Publishers Partnership Services Reviews (%countItem)

This is indeed a scam. For every "offer" I receive from them I send a note online to the Wyoming Attorney General.

I work in a small public library in ***. One of our favorite magazines that patrons check out of the library is "*** Magazine". Our current subscription was expiring and we received a subscription renewal from Publisher's Partnership Services. The check for $187.00 was cashed on 5/22/2019 but as of this date 8/7/2019 we have not received a *** Magazine issue. I have called *** publishers directly and they have not received the subscription money from PPS. I have sent to PPS a letter requesting the library's money back since on their phone message it was mentioned to send a written correspondence. The letter should have been received about 3 weeks ago.

This company misrepresented itself. Offered me *** Magazine and I could pay in two installments but to date have
not received any *** Magazine.

Just would like to give an update on my complaint. Today I received my first Magazine (***)for the subscription that I paid to Publishers Partnership Services, LLC. Please close my complaintand as far as the other complaints the company does say when you call them to give them 90 daysafter payment to receive your subscription.

I paid $49.95 for a two-year subscription to *** magazine on April 15, 2019, but as of July 31, 2919, have received no magazines. I wrote the company in early July and have received no response..
They have no email address and their phone directed me to mail a letter.

This is one of the most successful scams in existence .
They typically prey on old people who will see this as a reminder to renew an existing subscription .
Give them an A++ for their Business Plan Scam.
Pity I cannot give them a negative number

I sent a check to Publishers Partnership Services for *** , 4/23/2019, check was checked, as of July 22, 2019 no magazine!
Called company, just a recording. Called , no subscription!
This company should be stopped! They are scamming many people and
their invoice is deceiving.Since this occurred I am receiving more offers weekly.

I provided publishers partnership services a written request to refund my purchase and no one has gotten back to me. Then I received another bill in the mail from them. This place is a scam and I just want my $70 refunded.

I sent a check to this company thinking it was the Official *** statement. when I realized it was not, I immediately called and wrote to cancel this order. the reverse side of the bill says it will refund the money. this was in September of 2018. I never recieved the money and I truly dont care. they keep sending me ***, and I keep sending responses back that I do not want the magazine. I am getting billed and literally begging them not to keep sending me this magaizine.ihave an entire file with this all documented. I do not want this magazine. please help. I am not asking for money, but I am concerned they are going to report me to the credit bureaus and this will hurt my credit. what can I do to stop this harrassment??????????????

In April 2019 I paid for a 1 year subscription to *** magazine for $79.00. I have yet to receive the issues. I tried calling the given business number, but to no avail. My check for the subscription was deposited according to my statement records. I have since received three other subscription offers from the company, which I am, of course, ignoring.

I ordered US magazine subscription from them. I sent a check along with their order form on in early May. The check was made out to them on 5/2/19 for the amount of $129.95 (check #6044) I have never received a single copy of the magazine! They keep sending me new forms to order MORE magazines from them - we have probably gotten at least 7 or 8 in the mail. When I went on line to google the co, it shows that they have had numerous complaints about them.

I have two of the same magazine being sent to my home (***). I can not reach the Publisher Partnership Services company to correct this problem. Very frustrating. Can you assist me in this communication situation.

Rec'd. offer from company for renewal to The ***. Paid by check on 5/13,$139.95. Subscription not forwarded to The ***. Foolishly I did not check with Revdex.com!!

I received a bill from this company for a subscription to ***. We did not request this subscription.

Publishers Partnership Services Response • Jul 16, 2019

Dear ***,
Thank you for your email. As stated on the front and back of the mailing, this is just an offer and not a bill.
We will remove you from our mailing list.
Thank you!

I recently filed a complaint with the *** Revdex.com about the fact that I sent money to PPS for a one year subscription to *** magazine. I paid half the amount, which was approximately $70. I never received the issues, so I called ***. They told me PPS was a scam and that they were "unauthorized distributors". I cannot get my money back from PPS. They do not return my calls and when I did get through I keep getting told that someone will contact me. This has been going on for months. Friday, I received another invoice from them (after the other Revdex.com complaint was resolved by *** sending me a subscription to cover my costs) and now they are billing me for a subscription to *** which I never ordered. I still have not gotten my original money back from them. I am sending copies of the invoices I've received to date. I want my money back, I want them to be stopped and leave me alone.

My husband inadvertently paid a bill to this company about 3 years ago. I wrote several times asking for he subscription to be cancelled. However, it has not!! I have asked them to NEVER contact us again about *** or any other magazine. But they keep sending requests for us to subscribe to other magazines.
Recently we received a letter stating they had renewed our subscription for 2 more years. My husband paid the bill by check the first time. so I do not know how they did this.
I would LIKE TO NEVER RECEIVE MAIL FROM THEM AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

I wrote a check to Publishers Partnership on 3/24/2019 in the amount of $89.98 for a one year subscription to *** magazine.
That check was cashed on 4/15/2019. I have yet to receive a copy of the magazine or any communications from the company

I WAS SENT AN INVOICE FOR A 2 YR SUBSCRIPTION RENEWAL TO *** MAGAZINE. I PAID HALF OF THE SUBSCRIPTION BY CHECK FOR $29.98 ON 4/4/2019, THE INVOICE SAYING THEY WOULD BILL ME FOR THE SECOND YEAR AMOUNT OF $29.97 LATER. I HAVEN'T RECEIVED ANY MAGAZINES, BUT RECEIVED A BILL FOR THE SECOND YEAR. I HAVE RECENTLY RECEIVED AN INVOICE FROM ***, SO I CALLED THEM AND WAS TOLD THAT PUBLISHER PARTNERSHIP SERVICES IS NOT AUTHORIZED TO SELL SUBSCRIPTION OR BILL FOR ***. NOW I AM OUT THE AMOUNT OF $29.98 I PAID TO PPS, BUT STILL OWE *** FOR MY RENEWAL. THAT IS FRAUD TO TAKE MONEY WITHOUT DELIVERING THE MAGAZINE.

I receive multiple solicitations per month from this company that are carefully designed to look like invoices, not advertisements. I believe this is a misleading and fraudulent practice designed to trap careless consumers into paying a "bill" that they do not owe for a subscription they have already paid for. We fell for it once from their sister company based in *** that has exactly the same format for their "advertisements."

Complaint on behalf of my father-in-law, who is 90 years old. He received a "subscription renewal" from this company for *** magazine. It is our understanding that the company does not directly represent the publishers. These notices look very much like a bill and aren't. His current *** Subscription goes out to November 2021 already.

These notices are very similar in nature to those previously received from Publisher Payment Services with whom we have a formal request to be removed from all mailing lists and communication.

We have returned the notice he received and have requested total removal from all mailing lists (no response to date but it has only been 2 weeks). However they have no other contact information that we can find other than the PO Box on the solicitation.

Sent the check for TV Guide subscription on March 13, 2019. Check was cashed on April 2, 2019. Still haven't received any issues as of May 29, 2019. Will never use this service again for subscription renewals of any kind.

Publishers Partnership Services Response • Jul 16, 2019

Dear Janet,

We apologize for the delay in receiving your magazine. Often times, publishers can take up to 8 weeks to fulfill a subscription.

We will take you off of our mailing list and ensure you receive a proper refund.

Regards
