Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I already submitted my official military orders twice and they didn't accepted it. The first one was sent March 20, 2016 and they told me that it doesn't have a stamp. Then on March 22, 2016, I sent my orders this time it includes my arrival date and a signature that verifies my arrival in my new Command. So, I don't know what else to do? It seems that they don't have the tenacity to solve this problem instead they are prolonging the situation so that i'll be stuck with my contract paying $ 34.99 for their alarm that I'm not even using for the last 3 months.

Protect America, Inc. has received the rejection submitted by Mr. [redacted].  As previously mentioned, Protect America did not change anything that caused Mr. [redacted]'s system not to communicate. We've since received the cancellation request and the account is being processed for cancellation.

Protect America has received the rejected response submitted by Ms. [redacted]  At this time, she would need to contact [redacted] at phone number: [redacted] for further inquiries.

Protect America has received the complaint submitted by Ms. [redacted]. Upon review of the sales calls,  Ms. ** asked the sales representative whether they should set up the home security while they were doing renovations. The sales representative advised her that it was entirely up to her. He...

stated that he will explain to her how the system works. He stated that since the house was already in her possession, he would recommend they set up the system in order to avoid theft of any of the materials they had installed in their home but again that is entirely up to them. Ms. ** stated that she will discuss with her husband and call back. The second call resulted in Ms. ** accepting the offer and the sales representative walked her through signing the online agreement. During the call, she had stated that the renovations to the house would be completed in January, so she wanted to know when does the first payment occur. She was advised that the first payment starts immediately because that is when the contract begins. She stated that she did not want to pay for not being monitored, the sales  representative advised her that once she calls back to install the equipment we would give her a credit for the month that she did not use the system and at most two months. Customer understood.

Protect America has received the complaint submitted by Ms. [redacted]. We reviewed the account and calls.  During the initial sales call, Ms. [redacted] acknowledged the equipment that Protect America was providing to her. We offered to add smoke protection and Ms. [redacted] declined the offer...

stating she did not want to add to her monthly monitoring rate. We ask that she allows Protect America to assist with any further concerns.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:I have not been able to speak to a live person to hear the proposed response, and they have only...

left a message asking to call back. When I called back I got voicemail which said they would respond within 24 hours. That did not happen. They have emailed a new comtract and I have to agree to their terms before I can read it. I do not trust them and therefore none of this is acceptable to me.

I am rejecting this response because: despite the fact that PAI could not continue to defend its proven failure to provide adequate service, it has the audacity to repeat its unreasonable expectation. A breach of contract is a failure to do what one has agreed to do in a contract.  The terms of the contract indicates that “PAI warrants to Customer that “Equipment” provided by PAI is suitable for originating signals to the Monitoring Facility and will be free of defects in materials and workmanship.”  The “Equipment” includes any supplemental products, and they are part of the service as described in the contract.  The sensor and the motion detector are among the essential parts of the alarm system.  So is the timing of the delivery of the replacement.  They are material elements of the contract.  Therefore, failure to replace the essential part in a timely manner alone defeated the performance of the alarm system and the very purpose of making the contract.  This is clear representation of a breach of contract. PAI’s statement:  “At this time we are unable to reach an amicable resolution,” suggests legal action.  The possibilities of the mishaps caused by employees and parts are mentioned in the contract but only for the purpose of PAI’s protection.  Whether its one-sided contract will be challenged in the court remains to be seen.  When signing a contract, both parties to the deal must be given something of value in order for the contract to be enforceable.  I have always fulfilled my obligations.  To my detriment, I had to deal with the non-functioning system, the break-in, the runaround, and the blatant denials.  My loss and damages are irretrievable and significant.  What value did PAI give me?  To avoid the appearance of a predatory business practice, PAI can immediately refund or rescind the contract in writing so neither party owes any obligation to the other. Protect America has received the complaint submitted by Ms. [redacted]. Upon review of the account, we determined that we never received the required 30 day cancellation notice required to cancel services. We subsequently tried to contact her several times over the course of the year with...

regards to the outstanding balance due on the account but were unable to establish contact. The account was turned over to a 3rd party collections company. Please contact the collection agency for further information.

Protect America has received the complaint submitted by Ms. [redacted]. We appreciate the opportunity to address her concerns. Protect America's term listed in the Agreement is for 36 months and requires a 30 day notice to process the cancellation once the term is complete. This information was...

provided to Ms. [redacted] when she initially set up the account on October 10, 2013 and again summarized to her on July 03, 2017. We received Ms. [redacted] 30 day notice on July 03, 2017 and processed the cancellation of the account accordingly. The obligation to give 30 days notice is to allow us to disconnect services with our third party vendors and for accounting purposes. We ask that she allows Protect America to assist with any further concerns.

I am rejecting this response because: This is complete crap. I've given them 30 day cancellation notices multiple times. They've continued to charge me even after I moved and had to block them on my credit card. I can show where they were still charging me in 2015 so how in the world can I have an outstanding balance when I left Ohio in 2014 and asked to cancel the service on multiple occasions is March of 2014. Please see attached images of my AMEX statements where Protect America charged me every month for since August 2014 to January 2016

I am rejecting this response because: I feel a purchase of another detector at 70 dollars or signing a waver or return the detector we have isn't a resolution thanks

I am rejecting this response because nowhere on this document will you find MY signature. Just because someone wrote my name on the appropriate lines does not make this a legally binding contract.

I am rejecting this response because: They have not offered any solutions, I have called in for months trying to resolve my issues.  I was forced to work with another company, ADT, as they were able to offer me the services I requested.  I spome on the phone with another lying individual earlier in the week from protect America.   The rep again stated that the services I requested are not available thru proect america.  Because of protect america' s failure to resolve my issues I had to sign up with a different company.  Protect America Claims They Are Helping Me, But All They Are doing Is trying To Get Me Too find someone else To take Over My contracts .   Protect America needs Too waive My cancellation Fees Now!  This Is Absolutely Absurd How Much Time And Money If Mine They Are wasting.  They AreNot  trying To Help Me one Bit!  They are only trying too keep making pay for services that they promised the company was capable of.  They ripped me off and are continuing to do so!

I am rejecting this response because: They keep blaming the problem on this third party. That third party represents them.  Both my son and I were told they were including a camera at no extra cost to us.  First when I decided to go with Protect America and then after calling the so called third party several times after. My son was told by the people that delivered the sensors the camera was back ordered it would be there in a week and he called them again after it did't show.  Also were were promised an adjustment to our bill by Protect America in June of this year and that never happened.  I talked to my son today and he said the camera that they promised us 3 yrs ago finally showed up. As for us taking so long for us to complain again, we didn't realize we were still paying for that service because it was auto billed to our credit card and my wife thought it was for a house we inherited 2yrs ago.  As stated earlier my son, fiancee and their 2yr old were forced to move to a different part of campus after being broken into.  We thought he had cut ties with Protect America when he moved.  He said he forgot to call them.  Regardless, They offered us a service they didn't deliver.  If they hired shady people to sell their product is that our fault.  The only thing we are guilty of is paying for a service we were promised on several separate occasions and never received.  I suppose they now never said they were going to adjust our bill or was I talking to a third party in June??

I am rejecting this response because: This is a lie. I tried many times to fix the sensors in our house. Again, Protect America is trying to blame me for not being able to fix their problem that the sensors do not stay in place. I have enough of their insults. I want to get out of their contract.
