I purchased a magazine subscription on November 21, 2018 for $39.95 cashed my personal check on December 4, 2018 and as of 6 weeks later, I still not received any magazines for this subscription. I have contacted the actual magazine company and they have received no order or confirmation of order from a Publishers Partnership Services ***, ***, ***. I have also sent them a letter requesting a refund for lack of services provided.

Publishers Partnership Services Response • Feb 20, 2019

Ms. has been issued a full refund and the check will go out tomorrow.Thank you.

Received billing from PPS for renewal of *** magazine in November 2018. Foolishly I thought it was from *** and mailed a check for one year renewal subscription for $179.95. Which was cashed.
Today I received a renewal from *** magazine and was perplexed as I thought I had already taken care of this!

Paid for this magazine, checks cleared and no magazine. I have sent several emails with no response to ***. Please help me with this problem.

-Could you please provide me with the name of the magazine you have not received so I can look into this further.

On August 27, 2018, I sent a personal check for $54.98, for 6 months of *** magazine. There were two options possible, to pay for a full year or to pay in two installments. On 10/3/2018, I received a notification from this company saying "we must advise you that your order for *** remains unpaid and is past due. That means we will have to suspend delivery unless we receive the payment immediately", but it acknowledged that the"installment" payment had been received. Since no magazines had ever been received, I wrote a letter 10/5/2018 asking for the delivery to commence, followed by a second letter 11/7/2018. Phone number listed is a recording that says to put the request in writing, which I did twice. Since then, I received numerous similar offers from this Publishers Partnership Services for other magazines. What do you suggest I do to redeem my money or my magazines

Publishers Partnership Services Response • Feb 15, 2019

A full refund of 54.98 was issued on 1/17/19

I appreciate the help for Revdex.com to get the rebate for the money I spent for services that were never rendered. Only through this agency was the company forced into action and resolution. Thanks for this service!

I ordered *** from this company thinking I was renewing it from the company I usual do business with. When I discovered my error, I found that this company, PPS, had already cashed my check. This was in July. It is now December and I have not received my new subscription to ***. I am sending them a letter but from what I have read online about this company, it will be useless. I really would like my subscription. Thank you

I wrote a check for *** magazine in the amount of $119.95. Check number is *** and I have a copy of the cancelled check. I have never received the magazine but continue to get "renewal" notices from this company.

Ms.,

Your check and order have been received. The order was processed at the clearinghouse on 10/31/18. As indicated on the order form you retained for your records, it takes 6-12 weeks to have the magazine delivered which is the industry standard and not specific to PPS. We are happy to refund your money but please be advised that there is a $15.00 cancellation/processing fee that will be deducted. Please let us know if you would like to proceed with the refund. Thank you.

Paid for magazine subscription and never received the magazines. I sent them a check and they cashed it but I never received anything.

I have received an invoice two months in a row for a magazine I already get. I thought it might be a scam so I did not reply, but decided to look them up online. Got this site as the first choice. Funny thing is each invoice had a different account number listed. They both say I have already paid for 1 year of the two year subscription. I sure hope I didn't already pay them for 1 year!!!

Publishers Partnership Services Response • Jul 16, 2019

Dear Elizabeth,

Thank you for your email.

As you can tell from reading the mailings, the clearly defined verbiage on the front in addition to the detailed description on the back indicates that are not invoices but, are in fact offers.

Each offer has a different invoice number and account number listed because each offer is unique and has an expiration date. Given the publisher's rate of change, coupled with a potential price increase(s) etc, we can only honor pricing for a set period of time.

I would encourage you to re-read the mailings in order to ensure accuracy and perhaps keep better accounting records to ensure accuracy and avoid any overlap. Should you have any additional questions, comments or concerns please do not hesitate to let us know how we may best be of assistance.

Regards

In May 7,2018 I sent a check for $139.95 to this company for more issues of my magazine "***". It was supposed to extend my subscription. Check was cashed 5/23/18 but no additional issues were credited to my subscription. I contacted this company on July 24,2018 and again on Sept.26. 2018 . No response, ever.

Publishers Partnership Services Response • Dec 21, 2018

Ms.,I am sorry to hear that you never received your magazine. A full refund will be sent to you this week.Thank you,Lori

On August 20th, 2018 we mailed a check for $ 109.95 to renew a *** magazine subscription. They cashed the check on August 27th. On October 22, 2018; we wrote a letter requesting our subscription to begin or a refund. We have no magazine, no refund and no answer. It is a deceptive practice to send a subscription renewal form that looks legitimate and not be so.

Publishers Partnership Services Response • Dec 21, 2018

We have a *** in our system located at the same address as you but nothing under ***. Under the name *** we do not have any orders that have been placed. Could you please let me know if the account could be under a different name and send me a copy of your cancelled check via email?Thank you,Lori

I sent a ck for 119.95 for a years subscription to *** Magazine on Oct. 18,2018 and the ck cleared my bank 10 31 2018. To date, I have not received my magazine. I tried calling a customer service number and it is a recording. I also emailed ***@***. No response. I want a full refund. This is considered mail fraud. I want my money back

Publishers Partnership Services Response • Dec 21, 2018

Mr.,We are in receipt of your payment and your order was processed at the clearinghouse on 11/10/18. As indicated on the mailer it takes 6-12 weeks for you to receive the magazine which is the industry standard and not specific to our company. If you would like a refund please let me know. There will be a cancellation fee of $15.00 deducted.Thank you.

On 8-14-2018 I wrote a check to this Publishers Partnership Services for the amount of $109.95.
This was for 50 issues of the *** Magazine. I phoned the number, but only got a recording.
I sent two letters to them asking why the subscription to the magazine has not started.
The last letter, I sent was on Oct.28,2018. I asked for a refund since I had not received any magazines. It had an office number on the form I sent with my check on Aug 14. the number is
107-243-6046
I keep getting 0ffers to order other magazines in the mail from this company. I feel they should honor the subscription that I paid for.
Please look into this for me. I feel this may be a scam.

Publishers Partnership Services Response • Dec 21, 2018

Ms.,As indicated on the mailer the magazine takes 6-12 weeks for delivery and your order was processed at the clearinghouse on 9/3/18. Please let me know if you have started receiving the magazine. If not we can issue you a refund or place the order again and add an additional year at no cost to you. Please let me know what you would like to do.Thank you.

I received a Bill for renewal of my "***" magazine and paid for a year of $29.98 as requested. Then I get another bill stating I owe another $29.97. I wish a refund and I am writing to them asking for it. They advertise in a deceptive way, and are not affiliated with the magazine at all. Other magazine referral sites charge as little as $25.00 for a year. Other people also say on this Revdex.com site that the renewal service is a sham. I am now one of those consumers.

Publishers Partnership Services Response • Dec 20, 2018

Mr.,We received a check for you in the amount of $29.98 for a one year order at a cost of $59.95 per year and show that you have an outstanding balance due of $29.97. As indicated on the mailer you will receive the magazine within 6-12 weeks. If you would like a refund, please be advised that there is a cancellation fee of $15.00. Please let me know how you would like to proceed.Thank you.

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
Regards, the *** As I stated in the original complaint---This is a scam advertisement thru the internet, and the *** mail, that has a lot of complaints with the *** Revdex.com. I ordered a renewal for my magazine "***" that was solicited to me under the guise that it was from the publisher regarding my renewal due soon. I paid what they asked for which is $29.98 for a year renewal, and then I got another bill for $29.97 bringing the yearly renewal rate to $59.95.`This was not shown in there AD. nor was there a posting that if someone canceled there would be a fee of $15. No where was this stated in the Ad. The original complaint was filed on 11-13-18, and as soon as I got the second bill due, I filed a complaint, and wrote to the Partnership Company asking for a refund. They rejected my request. I e-mailed Revdex.com, and faxed them, and sent a copy to the renewal Company that I wanted my money back. They refused. I even tried calling them, and there answering service suggested that a customer should request a refund thru the mail. In that recording there is no mention of a cancellation fee. I sent the Rep, named Lori an e-mail, that I was going to continue with the complaint thru Revdex.com of ***, and mentioned I would pursue legal restitution, post a complaint on the Revdex.com site, contact the fraud division of the ***, the postal service, and the ***. Either they refund the full amount of $29.98, or this will continue with me notifying the Congress person for that district, and the TV station affiliate in *** about there deceptive practices. I am a news person with a lot of connections. Isn't it odd that a person can not connect with a live individual at there address, or phone number. All e-mails that have been written have also been sent via fax to ***-***-***. I even was able to prove that OTHER renewal avenue's only ask for an amount of between $25.00 to $30.00. for a year's subscription to "***".

I received an invoice from PPS I made two payments for a total of 109.95. I then called *** magazine they told me that I handed made any payments. They also said that this company is a fraud. No email address or phone number. This is the first time I’ve had a problem line this ordering a magazine.

I got scammed too. Got what looked like a final notice from PPS that one of my magazine subscriptions was expiring, which it was. However, their statement looked legitimate and I sent them $49.95 to renew for two years. Then I received a real final notice from the magazine. My subscription was never renewed but PPS cashed my check. This was three months ago. I am out $49.95 and no magazine. I should have checked them out sooner.

Dear Char,

Thank you for the email.

Our mailings are legitimate but, they are not invoices, rather they are simply an offer. This can be identified by the bold red lettering on the front of the offer, as well as the thorough explination provided on the back of the offer.

Although it is common for a publisher to take up to 8 weeks in order to process a request, we sincerely apologize and clearly dropped the ball. If you would kindly mail us a letter detailing the specifics of your order we would be happy to provide you with a full refund.

Regards

Customer Response • Jul 19, 2019

I did eventually start receiving the magazine the end of November, even though I paid this in August. Their explanation is that their notice was an offer not an invoice and that it can take up to eight weeks to process a request. While this seems to be true, the notice did look like an invoice and it was not clear that it was an offer that would take a few months to process. Nevertheless I did eventually start receiving the magazine again. PPS did offer to give me a full refund but since I am getting the magazine that is what I wanted. I do appreciate their response.

I sent in request to *** Magazine to renew my subscription. I received invoice from Publishers Partnership Services for $79.98 as partial payment for *** Magazine. I sent this amount in only to receive several notices from *** that my subscription was about to run out. I called *** and told them I had sent in a payment ten days before. I described the invoice. They told me, that wasn't them and they had not received any payment from me. I googled the scam company only to find that the Revdex.com had an alert on it and there were several complaint letters about them. I knew then that I had been scammed. My check had already been cleared. I did however, alert my bank about this being a fraud. They are looking into it. I then received another invoice from the scam company, showing my $79.98 payment and the amount due. I did not, of course pay it. I recently sent in a request to ***, to renew my subscription with them. I received an invoice today, from Publishers Partnership Services requesting payment for $34.98. Partial payment for ***. Unlike the first one, there is a disclaimer on it stating, "This is an offer from an independent Company, not a bill" So they are still sending bogus statements to me because, like the first one this has nothing to do with ***. I have received nothing for the $79.98 they scammed me. It's obviously happened to quite a few ***. How do they stay in business. I feel they have intercepted my mail as how else would they know I had renewed subscriptions to *** and ***. Plus, I did NOT receive an actual invoice from *** who were unaware that I wanted it renewed.

Publishers Partnership Services Response • Dec 20, 2018

Ms.,We received a payment from you in the amount of $79.98 for *** magazine and it was processed at the clearinghouse on 9/26/18. As indicated on the mailer the time it takes for you to receive the magazine is between 6-12 weeks. If you would like a refund, please let me know there will be a fee of $15.00 deducted as a cancellation fee.Thank you.

I purchased a subscription to *** Magazine. I paid them directly for my subscription, which is paid through December of 2021. I am receiving invoices from Publisher Partnership Services for this same subscription. I paid $24.98 for a 2 year subscription, thinking I needed to pay the second half of my subscription. When I continued to receive invoices, I called *** directly, and they have no record of the $24.98 I paid, nor do they know who Publisher Partnership Services are. I called the number to Publishers Partnership Services ***-*** and get a recording. You can't speak to anyone. Is this business fraudulent? Is this a scam? The Revdex.com should look into this. I think they prey on senior citizens and scam them out of money.

Publishers Partnership Services Response • Dec 20, 2018

Ms.,We received your check for $24.98 for an order of 2 years with an outstanding amount due from you of $24.97. As indicated on our mailer we are an independent agency and place our orders with ***. We purchase our mailing lists through a third party and in no way target any age group. If you would like a refund please let me know. There will be a $15.00 cancellation fee plus any issues received. Please let us know what you would like to do.Thank you.

Wish I had thought to check on this company sooner. I too paid a "first installment" to this company for my *** Magazine subscription. When I called *** because this company billed me for my "second installment" which would have then put my total paid to approximately $60 too much, I discovered this company is not associated with ***, and my actual subscription was totally paid up. Obviously I should have looked over the "invoice" more carefully. End result, they have approximately $60 of mine they should not have.

Publishers Partnership Services Response • Jul 16, 2019

Dear ,
Thank you for the email. As you mentioned, we do not send invoices, but, rather send out offers. After reading the short offer thoroughly, it clearly states that in bold red lettering on the front and provides a detailed description on the back of the offer.
While I can understand your frustration, it would be no different than purchasing a car from one dealership only to find out a few weeks later that another dealer down the street sells the same car for a slightly different price. We always recommend that individuals do their homework to ensure they are getting the product they want at the price they expect.
Our company is directly authorized and vetted by the large publication companies to be a contributor to their business and sometimes can not offer the best price in the event they run a large sale or are having additional promotions.
Please send us a letter detailing the specifics of your order and we would be happy to look into it.
Regards

I thought I purchased a magazine subscription with this Company. I wrote 2 checks to this company to receive a subscription to ***, back in March 2018. As of today October 28, 2018, I have yet to receive one issue of the magazine. I would like to receive a full refund of $159.90.
