Raging Lion misleads customers by advertising a $6.95 shipping fee but then hits you with $119.00 charge.
Raging Lion misleads customers by advertising a free product for only a $6.95 shipping fee and then the company tries to charge you $119. Of course, by this point, my card was flagged for fraud and had to be replaced, so I'm guessing this is why they couldn't steal from me. I didn't even realize there was some sort of "subscription" until after getting the collections agency letter and then coming here to check them out. The $119.97 charge was never mentioned. They neither called me or emailed me before I received the collections letter.

Desired Outcome

I would like them to cease their misleading advertising, call off the collection agency and remove any points against my credit.

The way the trial program works is that the customer pays the price of shipping $(S&H) for the product to be sent out and to try. The bottle that is shipped is an actual 30 day supply with a retail value of $119.97. Once the order is placed the 15/14 day trial period begins. During the 15/14 day trial period if the customer is not satisfied for any reason they can call to cancel. If the customer calls to cancel within the trial period they are given an RMA and are provided with a return address and return instructions and are asked to send back the unused portion and they avoid being billed the full price of that bottle of $119.97. If they do not call to cancel during the trial period they are then billed the full price of $119.97 for that bottle they received and then begin the Autoship program until canceled.

With this situation the customer was charged the initial shipping charge and was sent the bottles and all attempts to bill the customer after the trial were unsuccessful and no returns were ever made. When this occurs this causes the account to be flagged into the collections database as the customer has received the products and still has the products but never canceled or returned the products so a collections call is made as an attempt to recover those funds.

As of now due to the complaint this customer has been removed from the collections database. This customer does not owe anything and has no debt with us whatsoever. No negative impact was made to the customers credit. The customer should be able to confirm that all collection activity will cease in 24-48 hours and if any kind of attempt is made within the 24-48 hour time period of removal from the collections database they are to simply ignore.

We have not received any kind of return however that is not an issue as we would like the customer to keep the bottles as a courtesy in hopes of resolving this in a positive manner.

We apologize if there was any kind of misunderstanding of how the program works. We always want to work together with the customer to rectify any situation and resolve any complaint with a positive outcome. Someone from our senior support team will contact this customer personally to get a better understanding of the situation and how we can improve in the future.

Beware. This company as evidenced by the many, many complaints here engages in fraudulent activity.
Beware. This company as evidenced by the many, many complaints here engages in fraudulent activity.

I attempted to cancel the order within the 15 day period and was not able to reach anyone.

I was charged 119.97 and the reported the fraud to my bank. I just received a collection letter for another 119.97. This is absurd.

I believe this type of fraud by mail is illegal. With the number of complaints here it should be sufficient to pursue legally. Why it continues I don't know but I live in California and intend to file a complaint with the state Attorney General if this isn't rectified.

I want collection to stop and a full refund of the already charged 119.97.

Desired Outcome

I would like all collection activity to cease and it stated clearly that the debt is not owed. I would like a refund of the 119.97 fraudulently charged to my credit card.

TRS al ledges that because I bought the sample I was obligated to accept automatic billing for subsequent products that I never received or agreed to buy..Now I am being charged for products I did not buy plus charges for disputing their claim. The Company attempting to collect the debt is National Medical Administraors, Inc Both companies show the same mailing address on line.

They are charging me for 234$ After 6months from nma collectors for raging lion product I didn't receive
I got an online offer for a free sample for many products to try it for free, I chose raging lion bottle for free sample and I paid for shipping cost for 6.97$... after many months I didn't receive anything and I didn't want to waste my time by following the issue for 7$ so I let it go then a week ago I received a letter from nma collectors about a balance of 119.97$ For raging lion that it was mentioned in the terms if I didn't cancel within 10 days they will charge but how in a free sample advertisement there is such terms . Anyway after I called the nma collectors to settle my balance and dispute it, they refused and they said that I agreed on this terms they are just collectors and the balance is 234$ now.

Desired Outcome

This is not right and not reasonable, i refuse to pay for a fraud that they claim it in their terms that it wasn't mentioned in the offer.... i want the collector to remove any amount that i have to pay And to stop to collect any further amount ... this business is not recognized or accredited by Revdex.com ... please i need to resolve this

I do accept their response because I don't owe them anything anymore and waived the amount... however I didn't receive the product so I can return it and for the future the disclaimer should be more shown or in bold so the customer can be aware of that. Anyway, I appreciate the help of Revdex.com to solve me this problem

I'm being charged by a collection agency for a subscription I've attempted to cancel.
I was recently contacted by a collection agency saying I had a debt with this company. I immediately tried contacting this company to cancel my subscription, but was unable to get in contact with anyone. So I called my bank to stop payments to this company. I had to have a new card issued.

Desired Outcome

I want this collection to be cancelled.

Like everyone else before me I got a collection agency ( who knew a lot about this product and might be part of the same scam) who tried to get $249 from me for a subscription I never asked for, They gave me a phone number for Raging Lion: which Revdex.com says I can't print here. Jeesh.. They were polite but at first blaming me for not getting in touch sooner etc. Finally, the representative agreed to waive the fees and canceled the Fake debt. So it turned out okay but this company is doing some very questionable things.

Raging Lion misleads customers by advertising a free product for only a $6.95 shipping fee and then company is not reachable by phone.
Amazon Prime offered me a free gift after I got an account with Sprint. I chose Raging Lion for the $6.95 shipment fee. The $119.97 charge was not mention. My credit card company alerted me of a $119.97 suspicious transaction several weeks later. In fact, it had to issue me another credit card. I called Raging Lion but I was put on hold or no one would answer. I never received a letter or phone message from Raging Lion. However, early August, National Medical Administrators, INC (a debt collector) sent me a $119.97 balance notification (Creditor Account #XXXXXXX and reference #XXXXXXX). I spoke to the debt collector on 8/27/2020 and they blamed me "for failing to read that there was a trial period." I disputed that since it was not the case. Raging Lion has an F rating from the Revdex.com. I feel very strongly against companies that resort to misleading and false advertising.

Desired Outcome

I would like to have the company dismiss the debt and clear my credit.

I have not ordered anything from this company, have tried dealing with and explaining this but they wont listen. its a total scam that need to be delt
on march 15th 2020 I allegedly received their product, upon them withdrawing 119.97 from my checking's account I called said company only to be told they sent the product and I had to pay for it. I did not nor am I interested in their bogus product. I called explained all this had my bank reverse the charges from them. on July 15 received a letter from a collection department about this account again. However if I want to listen is what I was told they can reduce this debt. Its just a scam that needs dealt with. If I had ordered said product I would gladly pay it but I DID NOT. Now they are threatening to put marks against my credit report that I have worked hard to build. Im so sorry for the company however they have a bad business practice. Since I did not order this product and they cant say for sure it was ever delivered to my adress then please tell me how I have no recourse except to pay them. The collections agency I received letter from is NATIONAL MEDICAL ADMINISTRATION INC, P.O. BOX 924047, NORCROSS GA 30010. Can you please speak to this company

Desired Outcome

I am seeking that this company gets rid of any information they have about me, and this debt of theirs is resolved and no further contact from this company or any of their affiliates.

The way the trial program works is that the customer pays the price of shipping $(S&H) for the product to be sent out and to try. The bottle that is shipped is an actual 30 day supply with a retail value of $119.97. Once the order is placed the 15 day trial period begins. During the 15 day trial period if the customer is not satisfied for any reason they can call to cancel.

With this situation the customer was charged the initial shipping charge and was sent the bottle and all attempts to bill the customer after the trial were unsuccessful and no return was ever made. When this occurs this causes the account to be flagged into the collections database as the customer has received the product and still has the product but never canceled or returned the product so a collections call is made as an attempt to recover those funds.

We have not received any kind of return however that is not an issue as we would like the customer to keep the bottle as a courtesy in hopes of resolving this in a positive manner.

We apologize if there was any kind of misunderstanding of how the program works. We always want to work together with the customer to rectify any situation and resolve any complaint with a positive outcome. Someone from our senior support team will contact this customer personally to get a better understanding of the situation and how we can improve in the future.

On 6/11 ordered to sample products Raging Lion and Alpha Xtrm. Charge on card waas 6.95 and 6.97 by MA company. did not receive product till 6/23 was told had 2 weeks to try it and cancel order. after receipt of product attempt to charge my CC for 297 on 6/26/2020 and was fraud checked by my bank and I refused. called company on 6/29 telling I have not had time and have not even opened product and would like a postage paid RMA to return it. They keep telling me that I could return for x amount and tehn y amount and then I received two RMA for the products saaying return for no charge but no postage paid sticker. I sent email asking for Postage and received an email failer and tried calling the company not able to get thru again.

8/24 received call from Nation Medical admin a collection company asking me for payment of the ***. Made it clear I had RMA and was waaiting for repaid postage to return it. They told me call the company again and talk to them. Never received a letter from the collections giving me an oppourtunity to ask for further information. I do beleive they are not following fair collection act.

called back at 4:30 to the raging lion company spoke to a *** asked many time for a supervisor explained I have open dated RMA and was going to send the product back by my own cost. Then he says it would be an unauthorized return and to call collections. Collection and the company are playing around about games telling me to call the other.

Desired Outcome

I want to return these product at my cost and not be obligated to any other charges. I am not even asking for my 13.92 spent or my return postage at this point. I would also be talking to my bank to let them do an investigation on this companies billing practice..

The Collection company for this company called me back using XX-XXX-XXXX asking me to pay the accoun. which means the resolve posted in this account was not done by the company.

Raging Lion Response • Sep 08, 2020

We would like to update that our senior agent reached out to the customer on 9/3/20 to assure them that the account was in fact removed from the collections database and that also the amount the customer is quoting would not be from us. The customer had mentioned that they understood and that they would update the Revdex.com case. We would like to ask if the customer may be so kind as to update the case as we take complaints very seriously.

Thank you

Customer Response • Sep 14, 2020

This is continued harassment by the collection company I received a call from this morning 9/14 again be told I am still in collections. In addition I final received written correspondence from the agency post marked 9/8 which is suppose to be the date this debt was cleared and removed from the agency. What does it take to clear this up?????

Raging Lion Response • Sep 15, 2020

We would like to update that we have spoken to the Collections Agency directly and have confirmed that the account has now been removed. The customer should be able to confirm that no other collections attempts have been made as of recent confirming that the account was coded for closure.

We would like to thank the customer for allowing us the opportunity to work together towards a positive resolution and also their patience in this matter.

Thank you

We would have been more than happy to have assisted in the cancellation and return/refund options if provided the opportunity.

As per this complaint we have canceled both accounts per the customers request and refunded the last charge that occurred in hopes that we may work together towards a positive resolution.

08/25/2020 12:10pm - Refunded - $129.94 Trans-ID: XXXXXXXXXX

Please allow 3-5 business days for the funds to post back to the account.

We normally ask that the product be returned when issuing a refund however we would like the customer to simply keep the bottle as a courtesy in hopes of resolving this in a positive manner.

Could never reach anyone to cancel the account, or find a way. Had to work with my CC company to get rid of charge.
Did free trial, tried to contact to cancel, would not find a way to cancel. I had to work with my credit card company to get rid of the charge. Now over a year later I get a random call they are now complaining about their payment. I tried to contact, cold not find anything. I am not paying for this product. I see a whole lot of complaints on the web. Figure you stuff out. Get rid of this complaint off my credit whatever it is they need to do. And I want no contact of any and all kind about this issue at all. You want the cash come bust down my door.

Desired Outcome

Do not contact me about anything from any source or any kind of communication.

Suitable outcome with no charges and no impact to my credit. I can return the unused bottle if needed. Thanks

Charging for a product I did not order. Harassing me with calls and reporting me to credit bureau
I believe this problem occurred as a result of my completing an online questionnaire. The deal was that if I complete the questionnaire, I could choose a free gift. I chose to receive Raging Lion. However, I had to pay for shipping. I received a bottle of their useless product. However, some time later I started to receive collection calls. I told them their was a mistake I did not order their product. They insisted that I did order their product and said they were going put me into collections. Now for the past two years I have received calls and mail from multiple collections agencies asking me to pay only $300 of the amount owed. They said they are submitting my name to the Credit Bureau. This whole process is a scam to get your credit card number and sell it to fringe collection agencies.

Desired Outcome

Raging Lion needs to retract their claim I owe any money and notify their collections partners to cease and desist. Additionally, they need to retract any and all adverse credit reporting filed against me.

The answer provided by Raging Lion does align with the request I made of them to stop harassing me and leave my credit alone. Also, your collections people are even calling my elderly mother's cellphone trying to collect this dubious debt. She has no clue who Raging Lion is. How her number was obtained I have no idea but I am sure it was not legal. I believe Raging Lion is treading on very thin legal ice.

Customer Response • Sep 08, 2020

As of today I have received two additional collections calls on this matter, weeks after the promised 48 hr period they would stop. The calls are from NCR. They say Raging Lion has not notified them of anything regarding the mistaken billing. Additionally NCR told me they are sending my information to the credit agencies. I it is disturbing that this agency has my personal information and is basically black mailing for $300. I am concerned these people will sell my information even further to the Grey Market where more fraud can occur.

We would like to communicate to the customer that there might have been a delay in the process of the removal however the account was escalated for removal on 8/25/20.

We would like to assure the customer that no negative impact will be made on their credit history and also that we have reached out directly to the Collections Agency to see what might have caused the delay in the removal process. We would like to again advise the customer to simply ignore any future attempt as we have documented that they have zero debt with us. Again we would like to apologize that the removal process was delayed however nevertheless no negative impact was or will be made. Once we receive confirmation of the removal we will update the customer and the Revdex.com case.

We would like to thank the customer for their patience in this matter.

Thank you

The consumer is made to believe that he is getting a free sample for postage, then is charged $119.97.
There is a free trial of a male testosterone supplement and if you cancel within the time frame, you will be free and clear. However this was in 2018 and I am just now getting collections agencies calling me about an account that was closed 2-3 days late and I have no record of this at all. Even if this were the case, it has been over 2 years and they are just now contacting me about an account that I know nothing about. I never received any notification via E-mail nor traditional USPS mail so there is nothing to show for this.

Desired Outcome

I expect the charges to be removed from my name and all of my information to be removed from the company as well as no more contact from said company and any and all complaints removed from my credit report.
