Per our conversation I had explained to *** *** that due to recent system upgrades, there has been a longer than hold time. I advised until the system upgrades are completed, it would be best to send the payments by check via mail. I explained the importance of writing the billing account number on the check and confirmed the address it is to be sent to. Per the inconvenience I am crediting back the late fee and I have added $in free postage to *** ***’s prepaid reserve account and is now readily available for a download onto his meter. Dear Ms***,
Pitney Bowes is in receipt of Revdex.com complaint # ***. Pitney Bowes understands the frustration of the customer Ms*** regarding the refund for the credit of $on the Purchase Power account ***
Pitney Bowes had received a request from *** *** from *** *** *** to move the credit from the Purchase Power account *** to the lease account ***This request was processed on 08-17-
In reviewing the account, I do show the credit was inadvertently moved twice to the lease account *** causing a debit on the Purchase Power account ***I have requested the second credit transfer be reversed and the late charges have been removedThe Purchase Power account has a balance once the transfer request is completedThis process does take about business days
Pitney Bowes appreciates all of your information and feedback. This assists us in educating our staff to ensure we provide excellent Customer Service

I am rejecting this response because:After I returned the postage machine and closed the purchase power account, I settled all balances as they sent me a refund checkThen they continued to bill me continuously which I tried to cancel several times by phone and mailI have all the paperwork and my letters to prove that, and the last correspondence from them threatened to report me to the credit bureauI want a letter directly from Pitney Bowes confirming there is no outstanding balance and my account is permanently closedThey have given me cancellation numbers in the past and continue to bill me, so I have no reason to trust themThe so called outstanding balance on the account was P.Bowes trying to charge me after the account was closed, I have never seen so unethical business practice before
Sincerely,

I signed up for a free day trial They sent me a scale and printing system I never even set it up in weeks having it so I called and canceled the account They told me the account was canceled and to expect shipping materials to send the equipment backA month later I'm billed for over $ I call about it and explain my situation and they say it must just be some mistake, not to worry All taken care of Oh, and they've been backed up with shipping materials and I'm scheduled to receive them asap A month later, another call where I have to explain the entire situation and this time I made sure to bring up that this is unacceptable Departments should be in enough contact that customers aren't being harassedFinally, months later I get the shipping materials I sent it back Now I'm on hold AGAIN because I received yet another bill and am getting collection calls almost every day on an account I closed...a FREE account that I closed over months ago They said they show my account as being open "so sorry about that" So now, minutes into their jazzy hold-music, I'm sitting here seeing an A+ rating that they clearly didn't get for customer serviceHorrendous and unacceptable Beware of this company

I find it truly amazing that Pitney Bowes would even write that they were negotiating and communicating with *** *** for a month and a half regarding the postage meter change. That is absolutely untrue. When we switched meters, it was I that spoke to them about doing it. It is clear to me that they do not have their records straight and because I am left tospeak to so many different people there, they do not have the story straight.I called Pitney Bowes this year after receiving an advertisement in the mail from them regarding their Mailstation 2. Another office in our building has that particular model. I went tosee it and decided it would be adequate for our company. I called Pitney Bowes and was told that a new lease was signed in October of by *** ***. I told them that I am the contactand they explained that *** *** was sent an email to sign the contract and the lease is until April of 2018. As far as the rate, we did not see a deduction as we have been paying $463.64a quarter. I did call to inquire why it was more than they quoted back then and was told there is a "Value Max fee" added to the invoice which by the way was never explained until I inquiredabout it. Pitney Bowes is definitely lacking in their documentation of communication. At this point in time, we still wish to send back the postage meter back to Pitney Bowes.I thank you for your consideration in this matter.Sincerely,
*** ***

I have dealt with Pitney Bowes at several different companies Not once have they been easy to reach or easy to deal with I have been left on hold for literally hours (I am on hold with them right now) Each time that I finally reach them, I have complained about the wait time and their representatives tell me that "they are working on that" however nothing changes In a small non profit environment that is ever changing, long term leases are difficult to negotiate They will not work with you to change out machines or lease terms Their ink cartridges are extremely expensive I think that due to the name recognition, people feel that they are their only choice PLEASE someone step up and offer something competitive As for future customers, READ THE FINE PRINT before signing an agreement with Pitney Bowes because there is no relief from their long term commitments

Pitney Bowes Incprovides the worst customer service and gouges customers with fees worse than any company we have ever worked with Once you are a customer, it is like being caught up in a nightmare....only it is real

The concerns in my complaint were not addressed I feel the reply is an attempt to loud talk via a type written reply Please stick to the facts The facts are I returned the equipment - it was delivered via *** 12/7/at 10am - and requested that my account be closed & that a final invoice be sent so that I could pay it To date I have an invoice reflecting an amount due of fee's accruedThat is not legal The Bible says you rep what you sow (see *** chapter verse - do the right thing
A specific request was made and ignored and now this company Pitney Bowes wants me to pay for the months that I didn't even want service with them That is not legal anywhere This is a form of bullying in an effort to meet a sales quotaAll I want is an invoice that reflects the date the equipment was received because that is proof that the account is no longer desired Please adjust the invoice and forward it via email, my email address is ***

I am rejecting this response because:
We contacted PB multiple times in June in order to secure a "return kit" for the PB machine We mentioned the nearly 1K of prepaid postage and asked how it would be returned We were told to simply write that we wanted a check sent to our business address We did this and waited patiently No check (or any communication) was received In November we were told that a "refund" form was needed to get the money This was faxed in to PB on November 24th At that time and in subsequent conversations were were quoted "business days" It has now been more than six months since we returned the meter and since 11/that they have their special refund form PB has continued to string us along with repeated assurances that the refund is "in process" All we want is our money backIt should be noted that in their response PB failed to supply the amount or a date certain for our refund

Dear
Ms***,
Our records indicate that on 12/29/*** *** spoke with a Pitney Bowes agent regarding their lease # ***She was informed at this time that there were still months/ payments remaining on their active leaseOur records indicate the client was instructed to email our active lease team on December 29, at: *** to request a settlement“*** informed the agent at that time that they had already started a new lease with a new company and had already made a payment to them
Since the client signed with a competitor, their only option is an early term settlement
Please see the attached settlement offer and contact me at the number or email below with any questions.
If you do not wish to exercise this option, kindly continue to pay your account as invoiced

Lease ***
RE: Revdex.com ***
Dear Ms***,
In response to *** *** *** *** rebuttal, our records indicate *** *** signed both leasesAs you will see on the attached Customer Privilege Lease, the terms and conditions are clear
Most entities have a Time and review process before signing and entering a new agreementThere are four invoicing quarters in the yearThe client states she was informed she was nearing the end of her lease, which is correctPer Pitney Bowes policy, our Sales Team reaches out to our clients up to year before the lease expires to see if there is interest in renewing or upgrading equipment within the last year of the active agreementThis is to assess our client’s needs but in no way implies there is early termination of the current agreement
Also, this gives Pitney Bowes time to work with clients to provide the best equipment and gives clients time to get other price quotes so we can either price match the competition or give the client the cancelation information as the cancelation process can take up to days
The client did not inquire the end of lease date before entering the new contract with a new vendorThere are no notes about price matching or end of lease date until after she signed with another vendor
Payments were made and the machine was used multiple times, which validated the lease in If the client wishes to cancel, please pay the attached settlement offer before January 31, to settle the terms
Respectfully,
*** ***
