SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! DO NOT SEND THIS COMPANY ANY MONEY!!!! I submitted a payment to this PPS, LLC for People Magazine back in June 2018 (check cleared and still nothing) and I didn't think anything of it, since I was nearing close to renew my subscription. Its my fault f'or not paying close attention to the subscription notice. Now, I'm out $90.00 for 1 year subscription of People Magazine. If the subscription notice is not coming directly from the magazine, DO NOT RENEW!!!!!

Publishers Partnership Services Response • Jul 16, 2019

Dear Cindy,

Thank you for your email.

You can rest assured that there are extensive vetting processes in place in order to become an authorized partner for a magazine such as People and we are proud to be one of them.

Often times it can take between 4-6 weeks for the publisher to send out your first copy but, clearly, we have dropped the ball and apologize for the inconvenience. Please send us a letter detailing the specifics, address, the full name of the individual you would like the check made out to etc. and we would be happy to issue you a full refund.

Regards

I purchased a magazine subscription on January 8, 2019 for $169.95 cashed my personal check on January 20, 2019 and as of 8 weeks later, I still not received any magazines for this subscription. I have contacted the actual magazine company and they have received no order or confirmation of order from a Publishers Partnership Services. I have also sent them a letter requesting a refund for lack of services provided.

Paid $79.95 for a *** magazine subscription service that was never started ... payment made Dec. 6, 2018, check # ***, cleared our bank on Dec. 18, 2018. The lack of delivery was confirmed today (3/4/2019) by a call directly to *** magazine's customer service department who indicated they had no record of this transaction.

Company is trying to get me to renew a subscription to a magazine. I don't know who they are and am suspicious of them because my renewal is at least 6 months away. I don't know if they are connected to the magazine (***.

I did not order magazines of any kind. I have recently received 2- *** magazines and a bill for $179.95 for 1 year. I am angry for receiving these magazines.

Publishers Partnership Services continues to send unwanted solicitations to me at two different addresses. I have sent their correspondence back to them with repeated requests to remove my name and address from their mailing list. They have not removed me from their list and they do not answer their phone. Anything you can do to help stop this harassment would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

I received correspondence in the mail for renewing my wife's *** subscription. I paid the first installment of $69.98 on 11/2/18 and the second installment of $69.97 on 12/23/18. We have still not received the magazine. My wife tried to contact the publisher service and there is no way to talk live to anyone from this company. My wife also went online to the Revdex.com, found the service on your website and read that we are not the only people who are experiencing this. She tried to contact the person from the publishing service who was listed on your website back in January. She has not received a response. I have instructed my bank to stop payment on my checks but I'm not certain if the checks have been cashed already.

I received what appeared to be an invoice for *** magazine which I had been receiving until December, 2018. The invoice looked like the one I received from *** before and I sent a check for a one-year renewal. That was in December 2018. I have yet to get any acknowledgement of this check for $179.95 nor have I received any issues of *** Magazine. It is now February 25. Is this company a sham? I did read that this offer is from an independent agent as some magazine subscriptions are. The phone call listed on the invoice goes to a voice mail system and does not answer with a customer service rep. I would like a total refund of these funds so that I can deal directly with *** magazine.

I sent 59.95 to this company in October of 2018 for subscription to *** magazine and never got magazine. I just called *** Magazine recently they said they have no affiliation with PPS. I contacted PPS and could not talk to anyone. I would like a refund.

Scammers targeting the elderly by sending them what looks like magazine bills over and over again for the same magazines that they already just paid for. My 87 year old mother was scammed out of thousands by these sm suckers. Of course they only have a PO Box and a recorded voice message because they’re not a reputable company. Reputable magazine companies shouldn’t accept subscription requests from them at all.

I am writing on behalf of my 87 year old mother. My parents subscribed to *** magazine for years. She received a notice of continuation for *** with the correct account number October 2018. It was from Publishers Partnership Services (PPS) and she sent them a check for 49.95 which was cashed a week after it was sent. She thought the money was being collected for ***. She received one magazine from *** with two collection statements in January stating that *** had not received her payment and sent one magazine. I called *** with my mother present and they stated that they did not receive the payment from PPS. I looked PPS online and the only phone number had a recorded message with no way to leave a voice mail and no other numbers. The bank was unable to help because it was more than 90 days after the check was cashed.

We order *** magazine, paid in full. Two weeks after, was mailed a document stating: The amount of subscription orders that the publisher will accept is constantly changing and therefore, we are having difficulty completing your order. We would like to offer you another option, *** magazine. I said NO. Just return my money $29.95 paid by Check, Paid-in-full November 17, 2018.

A refund in the amount of $29.95 will be sent out tomorrow and you will continue to receive the magazine for one year at no cost. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Thank you.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Thank You.

I answered a mailed ad offering a better subscription price 2 years of The *** magazine.
My first check was dated July 19, 2018
My second check was dated August 11, 2018

They won't accept phone calls. On November 2, 2018 I wrote them a letter (4 months after they received my second check) and they had not sent any money to The ***.

Eventually they sent partial payment to the *** for one year - to date they have not sent money for the second year.

I got one e-mail response from someone named Lori who confirmed they had my money and she would get back to me - has not happened. Every time I get a magazine I check the label to see if they have sent the second year's money - still has not happened.

I paid this service 39.95 for a 2year subscription renewal...they never paid the magazine company.
I have called them...they only have a recording that indicates you need to write them...
I have written them twice.....I have received no reply...
I have no other way to contact them...
FYI I will never do this again...!
I paid them 10/25/2018; they cashed the check; my bank 'cannot do anything' ...
I called them again today (2/11/2019)...etc.

We were sent a renewal form for *** Magazine that Stated "Thank you! Your prompt Attention is Appreciated" A check was sent in and PPS, LLC did not deliver what was paid for by us. I called many times with no answer or left a message on Tel. # ***-***-***. The check was processed and cleared and I have a copy of the check. Since this encounter, we have received at least once a month bills of similar nature to the original for other magazines we do not subscribe to.

Thank goodness I contacted my magazine company after I received the invoice from PPS.,I couldn't believe PPS tried to charge me $37.00 more for my magazine that I have been getting for over 30 us from the REAL company.

I have received an unwanted solicitation from Publishers Partnership Services. it seems clear that this is a "phishing" solicitation or some other scam. It makes me very nervous that somehow this company has my address and I assume my previous subscription history since I have had a *** subscription in the past. They are scoundrels!

DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY TO THIS SERVICE-IF YOU WANT A SUBSCRIPTION TO A CERTAIN MAGAZINE -MAKE SURE ITS TO THE ACTUAL NAME OF THE MAGAZINE -MY ELDERLY MOTHER HAS SENT FULL PAYMENTS FOR A SUBSCRIPTION OF "GOOD OLD DAYS" MAGAZINE AND THEY KEEP SAYING SHE OWES ANOTHER PAYMENT OF $24.97-SO SHE THINKS SHE HASNT PAID IN FULL -THIS IS A SCAM-THIS IS HOW THEY GET SENIORS LET ALONE ANYONE TO KEEP SENDING PAYMENTS WITHOUT KNOWING THEY ARE BEING HAD-THEY MAKES YOU THINK YOU HAVENT PAID IN FULL-THEY MAKE IT CONFUSING AND ESPECIALLY FOR SENIORS,-THAT IS WHAT THEY ARE HOPING FOR THATS HOW THEY GET THE EXTRA PAYMENTS-SHAME ON THEM FOR TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE ELDERLY LET ALONE ANYONE AND THE TELEPHONE NUMBER ON THE INVOICE IS A RECORDING AND THE RECORDED MESSAGE IS KIND OF CONFUSING TO UNDERSTAND-YOU CANNOT TALK TO A ACTUAL PERSON-THIS IS A SCAM.

Dear Anges,

Thank you for the email.

We are sorry to hear of the troubles you and your family have been having. To clarify we do not send bills, we send clearly defined offers that denote the specific intention of the offer. Additionally, we provide a thorough explanation of that offer on the back of all of our mailings.

In an effort to help make certain products more affordable, we do offer installment pricing plans for those who wish to make payments rather than pay in full. If for some reason your elderly mother did not track her initial payment and sent in a duplicate payment for a magazine she is already receiving and/or previously paid in full, please send us a letter detailing the specifics and we would be happy to issue you a full refund.

We are proud to offer our services to an audience of all ages and to be partners with the majority, if not all major publications. I can assure you that we do not "hope" for anyone's misfortune and/or take advantage of anyone's situation.

Unfortunately, we are not in a position to monitor individuals accounting principles and best practices which would help them avoid any duplicate payments in the first place. To reiterate, please mail us a letter detailing the specifics of any overpayments that were made to which magazine etc. and we will be happy to issue a refund.

Regards

My mother, mistakenly sent Publishers Partnership Services $79.95 thinking she was paying for a sub- scription to the ***. It was really for *** which she has no interest in and I sent a letter In October of 2018 stating so and asking for a refund since they state that all cancellations have to be done in writing. She never received a refund nor did she receive any *** at any time. Her check was cashed by Publishers Partnership Services on October 16, 2018 so I wrote another letter to them on 12/3/18 stating so. To date we have not received a refund. I stated in my letter of 12/3/18 that if I don't receive a response back from them that I would be filing a claim with the Revdex.com. I have kept copies of all my correspondence. My mother is limited in her abilities to read and write, therefore I am doing this on her behalf.

I received an offer from Publishers Partnership Services for 52 issues of ***. I mailed my check for $69.95. The check was cashed/cleared on 9/14/18
I called the phone number provided on the invoice ***-***-*** - per the instruction on their invoice - direct all questions to customer service phone number given. Their recorded message said you could not speak to anyone only send a request in the mail for help. The message said receipt of the magazine could take up to 12 weeks from receipt of check for processing. It's been 4 months and I have not received the magazine.
If I cancel now, they will charge me $9 processing fee plus cost to submit order. I used the Revdex.com service to email them and still not have received any resolution.

Publishers Partnership Services Response • Feb 15, 2019

-A refund of 69.95 was issued 2/15/19.
