Penguin Air showed up in a timely manner when other companies wouldn't even give us an estimated timeframe for repair. The technician that showed up performed the work in a timely manner and was very polite. Overall it was an excellent experience and we will be using Penguin Air for our home and business heating and cooling needs and service!

This the worst company I have ever dealt with. Spent over 10 grand to replace a full AC unit. Had to get the owner involved to get them to complete the job. Extremely frustrating right??? But all was finished I thought. A couple of months after the air conditioner failed again. Back and forth with the company and the technician hopped the fence and said it was a wiring issue. He fixed it until tonight. It went down again. Their "2 hour response" is false. Called at 7pm, service did not get back until 7:30pm 10:00 pm still no service. Sending small children to bed with frozen vegetables to sleep. They are still not sleeping and have school in the morning. It is a house I own and my son and family live there. My daughter-in-law is pregnant and feeling sick with the heat. You call after hours, ask to escalate, and get a scheduler on the line that "doesn't know what the problem is and why you are so upset". Please do not use them. They have done us wrong 3 times now and no idea what the future has to hold!!!!!!!!!

Great people to work with, I would highly recommend Penguin Air for any air conditioning service you might need.

I always receive great and exceptional service. Manny was great and explained what I needed and provided me with great options to resolve my air conditioning needs.

This complaint should not be filed against us as the communication and scheduling issues are with a different company. The staff at Penguin Air & Plumbing have gone above and beyond to assist with coordinating repairs for the customer. To our understanding, Mr. [redacted] has not even been present...

onsite during most of this process and is getting his information from other family members. Penguin Air & Plumbing has reviewed all information regarding the customer's concerns and found that often the details Mr. [redacted] shared with us were "facts" that were either a miscommunication or grossly exaggerated. We are guessing this is by no fault of his but merely the error of the "grape vine" style of communication. Additionally, multiple staff members of Penguin Air & Plumbing have contacted the customer numerous times (both via phone and email) to make sure everything was being taken care of and the customer failed to respond to us in a timely manner or sometimes even at all, then turns around and claims no one is communicating with them. We have phone recordings and copies of emails if the Revdex.com requires additional proof to support these facts. Please dismiss this complaint and remove from our records since the complaint at hand is not in regards to Penguin Air & Plumbing and instead should be filed against the company that is responsible to complete the contracted repairs.

Penguin Air and Plumbing is a very professional company. Larry K. was great during both trips to our home. He explained what needed to happen very clearly and provided options when we needed our toilets replaced at the 1st visit.

He called before the 2nd visit to let us know he would be working at our home shortly, he called my husband to explain the work and get authorization as promised. The work has been completed to our satisfacton.

Excellent! Technician called and showed up in the time frame that service call was scheduled for. Addressed issue from previous visit 10 months ago (leaking coolant) and suggested and completed course of action. [redacted] was very courteous and gave excellent customer service.

Penguin Air sent a serviceman named [redacted] to do an AC inspection. He was thorough and explained things well. If all of their reps are like [redacted], they run a great company!

Purchased 2 new air and heating units from Penguin Air just over 1 year ago. The company is outstanding as well as their employees from the sales staff, to install to their service staff. [redacted] provided me a semi-annual maintenance service today and he is professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. I would highly recommend them.

What I thought was great service and being treated kindly turned out to be an ugly horrible feeling in my stomach. I purchased through Groupon for an a/c tune-up and the technician who came out seemed very kind and knowledgeable. I was told that my condenser fan motor was going out, my capacitor was going out, and that I didn't have a hard start, which I guess is necessary. As a single mom with my children and granddaughter living with me, I could not afford to go without an air conditioner. My granddaughter has seizures due to not being able to handle temperature differences, so extreme hot or extreme cold can cause a seizure. Anyway, I trusted this man. I even gave him a good review to his employer. I told him I have lost my job too. I paid $1611.75 for parts and labor to replace those pieces, and yet I received my tune-up paperwork after I agreed to the work and was told they were all good. A condenser unit for my Carrier unit, at high cost, is $202.75. I was charged $929.25 cents. The blower run capacitor, at high cost, is $16.20 and I paid $173.25 and a compressor saver hard start, at high cost, is $58.95 and I was charged $362.25. I get there is labor in there, but really, what should have been a $500 charge and they do a 200% markup? I am so sick to my stomach. My dad was right and I should have gone to him first. But I thought the days of taking advantage of women were over. I guess not. And what makes this worse is I have a home warranty and when I told Jesus that, I was told it would not be covered because the unit has not been properly maintenance. And after speaking with my dad and him wanting me to go to the Attorney General, I called them, and they said yes, if they had gone out, I would have paid my deductible and they would have replaced the parts. I need this bad experience just like I need another hole in my head. I am so disappointed.

I'm completely satisfied with the work that has been done to date. The three people who did the work (Joey Miller, Fernando and Elvis) were all first rate, friendly, and hard working guys with a great sense of humor!

HORRIBLY DISHONEST!!!! AVOID THEM!!!! Had them out to do annual tune-up on a system they installed. Tech said my inner coils were completely filthy, that my temp coming out of my vents wasn't cold enough, said my duct-work was leaking. They wanted to charge me $3500 to "seal the duct work, give me 2 years maintenance, and clean the coils on the 2 units". I had a 2nd company come out to check it out...They told me my duct work is sealed-NO LEAKS...The coils are barely dusty and don't need cleaning! Do yourself a favor and get another company besides Penguin Air to come do your A/C

On the hottest day of the year, so far, on a Saturday evening, Penguin Air was the only business that returned our call promptly & a tech arrived at the house an hour or so later.... our AC unit was not working. This was a big problem since my 90-year old father-in-law was also in the home. They supplied us with a portable unit, had men on the job Monday morning, and we had a new heat pump and cool air by 11:30a.m. They were professional, considerate, and efficient. I highly recommend Penguin Air to anyone..

Since moving to the Valley 5 years ago, my husband and I have always used Penguin Air for all of our AC needs, and as a result of their exemplary service will continue to do so. Today we had our annual service check to determine any needs or changes that should be made to optimize the efficiency of our units. Chad, the technician, was the ideal service provider. He was professional, very knowledgeable and thorough. Chad was very patient while explaining his findings, to ensure that I had a good understanding of the details and recommendations. He provided several options and explained the pros and cons of each. Penguin Air will always be our "go-to" for any of the services they provide. Thanks Chad, you were awesome!

I had a very positive experience with Penguin Air. My AC went out and I collected several quotes from different company's and the prices were all over the board. A friend of mine recommended Penguin Air, I called Saturday evening and they came out Sunday Morning. I received the best quote and signed the papers on the spot. My New AC was installed within 48 hours by Eric H. He was very professional, explained the process, timeline and cleaned up after himself. He answered all my questions and reviewed how to set the thermostat. I am very pleased with my experience with Penguin Air and I would highly recommend them to everyone!

Firstly, I’d like to share my initial response again as I feel that the information provided should be enough todismiss this complaint and remove it from our records.…2013 for an Annual Maintenance Agreement that was sold and charged to the customer in lieu of fees to rehang aunit for her. (1)The customer disputed these charges in 2013 and we attempted to fight the dispute but theyprocessed the refund to the customer regardless of the documentation that was provided to them. This was not byour choice nor did we ever accept the dispute. (2)We have never been paid for any of the work that was completedat this customer’s home and so we submitted her account to collections after she refused to pay. (3)We do not haveanything in writing on our file supporting the customer's claims that the owner Will promised we would remove heraccount from collections. On the contrary, we have notes on the customer’s account that were documented bynumerous employees over the last 3 years stating (4)not to contact the customer for services and (5)that she hadbeen turned over to collections for failure to pay. At this point since [redacted] account was turned over tocollections 3 years ago, we ask that she handle this dispute with the collections agency. If she in fact has(6)documentation proving she does not owe this debt, they should end their efforts to collect. Also, we would likefor [redacted] to (7)mail a copy of that documentation to our office so we can have a copy for our records aswell. We ask that (8)this complaint be dismissed and removed from our record as the customer has failed to provideany validity to her claims and this matter is from 3 years ago so is beyond the complaint time limits for filing.(1) According to our records we did in fact fight the dispute and provided the credit card company everythingthey required(2) According to our records we completed the job 100% and the customer still disputed the charges throughWells Fargo(3) We do not have anything on record that the owner (Will) promised to remove her account from collections(4) This customer’s account is in fact noted as a “Do Not Contact”. ONCE in March of 2016, an employee intraining accidently contacted the customer. Beyond that she has not been contacted in the last three years(5) According to our records, she in fact did not pay one cent and fraudulently filed a dispute with the creditservices(6) If [redacted] has documentation supporting her claims, then she would submit to the collection agency sothey can discontinue their efforts(7) We have requested copied of said “proof” regarding our failure to do complete the job, another companydoing the job, and Will’s promise to remove from collections. We have not one received documentation fromthe customer and she continues to evade that request(8) The Revdex.com does not handle complaints regarding purchases that were made more than 365 days agoAdditionally, I’d like to add that the Arizona Statue of Limitations for debt collection is six (6) years after theservice/purchase. We are well within our right to pursue this individual for non-payment. We would neverfraudulently submit a customer to collections if we did not have substantial documentation and notes indicatingtheir account was past due.

Penguin Air delivered as promised and quoted. We put the planned HVAC upgrade of our 13 year old [redacted] system out for bid across 3 companies. Had an initial visit and discussion with Will. Will asked about the up-front customer experience which tells me that customer service is forefront for this company. Will gave me the best plan for implementation and the quote for the new [redacted] system was very competitive. The install crew did a thorough job. We had a few follow up visits to complete installation of a [redacted] whole house humidifier for our wood floors. All the Penguin folks who were in our home were courteous and professional. For a major upgrade to the house infrastructure, Penguin made it as non-impacting as possible. Looking forward to great service after the sale for our maintenance plan and future customer service. When our old 14 yr old ac unit was not performing to well any more I had gotten quotes from 5 ac companies and after review Penguin Air came in the best.On May 27th I had Penguin air install a new 14SEER Trane unit by [redacted] and [redacted] there installers who were fabulous, install and whole experience went extremely well and witout a hitch. Iwould recommend Penguin Air to anyone who needs a great price and also great employees.

Penguin Air installed my new Trane Heat pump May 30th and [redacted] and his co-worker did a great job. They were very professional and efficient and completed the installation in record time. Thank you to Tim who was very helpful and knowledgeable about the unit I wanted installed and had it installed in two days. Great company !!!!

From Joe P. Sales, to Will, the Owner, and to Jay T. & Fernando A., the Installation Team, this company rates a "10"! The experience from start to finish was excellent. All of my questions were addressed in a prompt and efficient manner by email or phone. The Heat Pump was installed in a little over 4 hours. Extreme care was given to my home during the installation. The technicians were knowledgeable, professional and meticulous in their work. You will not be disappointed when you choose Penguin Air.
