Two months ago, I was contacted by Paramount Equity Mortgage Coto refinance my house with a ***.loan at 3.66% in the amount of $156,000.My goal was to pay off a nagging $credit cardI currently owe $148,on my homeI currently have a *** loan at 3.50%** requires you pay off all debtMy need was $to pay all debt.I was told the only cost to me was$for title transfer plus $for home appraisal and $for pest inspection.I paid $out of pocket for appraisal & inspection.I'm borrowing $to pay $in expenses at a higher interest rate for yrs.At closing they told me I would get a check in the amtof $1400.the #'s don't add upIt't been nearly two mos.for this transaction.Too long for a refinance and way too much money.Yesterday I cancelled the transaction because it was taking way too long and the numbers were'nt adding and asked for a refund of $They refusedThe misrepresented this loanI feel they were defrauding me and abusing the

They seemed to nice and eager at first but they really over promise and under deliver! We have been going through a refinance with them since early to mid April Supposedly we're working with the manager because the original loan person was just that unresponsive It shouldn't take a week to come up with numbers! We have hit a few snags along the way but when they tell you that you should have something (final approval for instance) a week and a half later and then that doesn't happen and you reach out to them but they don't answer your calls or your emails Then they find some way to talk their way out of it Honestly we wouldn't even be dealing with them any more if we weren't out the $appraisal fee that we can't get transferred I think they charge that up front so that you're stuck with them Completely unhappy with them and would never refer anybody to them

They do a great job and if you work with them they get the job done fast and also they communicate very well

I've been dealing with Paramount Equity since our first refinance in and every time we decide to try a different company we find out that it's best to stick with themThe customer service they provide we can't compareThey really value returning customers and take pride in keeping one's businessThey've steered us in the right direction every time

so far so good...must admit after reading a few negative reviews I was teetering on shutting down...but now i'm in for the long run...I may be out $appraisal fee but if it works as hoped will save money

I have refinanced with Paramount Equity They have originally had a rate of 4.015% for years, this changed to 4.25% for years at the time of signing because 'their system would not allow the other format' Further they have asked for rapid fire signatures of the same document with minor changes along the way This resulted in a change of re-financed cash out to me, a difference of close to $ Once all mortgage documents where signed, the cash out option had changed once again and no one from the organization can validate the gap in funds
