Complaint Case: XXXXXXXX
RE: [redacted]
Dear Ms. [redacted],
On July 21, 2015, "Reloadit" received a complaint from [redacted] with respect to a Reloadit Pack. ...

"Reloadit" is actually a brand name, not a company. Blackhawk Network California, Inc. is the issuer of the Reloadit Pack.
On July 18, 2015, Ms. [redacted] purchased a Reloadit Pack and associated $200 with the Pack. Her granddaughter attempted to transfer the money on this Pack to a prepaid card via the internet on that same day.
Unfortunately, Ms. [redacted] and he granddaughter appear to have been the victims of a cloned site. Her granddaughter certainly did not go to www.reloadit.com; instead, she went to a site that looked like www.reloadit.com but was not (we have discovered several such sites and continue to contact those sites' hosts to request that the sites be taken down; nevertheless, they keep popping up). We are positive this is the case, because the actual Reloadit site requires every customer to create a safe using their email address. The Pack is then applied to the safe. We were unable to locate a safe associated with Ms. [redacted]'s or a member of her family's email addresses.
When Ms. [redacted]'s granddaughter entered the Pack number on the cloned site, she gave the fraudsters the information they needed to transfer the money on this Pack to a prepaid card they controlled. By the time Ms. [redacted]'s granddaughter realized that the funds were not on her card, the fraudsters had done just that. The funds were loaded to a third party prepaid card on July 18, 2015.
Unfortunately, we cannot provide a refund to Ms. [redacted] because her granddaughter gave the Pack number to a criminal. We suggest that she file a police report regarding this matter. If Ms. [redacted] does pursue this matter with law enforcement, then we will assist them in their efforts to apprehend the perpetrators.
We consider this matter closed. Please, reach out to us with any further questions.

RE: [redacted]
Dear Ms. [redacted],
On November 25, 2015, "Reloadit" received a complaint from [redacted] with respect to applying funds from...

Reloadit Packs via www.reloadit.com. "Reloadit" is actually a brand; not a company. Blackhawk Network California, Inc. operates this website and issues the Reloadit Pack.
On November 20, 2015, Mr. [redacted] purchased two Reloadit Packs and associated $375 to each. Mr. [redacted] successfully loaded both into his Reloadit safe at www.reloadit.com. The safe is a requirement for all Reloadit customers in an effort to safeguard our customers from fraud. Mr. [redacted] was able to load $150 from one of the Packs to his prepaid cards on the date of purchase. Unfortunately, the remaining funds kept reversing back to the Packs and were not accepted by the customer's prepaid company.
We apologize for any inconvenience or delay that Mr. [redacted] experienced. We were able to reach out to his prepaid card company and ensure that the funds were loaded to his card. They confirmed that the Packs were successfully applied on November 25, 2015. That same day, we notified Mr. [redacted] and informed him that his prepaid card's balance reflected the $600 credit.
On November 28, 2015, we received further correspondence from Mr. [redacted]. He stated that he had purchased another Reloadit Pack for $300 and was unable to load it. On November 30, 2015, we reached out to his prepaid card company again and requested that the funds be loaded to his card. That same day, we received confirmation that the Pack was successfully applied to Mr. [redacted]'s prepaid card. Again, we notified Mr. [redacted] that the $300 had been credited to his account.
Accordingly, we consider this matter to be closed. Please reach out to us with any further questions.

RE: [redacted]
Dear Ms. [redacted],
On June 4, 2015, "Reloadit" received a complaint from [redacted] with respect to six Reloadit Packs that he...

purchased as a result of a scam. "Reloadit" is actually a brand, not a company. Blackhawk Network California, Inc is the issuer of the Reloadit Pack.
Unfortunately, Mr. [redacted] was the victim of a very common fraud scheme. Typically, the fraudster will post an ad online featuring a vehicle at a "too good to be true" price. This lures the potential victim. The victim is then provided information which includes the logos of reputable companies. This makes the victim believe that the scam must be legitimate. The victim is then asked to use a cash-like money transfer device. When the victim provides the codes for the device to the fraudster, the fraudster transfers the money to one or more prepaid cards they control (as a result of identity theft) and disappears.
On May 31, 2015, Mr. [redacted] purchased the Reloadit Packs. The next day, Mr. [redacted] provided the PIN numbers from the Packs to the fraudster. The fraudster immediately transferred the funds to prepaid cards and then depleted the cards' balances.
We are sorry that Mr. [redacted] was victimized by this fraud scheme. Unfortunately, we do not have the money that Mr. [redacted] paid to the fraudster. Accordingly, we are unable to provide a refund. We suggest that Mr. [redacted] follow up on the police report he filed. We will assist law enforcement agencies in their efforts to apprehend the perpetrators.
We consider this matter closed. Please, reach out to us with any further questions.

As you can see by Reloadit statement that they know everything about this person scams, they've done nothing to stop it , I did contact the 32 precinct in New York City and reached out to officer [redacted] from my understanding they spoke to him once briefly about the case, they was suppose to get back to him almost two weeks ago and haven't gotten back to [redacted] This is supposed to be the fraud department and they do nothing to protect the consumer that buys the Reloadit cards nor do they cooperate with the police department to catch this scammer, that's why I feel like Reloadit should pay the money back because they did state when I made the complaint that I would be refunded all I needed to send in was the proof.

Dear Ms. [redacted],
On November 4, 2015, "Reloadit" received a second rebuttal from [redacted] in regards to our response to his rebuttal.
We will always work diligently to provide law enforcement with any information that is requested via subpoena. We do request documentation from all customers who are the unfortunate victims of any kind of scam. We will do our best to recover funds whenever this is possible. In this case, the funds were transferred to prepaid cards and depleted immediately so we were unable to do so by the time we were made aware of this fraud scheme.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Going back to there first statement this company is fully aware of this persons constant scamming, so they should have by now had this person arrested, but for some unknown reason they allow this individual to constantly use there product to take advantage of consumers.
they stated the money was gone from the cards that still has nothing to do with getting the police involved, either they want to put a stop to this constant scamming or not, this is what it all boils down to.
But I guess as long as it makes them money this company don't care. What is the purpose of having a so call fraud department if they condone fruad and don't cooperate with Authorities
For these reasons I believe this company should be held responsible for allowing this scammer to use there company for scams.
I also believe if they are held responsible at some level for this situation, they will not allow this to happen again.

"Reloadit" is actually a brand name; not a company. Blackhawk Network California, Inc. is the issuer of the Reloadit Pack.
On June 22, 2015, Mr. [redacted] purchased a Reloadit Pack at 2:46 pm (PT) at a Safeway store in Portland, Oregon.
Unfortunately, Mr. [redacted] appears to have been the victim of a cloned site. He certainly did not go to www.reloadit.com; instead, he went to a site that looked like www.reloadit.com but was not (we have discovered several such sites and continue to contact those sites' hosts to request that the sites be taken down; nevertheless, they keep popping up). We are positive this is the case, because the actual Reloadit site requires every customer to create a safe using their email address. Mr. [redacted] never created a safe. Instead, he was given the option of a "quick load". Unfortunately, our website does not offer this option. The Reloadit safe is the only way in which a Reloadit Pack may be applied to a prepaid card.

On June 30, 2015, Mr. [redacted] purchased a Reloadit Pack as the result of a scam. On July 3, 2015, Mr. [redacted] suspected fraud and contacted customer service. At that time, the funds were still available on the Pack. Unfortunately, a fraudster was able to access the funds prior to us being able to block the Pack from use. In order for us to verify Mr. [redacted] as the purchaser of the Pack, we requested documentation including the proof of purchase. We finally received a copy of the correct receipt on October 21, 2015.
On October 21, 2015, we approved a refund for Mr. [redacted] even though the funds were no longer available. A check for the full amount of the Pack was issued on October 26, 2015. We have not received any further correspondence from Mr. [redacted] which leads us to believe that the refund was received.
Accordingly, we consider this matter closed. Please, reach out to us with any further questions.
Best Regards,

RE: [redacted]
Dear Ms. [redacted],
On July 3, 2015, "Reloadit" received a complaint from [redacted] with respect to applying funds from his Reloadit...

Packs to a prepaid card via the Reloadit Safe on www.reloadit.com. "Reloadit" is actually a brand name; not a company. Blackhawk Network California, Inc. operates this website and issues the Reloadit Pack.
Ms. [redacted] states that she experienced difficulties applying a Reloadit Pack to a prepaid card. All Reloadit customers must create a safe via www.reloadit.com.The safe allows our Reloadit customer to store multiple Packs for future loads and is now a requirement for all Reloadit customers in an effort to safeguard our customers from fraud. For security purposes, there is a waiting period from the time a Reloadit Pack is added to a safe until the customer may apply it to a prepaid card. There is also a card validation period for each new prepaid card that is added to the safe. Currently, the safe is the only method in which a customer may apply the funds from a Reloadit Pack to a prepaid card.
On July 1, 2015, Ms. [redacted] purchased a Reloadit Pack and associated $25.05 to it. On July 4, 2015, the funds were successfully applied to a prepaid card. We apologize for any inconvenience or delay that Ms. [redacted] may have experienced.
Since Ms. [redacted]'s money was successfully transferred from her Reloadit Pack to a prepaid card, we consider this matter to be closed. Please reach out to us with any further questions.
Best Regards,

RE: [redacted]
Dear Ms. [redacted],
On September 4, 2015, "Reloadit" received a complaint from [redacted] with respect to a Reloadit Pack that...

was compromised. Blackhawk Network California, Inc. is the issuer of the Reloadit Pack.
On July 28, 2015, Ms. [redacted] purchased a Reloadit Pack and associated $60 to it. She claims that she purchased the Pack for a friend. Unfortunately, the PIN was compromised and someone else was able to load the Pack to their safe. On August 6, 2015, Ms. [redacted] contacted us and requested access to the Pack. In order to verify Ms. [redacted] as the purchaser of the Pack, we requested documentation. We received this documentation on August 17, 2015. We processed a refund for the full amount of the Pack, since we are unable to remove a Pack from a safe. A check was issued on September 4, 2015. Ms. [redacted] should have received it by now.
Accordingly, we consider this matter closed. Please, reach out to us with any further questions.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I have still not received a check from them and I would like some verification! It is the 21 of September I should have received the check. They said they sent it but as I have not relieved it I would like to know where they sent it and some verification that they defiantly sent it.
