Unfortunately, we have been unsuccessful in our attempts to contact you by phone, and have left messages asking that you return our call We were able to briefly communicate with you through email, but have not recently received another response Our program, as you indicated, is based on No Credit Needed - we do not check your FICO credit scores in order to approve you with our company. We use your employment (income) and bank account history, in addition to Consumer reporting agencies , to assist in our approval process. Unfortunately, at the time of your application, you bank account history was not meeting the minimum requirements to be approved with our program. We can assure you that your information sent to us is stored in our secure database, and will not be shared with any other company. *** *** ** ***Case Number: ***Account Number: ***Dear Ms***,On July 27, 2015, your complaint was referred to the Compliance Department at Progressive Leasing As part of our conversation, we have identified the letter you received from our Bankruptcy Department was regarding the return of the property associated with your lease with Progressive Leasing The account you had with Progressive Leasing was a lease-to-own program which means you never owned the propertyWe understand you filed bankruptcy and the debt was discharged This removed your responsibility to continue paying on the accountAs such, Progressive Leasing has discontinued any collection efforts on the account However, Progressive Leasing does still own the property associated with this accountThat is why you received a letter to have the merchandise collected To confirm, Progressive Leasing is not attempting to collect any debt associated with your account due to the bankruptcy filing The property being leased was not paid for and with it being a lease, the property does need to be returned to Progressive Leasing. I am rejecting this response because: I attempted to call back and got a voice mail once moreI asked for them to leave a message if calling back from an unknown source so I can return the callI reached out to FedEx and they told me that too much time has passed and they could not help meProgressive leasing claimed that they would contact FedEx originally and that's the reason so much time has passedI attempted to contact their investigation department at least times and they had no one available to speak to me, claimed they would return my call, like just nowI don't have a clue what to do now but seek an attorneyProbably cost me more in the long run, but I am not paying for an item I never received

In the event that a customer chooses to return merchandise, we first allow for the Merchants return policy to be honored and adjust a customer’s account accordingly. Additionally, Progressive Leasing also provides an internal return process that allows a customer to terminate their lease. You have provided notice that a return was done through the merchant. Progressive has done nothing what so ever to comply with what I had asked forMattress Firm offered me to return the merchandise, the return went to Mattress Firm, not ProgressiveHow Mattress Firm explained to me was they would accept the merchandise as a returnMattress firm will be sending a credit to Progressive of what they owe to meSo the only reason they are sending a refund is because according to their policies they need to, since Mattress firm has accepted the merchandise for a returnIn all of my contacts with Progressive all they have done is argued with me, none of their encounters with me were productive or acceptable, if anything they were rude.

I am rejecting this response because: progressive leasing are a fraud and they fabricated my application, stating that my account at the time of the application was negative That was incorrect; as when I initially applied my account was fully funded, however they could not verify my banking informationSo on Saturday 5-2-my account had a balance of centsHowever when applying it states that you must have a checking account that has been open for at least monthsNot have a balance of any sort; and again I was approved with nothing in my accountSo I'm rejecting their offerThey are ridiculous and misleading and *** did not help at allFabricating a untrue balance.
