParamountThe process was smooth, fast and I will definitely do business with Josh and Paramount again in the future

We purchased a lead
from a lead provider that had been completed by Mr***. In completing the lead form, Mr*** provided his Express Written Consent (EWC) to be contacted regarding his financing needs. In accordance with federal and state regulations, this EWC allows us to call the phone number regardless of whether or not it appears on any federal or state Do-Not-Call lists. As such we called Mr*** times over a period of days. In all cases but one, the call was picked up by an answering machine. When we finally spoke to Mr*** we added his phone number to our Internal Do-Not-Call list as requested, and no subsequent call were made. We believe that we fully acted in compliance with all federal and state regulations, and our internal policies. A copy of our "Consumer Do-Not-Call Policy" has been attached for further reference

I was looking to refinance and eas contacted by phone by *** *** from paramont equity mortgage in az.where I have a house...he was very convincing over the phone and I sent him some personal information about my self like my mortgate statement and other personal info..than I looked on line and found out alot of bad reviews on this company so I would like them to mail me back all my docoments I aent them.I feel very unconforatable to use this mortgage company even though hosh kept bragging how number one they all..im fonna not refinance with them...too many red flags

I recently refinanced with ParamountThe true test of any mortgage lender is their integrity and empathy for extenuating circumstances that fall out of family with established trendsOn 11/16/16, I received a notice that I was delinquent on a paymentI called and spoke to Derek C(ID ***, supervisor) who spent the better part of the conversation explaining the policyI made a simple mistake, and requested a one time waiver for the late feeI was told by the initial representative that nothing would be done even for a first time mishapI requested the supervisorThe supervisor, Derek, provided an ongoing, rambling explanation of Paramount's policy that treats all scenarios in black and whiteHe offered no reasonable options to resolve the issueThis was a perfect example of how not to handle customer serviceI find myself questioning why I chose Paramount instead of the competitorsI also took the opportunity to see if my experience was out of familyIt appears the overall customer satisfaction response is consistent with my sentimentI'd suggest Paramount consider how to improve this metric
