Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:I would like to know why Pitney Bowes has a long and continued history of billing errors with our account? I would like to know how Pitney Bowes determined that: "There is a credit of $on the clients account and we will be issuing a refund to the client I am sorry for any inconvenience this has caused." Is this correct? I would like to know how Pitney Bowes strives for customer excellence when it has been impossible to contact any one person at Pitney Bowes via a phone call? I had to contact the Revdex.com in order to elicit any kind of response. I would like to know how Pitney Bowes will handle our account in the future and ensure we will no longer be erroneously billed?
Sincerely,

Dear *** ***,
Pitney Bowes is in receipt of Revdex.com complaint # *** Pitney Bowes understands the frustration of the client ***
*** *** regarding the cancellation of the account as well as the billing
The client entered into a day free trial for the postage meterAfter the free trial period the client agreed to a one year commitment periodThe free trial period expired and the client was billed for the first quarter of the billing periodThe client called approximately days after the free trial period was over to cancel the account because the client stated they did not feel the meter was economical
Instead of holding the client to the one year commitment period, Pitney Bowes agreed to cancel the accountA box and a prepaid shipping label were ordered for the client so they could send the equipment back to Pitney BowesIn order to ensure the equipment is returned it is the policy of Pitney Bowes to continue billing until the equipment is returned to stockAfter that time all invalid charges are cancelled; as it was in this case
The account has been closed and there are no outstanding chargesAll billing has been cancelled
Pitney Bowes does apologize for any and all confusion this may have caused the client and does appreciate all the feedback given by the clientIt is this type of feedback that assists Pitney Bowes in educating our staff to ensure we provide excellent client service

RE: $refund request
Dear *** ***,
I am in receipt of Revdex.com complaint number 10170347, in which *** *** indicates his request for a refund from Pitney Bowes of the 10% (or $5.05) service fee charged by the *** *** *** *** for processing a refund for “spoiled postage” due to an error on the Pitney Bowes website.
During the conversation between *** *** and our agent regarding the cancellation request, *** *** was directed to his local post office for the purposes of obtaining a refund for a postage label printed in errorA discussion regarding any potential fees charged by the *** *** *** *** for processing the refund was not entered into by the agent, nor did the client further question the agent regarding this process.
Records indicate that the total amount of postage purchased during the active period of the client’s PbSmart Postage subscription was $Total postage printed during that time was $24.54, and total postage refunded upon cancellation of the PbSmart Postage subscription was $
I have provided documentation of the transactions in a separate document titled “PbSmart Postage- Transaction history-*** ***”.
An excel file has also been provided, which details specific information for each of the transactions where postage was printed
There is no record of a transaction in the amount of $(Sx 10% = $requested refund amount) on this account
At this time, I do not believe that a refund is due *** ***Pitney Bowes cancelled the account at the time the request was submitted (8/08/14), and I am confident that any refund *** *** would have been entitled to as a result of the cancellation of the PbSmart Postage subscription was processed on 8/09/14.
Respectfully yours,
*** ***

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
I did not have to pay nothing to end the lease, I had to send a credit card payment of $to end lease #***. I was told that if I did not pay this amount the late charges would accrue and my company would be sent to collections. Basically, our good credit was threatenedAlso, what kind of company renews leases for months with an electronic signature? Why don't they ask for and keep on file a person's signature? They count on people not being able to offer proof that they did not sign electronically. Also, why months? You
know the machine will need to be upgraded during that time. It is during these "no cost" upgrades that the leases are snuck in for a signatureAn investigation really needs to be done regarding the business practices of Pitney Bowes
Sincerely,
*** ***
