cheated out of last month service on annual plan
bought several annual/360 day plans - redpocketstore/ebay. First 11 months, no problem, 12th month plan not honored- redpocket cancelled or claimed it was fully used/expired after only 11 months. Ripoff. runaround. May need to sue in small claims to get what was paid for.

We have located and reviewed MrDolfi's accountWe see that he is currently using a 2G handset on our GSMA networkThis network no longer supports 2G services as of 12/31/Text message and email alerts were sent to the customer in the month's prior to this changeMore information on this can be viewed here https://goredpocket.com/3g.0We also see that customer service offered the customer a free phone/device upgrade with their purchase of a pay-as-ytop-upWe see that the twas completed, customer service shipped the upgraded 3G phone, and the phone delivered to the customer's address on 4/The USPS tracking number is [redacted] 28.However, we don't show that the customer has moved their SIM card from the 2G phone to the 3G phoneWe would advise the customer to do this so that they can resume using their servicesManagement attempted to reach the customer on the contact phone number provided in this complaintWe were unable to reach the customer and did not receive a call back

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: When I was on a live chat with the companies customer service I was told that accounts are canceled after days and now I am told that it is daysThis constant inconsistency is what keeps troubling this companyFor instance, my wife has also prepaid data service from this companyShe refilled her data in time but got a text message the next day saying that here data would expire in daysHowever a few minutes after that she got a message that here data was going to expirein dayI experienced the same text message procedure in the pastI understand that Red Pocket will close your account after a certain amount of time of inactivityOther providers do the same, but they allow you to reactivate that account againI cannot understand why Red Pocket does not allow that and why they don't send a text message as a warning a few days before they do close your accountAnyhow I think I deserve a refund of the purchase price of the SIM card because I made an honest effort to have the card refilled on time by ordering an Auto-Refill planThe first month after I ordered it, Red Pocket toke money from my account but didn't refill my dataI had to inform the service desk and spent some time with them to get my acount replenishedThe month after that nothing happenedI had to contact the service desk every month because of problems about the refillAt last I got a little bit tired of it, So I got sloppy with the refill also because the reception in my area is really badI think Red Pocket sold me a not functioning product or service and is entitled to refund me the price of their SIM cardBut if they promise to reactivate my SIM card and fix the auto-refill plan I maybe willing to give them another tryHowever after I used google to find out about experiences from other customers I am not very hopefulI think Revdex.com should reconsider the rating of this company Regards, R [redacted] ***

Complaint: Dear Red Pocket, I appreciate your response to my case I am rejecting this response because for the following reasonsFirst, I don’t have any proof showing me that I have exceeded my minutes for my accountSecondly, I made my payment on March 19, to continue using my data plan for my accountI am requesting to see the total minutes used and the number of calls that I made using your serviceOn March 30, 2015, I was displeased to know that my account was closedAs a faithful customer, I am clueless on how I have overused my data plan for my account within daysAlso, I do not have any technical difficulties using this service if I DON’T exceed my data plan for my accountTherefore, the reason for this cellular phone company’s mistake was unprofessional and an inconvenience to meFor example, I had to travel out of town from North Carolina to Maryland for my business and I could not effectively communicate with my clientsAlso, my mother who lives out of the state was worried causing anxiety in her old age because she could not communicate with me causing emotional damage on our relationshipDuring this terrible ordeal, I had to calm my mother and I lost clients and money for my businessI am demanding that I be compensated for my lost Finally, I was called by a representative from Red Pocket Mobile on April 10, That individual was trying to reach a settlement of compensation with meBut, I refused the offer because my lost was greater that the recommended compensation I strongly believe I deserve more than what he or she recommendedIn conclusion, when I count up the cost of this experience with Red Pocket, I now realize that this phone company price of service is affordable but the quality of service is poor Sincerely, [redacted]
