My father just recently passed away. 96 yrs young and ordered I believe every magazine that is on the market. :)) I have cancelled most with the exception of 4 and by the looks of all of your posts it doesn't look too good that I will get a refund for every time he paid an invoice that came from this company. The other company is reputable (I hope) and will do what they say they will do and refund his money which is quite a bit since he kept over paying. It's a crime that magazine publishers do it the way they do, sending out notices saying Hurry with your payment so your subscription won't be interrupted! Or, every time he would get a magazine the insert would fall out and he would pay that! Heck it's hard enough for me to keep up with it let alone the elderly. Anyway, just wanted to post since I was trying to find contact number for this company and found Revdex.com instead.

Dear Gail,

Our condolences with your fathers recent passing. We agree that it is unfortunate the way some publishers conduct business. Fortunately, we indicate in obvious lettering on the front and provide a detailed description on the back of our offers ensuring that customers know it is an offer and not a bill.

However, with regards to the timeliness of payment to avoid interruption and/or price increases, that is accurate. Publishers change prices often and we want to be able to honor the pricing reflected in the offer.

Please mail us the magazine subscription(s) you would like us to issue refunds for and we would be happy to get that taken care of for you.

Have a great day.

This company offered to deliver *** magazine for $69.95 and took the money but never delivered the magazine so I contacted *** they confirmed that they never received the contract so I got other subscription directly through the

I paid for a subscription to *** for $179 dollars. They cashed my check back around april 9TH and I have yet to receive a single issue

I subscribe to *** book (charged once per year). Publishers Partnership Services keeps sending me what looks like an actual invoice (does state on back that the offer that you received is just an offer and not a bill (SHOULD be stamped on front - NOT A BILL!). This is obviously a scam to me - they send what looks like an Invoice for a *** publication (just not a *** invoice) to *** subscribers hoping to their money! I have returned this 'bill' (no payment!) to PPS and asked that I be removed from this and ANY mailing list they have.

On February 25, 2019 I mailed a check for $89.98 to this company to supposedly renew my subscription to *** Magazine.
I then received another invoice in March for the balance of $89.87 which I sent a check for on March 31, 2019. I have yet to receive
any magazines.

All orders for magazine subscriptions take 4-12 weeks after being process to start arriving to a customers mailbox. Any requests for cancellation during that time will result in a refund less the cancellation fee of 15 dollars as is stated on the back of each subscription offer. If the first issue of a purchased subscription does not arrive before 12 weeks after the processing date, then a full refund will be issued or a request to re-process the desired subscriptionComplaint ***Customer was contacted by email 7/30/19, please find email attached below. The content below contains personal information that should not be shared.________________________________________________________________***-I JUST BECAME AWARE OF A COMPLAINT MADE BY YOU THROUGH THE Revdex.com. APOLOGIES FOR THE DELAY. YOU ORDER FOR 1 YEAR OF *** WAS PROCESSED ON 3/25/19.ORDERS TYPICALLY TAKE 4-12 WEEKS TO MAKE IT TO YOUR MAILBOX.IF YOU STILL ARE NOT RECEIVING PEOPLE MAGAZINE THAT IS AN ERROR AND I CAN ISSUE YOU A FULL REFUND OF 179.95.ANY FUTURE CONCERNS AND REQUESTS CAN BE SENT TO THIS EMAIL.PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW YOU WOULD LIKE TO MOVE FORWARD.

I issued a check to this company to purchase a subscription for *** magazine. *** magazine never received my payment and cancelled my subscription. *** magazine informed me that this company is not authorized by them My check was deposited and is in the amount of $179.95.

This business has incorrect mailing information for me and has been sending my neighbor magazines that I NEVER ORDERED on a monthly basis for almost 2 years. We have written the post office, we have marked "Return to Sender - not at this address", and there is no contact information to actually call someone and be placed on their "DO NOT CONTACT/SOLICIT" list.

I DO NOT want these magazines and my neighbor is infuriated that he has to keep walking over to our house to hand them to us. This has caused conflict with the neighbor that was unnecessary.

I placed a magazine subscription order with this company back in January 25,2019. It was for 2 years of *** Weekly. I still have not received the magazine. It is 12 weeks later. My check was cashed in January for $149.95. When I call the company at ***-***-***, there is an automated message that says to make all complaints in writing. I have written to them twice but still have not received my subscription. I would like my money and for this scam compnay to be put out of business.

Customer Response • May 09, 2019

Hello,I have finally heard back from the company and they have issued me a refund for the magazine that I never received.Thank you

I paid for magazine subscription to *** on October 8, 2018 and they have never sent a single copy yet they cashed the check

Publisher Partnership Services (PPS) sent 2 invoices to my 85 year old mother billing her $179.95 for a 1 year subscription of *** Magazine. Note that PPS is charging 2x the cost of an actual 1 year subscription, which is $89.10. The PPS invoice was billed in 2 installments for $89.97 each. My mother had forgotten that she already paid for a 1 year subscription in August 2018 via *** magazine's online account. Consequently, she wrote a check for $89.97 to PPC and sent it in with the first invoice installment in February. She received the invoice for the second installment with a due date of April 4. Fortunately, she brought the second invoice to my attention before sending another check for $89.97 to PPS. I was able to remind her that her 1 year subscription was paid through August 2019. Thus, PPS fraudulently billed my mother for a subscription that she already has. She wants a full refund of the $89.97 that she paid to PPS.

Ms.,We are in receipt of your complaint regarding your mother’s order placed with us for People magazine. The invoice she received is issued when a customer checks BILL ME LATER on an offer mailing piece sent to them. Otherwise, we do not send out invoices. Your mother will continue to receive *** magazine for the next year until it expires at no cost, a refund for $89.98 will be sent out tomorrow to: Mary ***, *** and she has been removed from our mailing list.Thank you,L B

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because: My mother did NOT check the "bill me later" box. She sent a check for $89 & received another invoice for another$89! She recently received a refund check for $89. Thank you, but you are NOT forgiven for your predatory actions. I urge all victims to contact the WY Attorney General.

Regards

Yes, me too. They kept sending me the bill over and over, until I thought I was gonna loose my mind, so I paid it, thinking that the billing would stop. It didn't. I thought I had paid the real company. I never even realized it was a scam until I received the last issue notice from the magazine. I got the stub out of my filing cabinet and did a search on them, and found everyone else who ended up here... if you call the phone number, you only get an automated recording, even that "sounds" legitimate until you realize you will never speak to a human. I am going to try and "request my refund" since they didn't pay my subscription, but I'm not hopeful I will get anything. What I did do was contact the real magazine business and reported to them what happened, so hopefully they will actually be able to do something about this.

Dear Yvonne,

Thank you for your email.

We are sorry to hear about the issues you have been having. To clarify, the mailings you have been receiving are only offers and are not, in fact, bills as indicated on the front of the offer along with a detailed description located on the back of the offer.

Please send us a letter detailing which offer(s) you had received and which magazines you would like to receive refunds on and we would be happy to assist.

We will also ensure that you are taken off all future mailings.

Regards

I got a bill for the magazine called *** , the total price was 59.95 and said they received 29.98 and the next payment due 04/02/19 is 29.97. I never sent the first payment as I checked with my bank and I dont intend to send the amt they requested ..I THINK this is a scam ..

this business is a scam. we sent them money over 3 months ago for a subscription to a magazine. We have written them with absolutely no response. We have not received anything, and in my correspondence with them I asked for a complete refund since we did not receive anything. You cannot get them on the phone. This is a scam if I ever saw one and I think it may be criminal (using the postal service to defraud people.). Don't know what to do to get my money back.

Received a bill in the mail and thought I was subscribing to magazine for 2 yrs for certain price then received a second bill for the remainder. At that time sent a cancellation request. I have not received any magazines and have not received a refund of the amount I paid ($29.98) I have been scammed for this amount and wish to file a complaint.

I sent a check for $49.95 on 11/20/18 for 12 issues of *** to Publisher's Partnership Services (PPS). The check cleared but I have never received my magazine subscription. I have tried to contact PPS via phone ***-***-*** and only get a recording, never a live person. The recording said it could take up to 12 weeks to receive an issue. I also tried to call *** directly. They said since the check was cleared by PPS I have to deal with them. They only have a recording on their phone # and they have no email/web address for contact. The only course of action is to write a letter via US Mail! I did this on 2/12/19 and said if I didn't get response by 3/1, I would be contacting the Revdex.com.

I ordered a subscription to *** magazine through PPS.
I have no desire to order more magazine subscriptions through PPS.
I have requested in writing to be removed from the mailing list 3 times, and yet continue to get notices in the mail.
I would like to be removed from the mailing list permanently.

In September 2018, I paid Publishers Partership $159.95 for a one year subscription to *** Magazine. I have the cancelled check. I never received the magazines. In January 2019, I sent a letter demanding a refund. I have had no response other than continued solicitation to buy magazines from them.

I keep on getting billed for Publishers Partnership Services. I never ordered this *** Magazine.

I have received for years, and continue to receive, unsolicited invoices or bills for magazine subscriptions that I never had nor contemplated in getting, from Publisher's Partnership Services. I suspect this is an effort to obtain money from me under a false pretense. Had I unthinkingly paid the bill, the money would be lost. This is fraud.

I received a bill from this company for *** Magazine subscription. Last year I paid the bill, not realizing it wasn't a legitimate bill until I got my REAL bill from *** Magazine. I tried to contact this company - Publishers Partnership Services - to get my money back, but no response. I stopped payment on the check, but unfortunately they had already cashed it. I also called *** Magazine and they said this happens where 'imposters' get the magazine subscription information and use it to falsely bill people - they said there was nothing they could do!
I just received another bill from this company which obviously I am not paying, but I want them to stop screwing people!!! Can you help?
