The consumer
is requesting compensation due to an airline flight
schedule change.
Priceline.com
is a purchasing service. As such, priceline.com provided the consumer with his selected
flight reservation. I[redacted] Airlines is the merchant of record and charged the consumer’s
credit card.
Airline
flight schedule changes are often unavoidable and beyond priceline.com’s
control. In conclusion, all issues/claims concerning airline flight schedule
changes must be addressed directly with the airline and not priceline.com. 
On behalf of the consumer, and as a courtesy, priceline contacted I[redacted] Airlines
concerning this matter and they have informed us that a refund of
$250.40 per ticket was processed on May 28, 2014 for a total of $500.80. Additionally,
as a goodwill gesture, priceline provided a $100 refund to the consumer. We
are sorry that we are unable to assist the consumer any further in this
situation.

I am rejecting this response because: Again the link you sent me as you said was supposed to be from College Station TX to San Diego. At no time did I look to leave from Houston. The link you provided apparently chose that for me. It makes no sense why I would ask in an email which I see you failed to provide, for help to return to the page where I was completing the sale of tickets from College Station TX. To San Diego to then add Houston? I had told your customer service rep. Your site was having issues. Priceline knows the intent was to by tickets from College Station Tx to San Diego and despite all evidence showing this fact you keep going back to the same page, the one you sent me, the one I was led to believe was College Station. I realize this is only 60.00 to your company but through investigation I am finding my story isn't un common for Priceline. The bottom line is Priceline is fully aware through my correspondence with them, and length of time looking for the best deal all from College Station that they have acted unethically, keeping customers apparently has no importance judging all of the daily complaints of issues where customers end up with something other then what they were intending to buy. By doing this to many people each day then forcing us to rebook to recoup some of our loss I imagine there is a lot of money involved. I need the return of my 60.00 due to the error in your system that sent me a link that was not the one I had asked for, at no time did  I approve Houston. I also find it a little suspicious that you will not display the requested information, only say you have reviewed it. That is the issue, you are not ethical in your business practice so why would you reviewing it mean anything to me? An ethical company would see that all evidence does show intent from College Station.

Although the website did list this hotel in [redacted], it was mixed in with a list of hotels all located in [redacted], **.  In addition, the Express Deals search page indicated in two different locations that my search was in [redacted], ** leading me to believe that the hotels listed were in [redacted], **.  I feel like this was a bait and switch situation.  I was busy looking at ratings and the other items on the page that were clearly designed to stand out and did not notice that the hotel was located in [redacted] until after the reservation was booked.  I have relied upon and trusted Priceline with blind reservations in the past and it never occurred to me that they would present me with a hotel so far away from my original destination.  Please see my original attachment illustrating the search results I received and the two indications that the search was for [redacted], ** and not [redacted].  In addition, you'll see that the other hotels listed in the search results were all in [redacted], **.  The search results were very misleading.

The consumer selected Priceline’s Name Your Own Price service for the
purchase of a hotel room reservation in the area labeled [redacted], MI, and
states that she did not receive confirmation for a
property viewed in a previous search on Priceline’s Published Price service.

Priceline's "Name Your Own Price" tool. The hotel chain at which
Priceline reserved a room for me was not listed as one of the potential hotels
on the screen before I placed a bid.”

Priceline committed payment to the travel supplier based on that agreement. Our
record indicates that the consumer chose to dispute the transaction with the

initiates a credit card dispute with the intent not to pay for an authorized
purchase, and the bank withdraws the funds from Priceline outside the terms of
this agreement, and the reservation is cancelled.
This reservation remains subject to the policy
agreed upon booking, and we cannot issue any refund even if the reservation is not
used. Therefore, this is not fraud or deception as alleged, and the consumer is
responsible for payment in accordance with the terms and conditions of the
selected purchase.

Quite typically of Priceline's dishonest behavior, they have failed to address the origins of this complaint regarding it's website regarding the purchase and it's scam section "Name Your Own Price." 
Why have they not, and continue to not address that? Upon trying to disengage from that section, after not getting the price I'd entered into the box, my account was still charged. Their dubious behavior is further reflected by their fraud department surreptitiously contacting me on March 20th, after I'd complained about their website. They'd concocted some nonsense about my bank claiming that my name did not match the credit card used. My bank had no idea as to what I was talking about. Priceline was forced to admit that it was just a ruse they sometimes use. Seriously? I lost an hour of pay dealing with that nonsense. They are quite simply a very dubious company based on their scam website and customer service, or very serious lack of I should say. They are outright thieves and liars they know it! Sincerely,[redacted]

I have already submitted the reason why I am rejecting this response. I have been told the same thing in several emails by Priceline. Priceline continues to say the insurance was valid. I understand your position that it was valid but your partner economy said is was not valid and charged me an exorbitant amount for additional insurance. This is your partner, you should be responsible for putting me in a situation with a company that is dishonest and tells your customers that your insurance is not valid. The problem is I was told at the counter of economy rental car that the insurance was not valid. I called to cancel the insurance and was told it would not be a problem and you would look into why this happened.
