I just read the information on the link and must share my concern. With my $5 refund, I was still charged over $30 for a defective product. ...

I am concerned that this "solution" would lift the company from their low rating; no one should receive a product like this and if they do, the company should have the integrity to fix the problem promptly or return all of the money.  I wish I would have known how this company does business before I ordered back in November, which is why I decided to contact you rather than my credit card company, as many other dissatisfied customers without a response did. I hope you reconsider this as a solution that reflects customer satisfaction when writing their review. It will save a lot of other people some time and money.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.After months of no response from business I gave the planner away. Not that I would trust them if I were to return the planner anyway. Item was not received when I was told it would so I do not accept that they have resolved anything. This business should be closed.

Purchased a 2015 Passion Planner on December 10th, 2014 on the website. Payment sent immediately upon ordering. Website stated orders placed in Nov/Dec would be sent in January. Received two follow-up emails that confirm shipping would be in January 2015.
It is 2/10/15 and I have yet to receive the product I paid for. No response to emails or inquiries on any media/platform. I have officially requested a refund as of today.
In the future, I may consider ordering again... but for a company selling planners, they have some pretty poor planning.

I have looked over your order and it appears that you have received your order on February 17th, 2015.
As per your request, if you still don't want to keep your planner, you have two options to choose from.
1. You may return...

your unmarked/unused Passion Planner Back to:Passion Planner LLC[redacted]
We will fully refund you once we receive it. Returned planners must be packaged in a bubble mailer inside a flat rateenvelope.
2. if you still have the original packaging envelope, you can package the planner in a bubble mailer in the original flatrate envelope we sent with RTS, Return to Sender, written on it.
To be eligible for returns, items must be unused, unmarked, and in the same condition in which it was received. Itemsthat are returned at the customer's choice, must be mailed back at the customer's expense. If however we are at fault(damaged, incomplete planner, etc.) we will provide you a return label. The refund of $5.00 has already been processed. If the customer would like to contact us through our email [email protected] we may be able to help further. The reason for the $5.00 refund is to make up for the month that was lost although the product was incomplete. The planner being priced at $30.00 and missing the month of February each month is worth $2.50. We refunded $2.50 for the month and also an extra $2.50 for the hassle.

Hello,We will be unable to issue a refund for a planner that has been used or given away. All refunds are given only if there was a defect in the planner itself or if returned to us in unused condition. However, a partial refund may be issued back to the original form of payment used to purchase the planner. This partial payment would cover the unused months of the planner. Apologies for the late response.
I understand that you are frustrated because the planner came in later than expected and that we were unable tocancel the purchase on time; however, it is against our policy to refund without receiving the actual product back.
In order to be eligible for returns, items must be unused, unmarked, in the same condition in which it was received.Items that are returned damaged must be mailed back at the customer's expense. Returned planners must bepackaged in bubble mailer inside a flat rate envelope.
