in an attempt to verify his information and credit card. They were requesting proof of residency. In their research they discovered a debt in our customer's name at a different address. The customer’s account was closed because of those issues. The account will not be reopened until the debs is paid in full. I have requested all of the authorizations on his credit card to be removed. This is the response of QVC, Inc. to your letter concerning the complaint filed with your office by our customer.QVC regrets the concerns that our customer has regarding the status of her account. It is our Finance Department's policy to close an account when there is any association to another account that has an Easy Pay debt. That association can be through a shared address or an email that is linked to the person that has a QVC debt. Our Finance Department discovered the association after the television shipped. Although our customer has rejected my response, our position has not changed. QVC conisiders this matter closed.

This is the response of QVC, Inc. ("QVC”) to your letter concerning the complaint filed with your office by QVC’s Customer,QVC records show that a letter was generated to our Customer on March 7, 2015 informing our Customer about the decline on her credit card for the fifth installment of order [redacted]8, for philosophy super-size hope in a jar.
Another letter was generated on April 7, 2015. Since QVC never received a response to the letters our Customers debt was rolled to [redacted]. The full debt that was rolled was the final two installment of $19.82, total amount due $39.64. Our Customer can contact [redacted] to pay the debt at ###-###-####, or she can contact me at ###-###-####, ext. [redacted]. My hours are Monday-Friday 9AM to 5PM Eastern Time.
QVC records show that our Customer was contacted by phone on February 26th and also March 30th requesting Customer to update her credit card expiration date, Since QVC received no response our Customers membership account was sent to collections on April 26th.

Unfortunately, when the order transmitted to the vendor there was no stock to fulfill the order, A back order letter generated on June 9, 2015, to Iet our customer know. Sometimes the inventory is not available although the website still allows our customer to place an order. Our drop ship department notified the vendor to timely let them know when the inventory is not available.The vendor has notified our drop ship department that they are hoping to have inventory in the red by the end of Junc.Although our customer is rejecting my response, I would like to offer him options, Please have our customer call meal ###-###-####, ext, [redacted],Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this inquiry.

I am rejecting this response because: The information is inaccurate.  Once my account is credited in full, I will be happy to change the complaint.  Until this happens, I maintain the [redacted] attempted to hold my monies for an alleged debt that is over 5 years old.  Once I receive the refund, I will be happy to accept the response.

I am rejecting this response because:   As I stated in my last response regarding QVC, I want nothing to do with QVC from this day forward.  I feel they do not stand behind their policies that they broadcast 24 hours  a day.  They DO track your purchases and returns.  If in their opinion your rate of returns is too much, no matter what the reason, they will not hesitate to hassle you by phone, or mail.  This was my experience with QVC.  I  feel this is a very misleading and dishonest business practice.   So I reiterate,  QVC can keep the money.
Let them make the decision to cancel my account as they should have done years ago, if I was such an unacceptable customer for returning goods that did not fit.  If I cancel the card, I take a hit to my credit rating.   Either way, my business relationship with QVC is over.  This file is permanently closed.

I am rejecting this response because:As I mentioned originally it was a gift, their response claims the sender will not know but at the same time it requires an order number. How do I obtain an order number if it was a gift handed to me? I have the qvc box with the qvc item matching their website it retails for 49.95 I just want a refund at this point as I have no desire to do business with this company for making me jump through hoops for something that literally almost sent me to the er. This is less than acceptable. Please send a prepaid label to [redacted] and I will gladly return the item causing the allergic reaction for a refund check. Then this can be considered resolved.

The remaining easy pay installments were cancelled at that time. Our customer would have to be debited for the one computer she states she still has before the PC Treasures she is requesting can be sent.
