I am rejecting this response because, as I said to MsS*** from the Executive Customer Relations Department during our call, all it would take to resolve my complaint is for someone from Choice Hotels to go to a Starbucks, purchase a $gift card and send it to meChoice Hotels has spent FAR more in personnel time -- not to mention my numerous telephone conversations with various departments of Choice Hotels -- without solving something that should be incredibly simpleMsS*** even admitted during our telephone conversation that other Choice Hotel customers were experiencing the same problem with non-fulfillment of the "Extra Rewards" advertised through the Choice Privileges programIt is now more than a month since my first stay at a Choice Hotels property and I still have not received the advertised and promised "Extra Reward" which I selectedAll I have is a case number: ***Were I to "accept" this latest communication from Choice Hotels, my complaint would go away and they would have no incentive to fulfill what their advertising promises

I am rejecting this response because:I spoke to Gary on July and was offered $50, then $75, then half of the amount, each time being told "that's the most I can do." He did also call the hotel to see what they were willing but said he got an answering service several times (in the middle of the day.) I requested to have a manager call me backThe next day I did speak with one and I was offered the original differential plus one night at a discounted rate and then the original differential plus a full night refundAgain, this was "the best they could do" both timesI pointed out that not just one, but both of these were not cut and dry issuesI spent hours in these last couple months trying to get the rightful price that was advertised and was called a liar even though I had proof and basically told I don't know how to use a website, even when the "advanced rate" option wasn't availableAlso, the fact at the hotel, the supposed manager came into my room and continued to harass me after I asked him to leave, according to the general manager they logged that I didn't want my room cleaned (which is falsified information) and the fact that the "manager" was willing to let me into a complete strangers room to prove it was occupiedI stand for the full amount refunded.

I am rejecting this response because: I am not disputing the validity of the charge as I clearly stated this was my error My problem is with the way I was treated by management I did not deserve being treated with rudeness and disrespect If this is how your management treats people then I will be choosing a different hotel chain I highly doubt this is the type of person you want representing your company I will make sure through through all avenues available to me to let other potential customers know the type of people who are representing your company As a parent of two girls playing traveling sports I will also make sure or teams look elsewhere for accommodations It saddens me that as a loyal customer in the past that you would defer to rude and disrespectful management
