Per your request we have reviewed the possibility
of a refund of the unused portion(s) concerning the passenger/ticket number
shown above. The one way published fare for the portion of the ticket used from
San Francisco to Delhi far exceeds the total original amount paid including
taxes on the discounted round trip fare. As such, there is no refund or
residual value to this ticket.

Your website never offered a page that cofirms selections made. There was no page that said "here are the selections we show:"  I also am alleging that your website changed the dates erroneously. Your website is flawed to say the least and it has cost me $222. Your business has done nothing to care about me, the consumer and even while sspeaking through the Revdex.com, you still use words like "sorry", and "appologize" while offering nothing in the way of restitution for the customer. At this point I will consider this money stolen from me, the Priceline.com will be treated as a criminal from now on. I have joined a class-action lawsuit against your website. I will continue to encourage the many others in social media that are having similar issues to join me as well. You will lose much more than $222.

We are sorry to hear about your loss, and we understand your request for a refund of the fee you were charged to cancel your reservation.  We apologize for any confusion; however, your cancellation policy stated the option to cancel your reservation for a full refund was only available prior to noon on October 12, 2016. Because you booked the reservation after that time, the option to cancel for a full refund was no longer available for the rate that you selected. The cancellation policy was presented to you prior to booking the reservation, and it indicated to us that you agreed to these terms when you chose to proceed with your purchase.  As a compromise, we reached out to our hotel partner to request for an exception on your behalf. I am glad to inform you that we were able to obtain a one-time courtesy from the hotel to refund your cancel fee. The refund for $178.36 will be processed through our system within one business day. credit card company.  
Once the consumer initiates a dispute with the credit

Priceline owes me a refund of over 837 dollars. After filing a complaint with Revdex.com, Priceline executive office has responded saying that the refund was processed back to me. The refund from Priceline to me was supposed to have taken place on the 1st of July. Unfortunately, it is now the eleventh and I no refund has been received. The refund might have bounced back to Priceline OR it might not have been sent at all, despite an email from the executive office claiming the opposite. Either way, the refund was not received. Our documented case history confirms that the consumer

priceline on Thu Sep 18,
2014 at 2:05:13 PM ET requesting a ticket exchange.
Upon review of the fare rules associated with
the consumer’s selected [redacted] ticket purchase, Priceline informed the
consumer of the additional collection required by the airline for the ticket exchange.
The consumer declined the option to exchange the ticket and the representative
informed the consumer that we are unable to waive any airline ticket exchange
fees.
The consumer again
contacted priceline later that day on Thu Sep 18, 2014 at 7:17:25 PM ET advising
that she missed her flight and requested a refund. The priceline representative
informed the consumer that her selected purchase is non-refundable.
Priceline discloses the following:

that you arrive at the airport a minimum of 90 minutes in advance of departure
for domestic flights, and at least 2 hours in advance of departure for
international flights. If you choose not to take your outbound flight, the
airlines will consider you a "no show" and will automatically cancel
the remainder of your reservation. Your tickets will not be honored and no refunds
will be granted for the unused portion of your trip.
Check-In Tips - Please verify
your flight check-in location with your ticketed carrier.  Due to enhanced security measures, you will
experience longer wait times at airports.

It says cancelations are available very clearly before you click on the motel. Then in the fine print it changes the "policy"?! This is a bait and switch clearly. That room was no cheaper than the other rooms. You use giant red lettering to state cancelations are available then hide the change in a list of things . It's shady business practice!

The advertisement for the name your own price is VERY misleading. I booked a hotel for [redacted] and I named a price of $70. I thought I was going to get a decent hotel on the beach for a great rate since I used the name your own price which promises deep discounts. I mean the commercials on tv and ads on their web site talk about how big of a discount you can get for using the name your own price. I named a price of $70 for a 3+ hotel in [redacted]. I won, but much to my surprise ( I guess I should of paid more attention to the VERY small print) I won a room not on the beach (still in [redacted] which was okay with me), and I had to pay over $16 in taxes! I decided to go the the hotel web site, to see how great of a deal I got. Come to find out there basic rooms were running about $82, but they only charged $9 in taxes. Therefore my BIG SAVINGS for blindly leaping into a NAME YOUR OWN PRICE was less than $5. $5 is not worth naming your own price. From the advertisements I could save DEEP, up to 60% ! My savings didn't come anywhere close to 60%. My savings didn't even come close to 10%. I just feel cheated and misled. Less than $5 is not a deep discount. I could of picked a hotel on the actual beach for about the same price, but I thought I was going to get a deal for using their highly advertised NAME YOUR OWN PRICE.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is less than satisfactory. My issue was primarily with PRICELINE, not necessarily the hotel - the hotel did what they could to resolve the problem, but it is the PRICELINE that INFLATED the hotel's rating and deceived me as a consumer. I paid for 2 nights in an upscale hotel, not 1 night in a 2 star hotel and the necessity to find a better place for next night. I will avoid patronizing PRICELINE in the future

I am rejecting this response because:
The Hotel was willing to rebook to a later time far in advance (ex. October) and only requested a note/e-mail/call from Priceline. The lack of Customer Service and willingness to help is what actually caused the loss of the reservation. Should Priceline really care about their customers, they would have made the effort, even after the repeated calls I placed to try to get this solved. 
 
It seems Priceline is more interested in being a middle man that is only there for the money and not for its customers.  If I am wrong for believing that a company that helps you book a vacations, and has the opportunity to help the customer and doesn't act on it, then by all means, blame me. They already charged my credit card anyway. It was an expensive lesson, but taught me never to trust a company like Priceline ever again.
