Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: This does not address the complaint at all. Mr*** finally got around to calling me yesterday. This has been pending for over two months. His subordinates were not interested in resolving this at all and only made excuses for Ms***, trying to cover her actions. Further, his response does not state why this happened, or what he intends to do about this to prevent it from happening in the future to me or other customers. The bottom line is that I was lied to and given statements, which if I had not checked further into this, would have resulted in me signing another lease for months, when the current lease had not even expired. I think this is a marketing strategy used by Pitney Bowes. A friend of mine had this happen to her with another services company, where she was told that her business telephone contract had expired, and that she needed to renew to lock in lower rates. In fact, the contract had not expired. Is this a new sales model being deployed by national service businesses? I wonder.I will certainly return Mr*** call to discuss this with him, but his reply to the complaint is weak. I also have a complaint pending with the Postal Inspectors
Sincerely,
*** ***

RE: Revdex.com ***

Dear *** ***,
I am writing in response to Connected Performance Computing & Consulting Revdex.com (Revdex.com) complaint
Mr*** apprised Pitney Bowes of a *** credit card charge on February 18th in the amount of $15.99. I also understand that when Mr*** tried to contact our customer service, there was an extremely long hold times, and the client was unable to speak with an agent that could assist with your concerns
On behalf of Pitney Bowes, I am very, very sorry for this hassle! Although it probably doesn’t seem like it based on the experiences you have had recently, Pitney Bowes really does care that a client of ours has had a poor experience and Mr*** feedback helps us in making process improvements
Accordingly, I have cancelled your pbSmartPostage account, so you will no longer be charged $for the service. We have also issued a credit in the amount of $back to your credit card, to reverse the charge from February 18thConfirmation *** is for your reference
.
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention
Respectfully yours,
*** ***

Dear Ms***,
I am in receipt of the complaint letter
submitted to Pitney Bowes Office of the President on behalf of the *** *** ** *** *** *** indicates there were issues with Pitney Bowes equipment for over a year, which resulted in lost postage, and ultimately, that Pitney Bowes continues to send unexplained bills
I’ve researched the account, and have determined that schedule on lease # *** is still active and generating invoices to the clientThis should have been terminated at the same time lease #
schedule was terminated in October Due to agent oversight, that did not happen
Pitney Bowes apologizes for this error, and will follow up with the agent(s) involved to ensure items of this nature do not cause similar issues in the future
I obtained approval from management to terminate lease schedule 003, which I processed todayThere is no outstanding/ future balance due from the client.

Dear *** ***,
I am in receipt of the Revdex.com *** *** *** *** CO INC, filed *** ***I have researched account and have found no evidence of deception
The final payment of $was posted on 11/18/This was the final payment for the leased contract ***The client feels that since she sent the meter back before her contact was up, she should be reimbursedIf a client choses to send a meter back before the lease is up, they will continue to be billed and are responsible for paying the invoices, or they have the option to pay an early termination settlementThe payment that was recv’d on 11/18/covered the months of July-OctThe client sent the meter back one month short of the quarter
There is no cause for reimbursement as the meter was used up until it was sent back in SeptPitney Bowes waived $in late fees as a customer courtesyThese fees were waived off the final invoice paid on 11/18/
