All sounded really good at first. Installers didn't call to check for underground utilities and hit my gas line. The panels were installed and it took awhile to work with *** to get everything final and go live.

2 month in, the panels were not installed right and they caught my electric panel on fire!!! COULD have burnt my house down. Panels have not worked in 3 months. I lost all the best "sun" months. June, July and now August. All these people want to do is give me like $450 for the time we lost. Had to call a local Electrician because they have none to service after install. I need an entire new panel............................ DO NOT USE these people. All I get is the run a round. Still don't have working panels and they will not take them off my roof.

Install of SOLAR PANELS was done by Eric the lead and it did not pass inspection, and they dropped the ball on connecting it to the electrical box. H
hHOW do you forget to connect the electricity to the panel for the solar panels. What the *** is wrong here. I had to have them come out and take the cable OFF the privacy fence and bury it as the contract stated, that took forever. NOW I had inspector out and it did not pass inspection Jared the Project manager told them to put it on the fence, really I know that isn't right and I am not in the business. I call, no communication, I complain no communication so I come here and maybe I get some answers to this bt.

Desired Outcome

I have already sent the first payment in going to send the second and it not running. Inspector said make them pay for it, it is supposed to be running. I want refund of any and all payments made up until they have it running. THIS is horrible customer service. NO communication at all the damn machine is still sitting in my driveway now. If it is gone by today shocker.

Bad Customer Service
Purchased Solar Panels from Power Home Solar in May 2019. The first group of installers came out spent 10 hours, and couldn't finish the Job. They ended up turning off half of the power to my house. (Also left their tools in my Garage) After having to call and setup another appointment. The new installers came out finished the job, and then informed us that the Supervisor of the First group did not do half the work they were supposed too. Stated they fixed it. Ended up Power Home Solar blew out the Compressor on one of my A/C Units, when they were messing with the Power Box. We did not notice, since it was relatively cool out Still. Contacted, the sales Agent, who sent me to Customer Service. They sent a repair agent out to look at it, and he kept stating that it was our fault, we should have our HVAC Serviced. My House is only 4 years old.

I contacted Customer Service again, and the gentlemen on the phone stated that Power Home Solar would pay to fix it. But I had to contact a HVAC repair man to get it done, since that is how Virginia Operates.

Contacted the Gentlemen that installed the units in the house, as they are still under Warranty. He came out, fixed the Unit, and charged me $850. I have contacted Power Home Solar 3 times, Once with the Invoice, (Which they stated they received) and 2 Follow-ups with no response.

Desired Outcome

All I am requesting is the $850 that Power Home Solar's Customer Service Rep stated that they would pay to fix the Unit.

Great,***! Thank you for sharing. We're glad that all went well for you.

I was mislead/lied to by the representative selling me solar panels.
On the date of 5/7/19, the sales representative, Brandon C, came to my house and gave the pitch of solar panels. He said that ,"this is the last year that the government is giving a 30% tax credit for solar power. He asked my income which I told him, $25,000.00. I am a self employed mechanic. He said that I will get a 11,000.00 tax credit. I was also told that if I apply that 11,000.00 tax credit to the loan for the solar panels I would have payments of 195.00 a month for 20 years. I was told if I do not apply the 11,000.00 towards the loan then, the payments would be higher. We were told several times that, we will be getting 11,000.00 back as a tax credit. Not one time were we told that this tax credit was dependent on the amount of taxes we pay. Brandon C,the representative who lied to us, had it figured out how much I would be getting back in taxes for the solar power credit and our payments. Brandon also told us that I would be receiving from *** 4,900.00 when I switch over to solar. He did not mention one time that I had to fill out paperwork to see if I qualify for the 4,900.00 credit. I found this out when my fiance, *** called customer service of PowerHome to discuss this situation of selling under false pretenses. I have not figured out how to file for the *** payment but I am now holding off until this matter gets resolved.
5/7/19 I signed the agreement electronically with Brandon telling me what I had to sign. On 5/21/19, they installed the panels. On 5/28/19, I received a flyer in the mail telling me I needed to contact my accountant to see how much I will get for the tax credit. Although I was told 30%, 11,000.00, I called my accountant. My accountant informed me that I would get nothing, $0.00 tax credit because I do not make enough and do not pay that much in taxes. My fiance called Brandon C 5/30/19 at 4:03 to discuss the situation with her. He told her that I can't get more back then I put in. He never mentioned anything like that during the presentation. We thought that this was a tax credit for all because that is what we were led to believe. He told *** to give him *** accountants number and he will talk to *** accountant. now, *** have been he and his brothers accountant for 20 plus years and he does not need to explain himself to a sales rep to try and cover the reps lies. *** then called *** and talked to customer service,5/31/19 at 5:41 pm to discuss what has happened. The man told her that he is writing notes and will talk to his supervisor and the supervisor will call the next day. No one called. *** called back 6/6/19 at 5:40 and talked to the same customer service guy. She was irate because she feels we are being blown off. The customer service man told he that he was sorry and doen't know why no one called. He said someone would call me the next day. Not one time did anyone, the sales rep or customer service inform us of the cooling off period. I never heard that term until I contacted the Revdex.com. *** called customer service again on 6/12/19 and got someone new. *** talked to Miranda R. She told *** that she is going to help.*** asked her why no one contacted us like they said they were going to and was told, "I don't know." Miranda told *** that it is *** fault for not reading the contract. Brandon went over the contract but never once said that the tax credit was dependent on how much I make or pay in. Miranda sent the contract highlighted to *** and then sent 1,000.00 check electronically for our inconveniences. Miranda told *** that this is a deal she is offering and if *** talks to the supervisor that this 1,000.00 may be void because she is offering us that. When we got the email, it said, agreement of settlement. We did not sign it. We do not agree to this. *** was bullied to take the check. Em never said YES to the agreement. We do not agree with this settlement. I'm not don

Desired Outcome

WE have told the company to come and get the solar panels. They said no. We called the back where the loan is through and told them we have been scammed. They called *** and asked if we could get out of the contract and was told no. I explained to everyone that we would not have got the panels if we were told the truth. Now, I am having to pay by direct draft for something I do not want because I was lied to. I am seeking from the Revdex.com for assistance because we were lied to and not given information needed, my resolution I am seeking is what I told the company. I want them to remove the solar panels, pay for any roof damage that may occur due to the removal and refund us what has been automatically drafted from my bank account. I do not see 1,000.00 settlement that the company wants to give as sufficient. If they will not take the panels, then They can give use $15,900.00 that we were told we were going to have to pay and take it off the loan. I'm not upset we got the panels but I'm upset because we were lied to about the price they were going to cost us because we were told we would get 11,000.00 for a tax credit and 4,900.00 from ***. Either way would be fair and not a penny less from them. I'm a *** person, self employed and *** is a ***. Neither of us make a lot but we could do the 195.00 for 20 years. No longer than 20 years and no more than the amount we were told we would have to pay. We did not think we had to contact my accountant before having the panels put on because we were told we would get back 11,000.00 as a tax credit for going solar. As soon as we got the flyer to contact the accountant and did, we discovered we had been scammed. I tried to take care of the problem right then but the panels were already installed so they said no, nothing we could do. Not one time did the sales rep tell us we needed to contact our accountant to see how much we would qualify for a tax credit. We were told again and I apologize for saying it, that we would get 30% back which would be 11,000.00$. This is criminal.

The installation crew was great! They were on time and worked hard, even staggering their lunches so the work never stopped. We were given a great explanation about how things will work once we have our inspection done and can power it up.
