From meeting with Norwood through the completed installation, this has been the easiest process I have ever encountered. PowerHome Solar has done 99% of the leg work during the process while I sat back and signed a few forms. They are prompt & thorough. On the day of installation, Tyler and the crew arrived as scheduled & immediately went to work then cleaned up before leaving. They were friendly & very informative. I tried very hard to find reasons not to go with PowerHome Solar but could not.

I signed a contract to add solar to my home with a 3 day right to cancel. The contract states that I can cancel via email, mail or in person.
I cancelled today, within the 3 day limit and then received an email that I would have to supply a 'wet ink' signature of the contract post-marked by midnight tonight in order to recind. That is not what the contract says. I also received 3 phone calls pressuring me not to cancel. I was planning on still completing the transaction, however wanted time to review my options as roof replacement was now required. After the threatening email, I want nothing to do with this company.

Desired Outcome

None but the company should not be allowed to harass potential customers, nor change the terms of contract.

At first we were very happy with the installation, then it rained and we got water spots on our ceiling. We sent photos and some one came out. Flashing was put on the roof by Powerhome, but a new spot on the ceiling developed. We called back and the same run around. The Pictures were "not received" and NO phone call. The customer service is not up to snuff. I'm not a roofing or siding or contracting expert by ANY MEANS. All I know is that before the installation my ceiling was undamaged. 2 Days after the install, I had a large 3 sq ft water spot on my drywall ceiling that is getting bigger.

Actually, we have not received an communication since last Thursday, when we were told you were NOT coming to remediate our issue. So your statement is NOT correct.

Great from start to finish

Roofing job not completed to include repairing dirt/ grass driveway which was destroyed by company removing dumpster.
New roof s/p Hurricane Florence. Crew chief has not returned to complete job since before Christmas 2018. Used same company who installed solar panels (for which I have no issues). Management has been available but has not been able to resolve. Crew chief no longer returns calls nor answers text messages regarding missed scheduled dates. Dates have been established since January 2019 all being no shows and each time an excuse why unable to come. Of late I was told crew can only come on weekends as a large job takes priority. Company has not been paid in full as job not completed and I have not been pressured to pay in full. I do desire to resolve this issue as 4 months have gone by without job being completed and my driveway/ yard being repaired. Dirt driveway/ yard was destroyed by the company removing dumpster when the truck got stuck in yard and required a tow truck.

Desired Outcome

I desire job to be completed and driveway/ yard to be repaired asap. If company is unable to complete their job then I desire to be released from the contract to hire someone else to complete the job. I have the insurance money for said job and am willing to discuss possible solutions. At this time no solutions have been offered. Per management my case has been taken to owner without resolution. If they were to release me from the contract, I do not desire to complete an adjusted payment until I have quotes for someone else to complete roofing job and repair driveway/ yard. Per contract it states: "PHR is not responsible for any delays due to strikes, accidents, acts of God, or other issues beyond our control". I do not see how my job falls into any of these categories. It is within company control to prioritize jobs and make Crew Chief complete my job which in his own words should take about "4 to 5" hours.
