I recently refinanced with ParamountThe true test of any mortgage lender is their integrity and empathy for extenuating circumstances that fall out of family with established trendsOn 11/16/16, I received a notice that I was delinquent on a paymentI called and spoke to Derek C(ID ***, supervisor) who spent the better part of the conversation explaining the policyI made a simple mistake, and requested a one time waiver for the late feeI was told by the initial representative that nothing would be done even for a first time mishapI requested the supervisorThe supervisor, Derek, provided an ongoing, rambling explanation of Paramount's policy that treats all scenarios in black and whiteHe offered no reasonable options to resolve the issueThis was a perfect example of how not to handle customer serviceI find myself questioning why I chose Paramount instead of the competitorsI also took the opportunity to see if my experience was out of familyIt appears the overall customer satisfaction response is consistent with my sentimentI'd suggest Paramount consider how to improve this metric

I was looking to refinance and eas contacted by phone by *** *** from paramont equity mortgage in az.where I have a house...he was very convincing over the phone and I sent him some personal information about my self like my mortgate statement and other personal info..than I looked on line and found out alot of bad reviews on this company so I would like them to mail me back all my docoments I aent them.I feel very unconforatable to use this mortgage company even though hosh kept bragging how number one they all..im fonna not refinance with them...too many red flags

At first we were skeptical about Paramount Equity, but Paul S., Christina Nand David kwere very helpful throughout the whole process and they did a great job in explaining everything pertaining to the loan process and returning our calls and emails in a timely manner

After completing a form online for information about the Home Affordable Refinance Program (which was clearly a scam to collect contact information) I have been receiving around robocalls a day, including calls from LoanPal

The mortgage specialist provided excellent customer service throughout the entire process Only short coming to the process was the time it took underwriting to complete their review U/W was just not as fast as the rest of the process

so far so good...must admit after reading a few negative reviews I was teetering on shutting down...but now i'm in for the long run...I may be out $appraisal fee but if it works as hoped will save money
