I paid a Core Charge of $350 Dollars and have not received my check. it has been 12 weeks.
I emailed Derek *** that the electronic invoice was wrong and sent him an email with my correct information on 29 Jan 19 Order XXXX XXX for a truck engine. I received and had it installed in a week. Sent the Engine Core back on the 7 Feb 19 Inv. XXXXXXX DCT8 I have sent 4 emails and have not gotten a reply I have called and the phone rings then gets disconnected.. I have received a return email saying today 4 May 19 the email is undeliverable to 3 seperate emails I had used previously when I bought the Engine.

I want my $ 350 dollars back for my return of the Engine Core.

I sent money as deposit for engine. I sent in old engine for them to send me $550.00. This was in Nov 2018 - still no money. They don't answer calls.
I purchased an engine from Powertraindirect.com in November of 2018. It was sent to me. I gave them $550 as a "core deposit" and was to receive that money back once I sent them my old engine. I sent them my old engine back and they never sent me my refund despite telling me repeatedly that it was going to be sent. Around the beginning of March they stopped answering my calls and I can no longer get in touch with them. I've tried calling multiple numbers and have also tried emailing. No response.

I'd like my $550 back along with confirmation that the warranties they offered are still in effect. If they no longer are going to honor the engine warranty (3 year 100,000 miles) I would like a $2,000.00 refund because I could have purchased a refurbished engine without a warranty for much cheaper than I purchased this engine.

Ordered merchandise (motor) and it never shipped, no way to contact business.
Ordered motor 3/18/19 to be shipped in two weeks, money immediately withdrawn never shipped product.

I wanted credited 3099.00 for the amount they charged for the motor they never sent. There phone lines are busy, the business cannot be contacted. They do not respond to email.

Fraud this company get your money and never call you back. Have owed me s refund of $300 for over 3 months. After reading the Revdex.com file this is a bad company!!! They will steal your money. The phone numbers on their site don't work. ZERO STARS

I bought an engine from Powertrain direct. I sent my old engine back for core refund. powertrain Direct never issued my refund.
On August 31, 2018 I purchased An Engine from Powertrain Direct. I was informed that day by "Hanna" in the "Core Department" that I had 60 day's from the day of purchase to have my engine core back. She said that ounce they received the engine core they would refund $285 within 6-8 weeks to my method of purchase, which was my debit card. The engine arrived on September 04, 2018 my mechanic removed my old engine and replaced it with the engine I purchased from Powertrain Direct. On October 09, 2018 I sent my engine core to Powertrain Direct. They received the engine October 17, 2018. That same day I spoke with "Hanna" from the "Core Department", and was informed that I would receive a refund 6 to 8 weeks from October 17, 2018. Between the dates of (November 28, 2018) - (December 12, 2018) I never received a refund. After 8 weeks of not receiving a refund I contacted Powertrain and spoke with "Josh" in "Management". He told me that they were having an inconvenience because they're under new management, and was trying to resolve the issue, and that it would be another couple weeks before they could send it out.
I patiently waited 2 weeks and after still not receiving a refund I continued to contact Powertrain on several occasions and have left numerous voicemails without receiving a response or return call from Powertrain. Finally on January 22, 2019, I got the chance to speak with "Josh" in "Management", and was told the check would be sent out in the mail March 4, 2019. From January 22, 2019 - February 19, 2019 I attempted to reach higher management hoping to speak with someone that could assist me with this issue. On February 25, 2019 I once again spoke with "Josh" in "Management", and was informed that the check was already sent out. I asked for a confirmation Documentation of the check being sent to my address. He then informed me that he would send proper documentation to my email. I never received any confirmation of the information he supposedly sent.
On February 26, 2019 I once again attempted to contact Powertrain. I called 3 - 4 times trying to reach "josh" in "Management", and each time they replied stating he was "unavailable" or in a "meeting". I called shortly after and was informed that "josh" had left for the day. Since then I've tried contacting Powertrain periodically and still till this day I get no answer.

Desired Outcome

I hope to gain some sort of response or answer to when I will receive a refund or I want the engine I sent to Powertrain Direct returned back in my posession. Thank you for your time and concern.

Engine core deposit not received
Order number XXXXX purchase date 08-03-2018 Payment amount $3699.00 Payment by credit card. Purchased engine upon return of old engine core I was to receive a core deposit of $450.00. Numerous phone calls later no payment. Called Feb 13th told I would receive payment with in 2 weeks. Called Mar. 25th left message. Now I have tried numerous phone numbers only to get busy signals. I would like my core deposit payment I was promised in writing upon purchase.

On 12-28-2018, I purchased a TNVXXXXXXT4H Transmission for $1.865.00 with an additional refundable core charge of $700.00. I promptly returned the core following the exact instructions I was given. I have yet to receive my refund for the core deposit. I have tried to contact this company for the last 4 weeks with no success. Help!

Ordered and paid for a remanufactured transmission, they could not produce or provide. And they did not refund my $1800.31 they withdrew.
Trying to get a refund on a Tremic Standrd 5 speed transmission ordered on 11/28/2018. Item Model number R2398A (Quantity 1 )price $1506.00 Plus a core deposit of $325.00 confirmation number XXXXX order taken and paid to a representative Matt paid by a Master Card by my father ***. We Have tried numerous times to get a refund to be only told, check is in the mail, we had to stop payment on check because it was lost in mail, check is in mail again. This was all by a guy named josh who claimed was in charge of checks going out. Now we can't get through to anybody.

Bought an engine with warranty. Engine has failed, cant make contact with company. Phones are down
On February 23, 2018 I purchased an engine through Powertrain Direct that came with a 3yr warranty. The engine was shipped to Cumberland Collision Center Inc. and installed by their mechanic, Ronnie *** on March 15, 2018. Since then I have had nothing but issues with the engine. It has been in and out of the shop with problems. Ronnie has since claimed the engine was bad and it needed to be replaced by my warranty. He has been in contact with them and doing everything they needed to make a claim. My truck has been in the shop for a month and recently we have not been able to contact the company (Powertrain Direct), all phone numbers are busy and they have not responded to emails. We have tried for days calling the phone numbers on their website over and over and get nothing but the busy signal. The mechanic that installed the engine has also not been able to contact them. So I am down a vehicle and am struggling to get back and forth to work everyday for a month.

Desired Outcome

I want a full refund for the engine & labor that it cost to install. A total of $4500.00. I would much rather get a refund and go elsewhere with my business because this company has not lived up to their end of the agreement. If that is not doable i want them to honor the warranty that came with my engine purchase and give me a new engine. Also cover the price of installation as the warranty states it will.

I bought an engine on 2.26.19 after speaking with Sam. My total cost for the engine with the core charge was $3804, order # XXXXX. The engine was delivered quickly, on and I was happy. We got the engine installed in a few days and the core shipped back on 3.20.19, BOL#XXXXXXXXXXX.
I'm having a problem with the engine and can't get anyone at Powertrain Direct or the warranty company they use to call me back. I can't even activate the warranty, it says my serial number is already in use. I've had an open support ticket since I got the engine. When I call Powertrain direct at either the numbers on their website or the direct number for Sam, it rings once and then goes to a busy signal. I know it's too soon for the core return, it's only been two weeks, but some sort of notification that they received it would have been nice. The last contact with anyone involved with this was with the core return center when I tracked down a number for them and they confirmed that it had been received. My mechanic is still trying to figure out what, exactly, is wrong with this engine. He's had it for a week and already brought in 2 different people with specialized equipment to try and figure this out.

I want Powertrain Direct to pay the mechanic bill for diagnosing and repairing the bad engine sent to me.

Ordered transmission on 03/07/2019 and they stated delivery in 4-6 business days.
Never received the transmission despite numerous calls to them, only to placed on hold. Their phones now ring straight to a busy signal. I've filed a Fraud report with Bank of America on 3/27/2019.

I would not consider ever doing business with them again and hope my bank or you're intervention help secure my refund so I can replace my vehicle's transmission.

I am so disappointed with this company. On 12/20/18 my mechanic had a purchase all set up for me to pay for a new rebuilt engine for one of my company trucks. The purchase went smooth but it was not till it came time to return the core that all the problems started! Here were some of my attempts to get this core picked up:
-Started calling 1/18/19, (and many times after this) left messages with the number only invoice no one ever returned my call
-I went to a www.***.net and they scheduled a pick up, but then when I called back to the number only invoice, 2/26/19 and talked to Matt who told me that the company that was going to pick up my core was another company impersonating them and to not send it back to them, so I called the impersonating company back and told them to cancel the pick up
Matt who said he would generate this pick up and that I would get an email...never got this so called email.
-3/13/19 Emailed powertraindirect as recorded message said-No one ever returned my email
-Called more times than I could mention line was repeatedly busy for days on end.
-Finally one day someone answered and said he was a sales rep and in a different building and that I should email powertriandirect with a different prefix never got an answer.
So never the less my mechanic has been made aware of this and will no longer purchase from this company and I am yet waiting to get this picked up. Buyer beware! I will continue to fight for this to be picked up so I can get my credit! So FRUSTRATING!!!! (Had to revamp and take out ph number because Revdex.com site said cannot contain personal info.)

I returned the engine core as instructed and now I cannot get my refund
I have purchased an engine from Powertrain direct and at the time of sale I was told I could return the old engine core for a refund of 310.00 I have been contacting the company for many months without any luck. Every time I call they are either not in the office or there is a busy tone. I placed an order with sales rep named Jackson on sept 26 2018. I have returned the core with the company they instructed me to. The company is called atk. My order number is XXXXX with Powertrain direct. In December I was told that my core will be cut as a check on Jan 20th it is now April 2nd and I have not received any checks or refunds. I would like to get back the money owed to me.

Do not do business with this company. I bought a truck engine that's making a very concerning clatter. Still waiting for core refund. My calls to them ring and then a busy signal. Emails are not answered. 0 stars ð??

They took my core and now the phone lines or down and don't answer my email.

Had purchased a 5.4 Triton motor from powertrain direct and purchased a no fault 5 yr warranty . The motor has major issues as something broke in the 5 6 cylinders. I called the warranty place to have motor replaced and now they saying they wont pay for anything except motor if it's their fault and not mine. I'm responsible for paying to have pulled and installed plus shipping both ways. It's almost gonna cost more to ship then motor what a joke STAY AWAY. my motor has less than 12,000 miles
