Displayed on checkout. 
In fact I do recall waiting online via chat 
For more than an hour for someone to review 
All of the travel and never got through. 
 I find this kind of business despicable and at the least

When they lie and deceit there customers
How dare you trick someone after a full weeks 
Vacation to stick them with a charge like that 
14!!!???  I would have never agreed to that !!!

Priceline does not guarantee that Name Your Own

I am rejecting this response because:
I must say, it's quite a stretch that you interpret "All
International travelers will need a valid passport and you may also needto show additional documentation at your destination and/or in
connecting countries"  to mean "it is necessary that the passenger'sname on the ticket has to reflect the name on the passport". That's not what that statement says. All that says is that I need a valid passport which I'm aware of. However, the screen in which I input the passenger name makes no reference to international travel nor a passport. Additionally, the passport statement isn't shown until a screen later after entering passenger name when it's time for me to verify information and input payment information.
 
Please explain how you came to that conclusion when your website doesn't say that I must use the name on the passport. Website says drivers license or other official photo ID. Had the DL handy therefore that's the name that was entered. There wasn't a need for 'other official photo ID' since the DL was readily available.
The problem is that you 'assume' as a travel agent that consumers know that they should enter passport information even if your website says I can enter DL.
Furthermore, you have failed to issue my refund and it's been 3 days (5.8.16) since it was cancelled. I have yet to receive a cancellation email or an email notification about refund being processed. What's the hold up? When I canceled previous trips due to price changes, I received cancellation emails immediately.
Due to your lack of information provided on the website, I think it is only right that you rebook the flight at no cost to me.
Priceline is trying to absolve themselves of any responsibility in this matter. Throughout the booking process, there was no transparency that the passenger name had to match what's on the passport.  After the screen to enter passenger name, go to another screen to see that passport is required but still no mention that the passenger name (found on previous screen)  must match the name on the passport.  
Priceline should accept responsibility and at a minimum, book a flight at no cost to me or give me a store credit to use at future time.

I am rejecting this response because:The hotel guest relations coordinator asked Priceline not to charge me for that night because they understand that the closure of Penn Station in NYC due to search for explosive device . The shutdown of all Amtrak trains out of NYC and the earliest train they could put me on was the 9:30 AM the next day . So I paid 164 for a room that was not used that S[redacted] was willing to refund but Priceline could care less about their customers they just want their money no exceptions. I understand that I checked their agreement policy. I am not disputing that but Priceline told me that they could not refund because the Hotel held the room . When the hotel mgmt recommends that I be refunded. I travel usually 6-8 trips a year . I guess Priceline thinks the 164 dollars outweighs future business and word of mouth in person and by social media.

I am rejecting this response because:
We chose a "mystery hotel" based on 2 factors. 1. Free Breakfast 2. Swimming pool. We are only given the hotel details after making payment.
We had no real way of knowing that the pool was not open until the next morning when we went to use it.
The staff at the hotel told us that the manager closes the pool early in the season which annoys lots of guests.
The seller of the hotel room has a duty of care to label clearly what they are selling and should check carefully what they are selling.
If the hotel does not have a working swimming pool then please do not sell it as having one.

Published Price service, where consumers have the opportunity to review and
compare hotel room rates prior to selecting and purchasing hotel room
reservations. The consumer selected a specific hotel property from a list of participating properties, at the disclosed room
rate, including taxes and fees. We are sorry that the hotel provided the consumer with a receipt
or confirmation disclosing the lower negotiated room
rate established between priceline.com and the hotel, which is not available to
the public. Priceline.com is a travel agent and as such, makes hotel room rates
available on behalf of the hotels. Just like every other business, we receive
reduced rates because we purchase bulk room reservations, and if you compare
our rates, you will find them to be very competitive. We strive to offer
customers the best alternatives for saving money, while at the same time maintaining
profitability. The consumer/Bureau may contact the property directly concerning
any room rate information borne by the property.

I am rejecting this response because:The entire practice is deceptive. My agreement was for $30 per night and the total ended up being double and you locking me into the rate with no chance of getting out of it.  I will be filing a chargeback since you are so unwilling to help consumers. I will be posting reviews on the major sites consumer reviews etc. on why to never use your company. This practice is entirely deceptive and fraudulent. If I have to i'll take it to small claims court and the send the very obvious outcome of the case to the media for these dispicable practices.

I still think there is something Priceline could do about this complaint.  I realize I made the mistake, but I called back within 15 minutes of making this reservation.  I was "mistakenly" told I could get the rental car fee back and when I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was not allowed to do so.  I still think something needs to be done so that Priceline gives their customers a grace period as all other travel sites do.  I remain unhappy and extremely dissatisfied with Priceline.

As we understand, you would like to be refunded for a total of 144.78 USD for the second night of your reservation. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.   As a gesture of goodwill, I submitted a refund request in the amount of 48.12 USD which is the difference between the second night refund and the nightly average rate of your reservation. The refund request has been approved and the refund was processed back to your account today, September 26, 2016. The first time I ever booked with this company was a terrible experience. The advertised Express Deal was no deal. It appeared that it would only cost 66 per night plus tax. After I booked I saw where this hotel charges a resort fee. This should be disclosed in the banner ad. Priceline refused to cancel the booking.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined the resolution is satisfactory.  I was promised a 50% refund, to which I am still waiting for which could take over a month to get to me.
Still, the customer service and the rudeness needs to be addressed even in the executive level.  Well I guess it really doesn't matter seeing I will never use priceline again.

I am rejecting this response because: I clearly remember choosing the 17th because I had a doctors appointment on the 16th. I would not pay $497 for a plane ticket for a date I could not fulfill. The company clearly has no business ethics. The company also shows no concern for the customers my sister and I serve this country. We have not seen each other in two years. I paid my hard earned money for my plane ticket, and I only want the opportunity to see my sister before she is deployed to Japan. Priceline is only concerned about keeping my money. I am truly in disbelief at this entire ordeal.
