Despite what MrL [redacted] said, the firearm was not functioning properlyFurthermore, the repair center sent the firearm back to me covered in rust (see pictures here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/wkqr9xaajcspbdx/AADVMFj0pTVIyX6AbY1BDYVFa?dl=) I provided these pictures of the rust damage and a verbal description of the continued malfunctions Justin at Remington Customer ServiceI was told by Justin on Tuesday, August that I would be issued a full refund for the defective product, plus all shipping costs and transfer feesHe opened ticket to have UPS pick up the defective product and to have a refund check mailed out to me I will be satisfied if this refund check is indeed mailed out to meHowever, as of this time, I find MrL [redacted] 's response to be entirely inaccurate and unacceptable I will close this case if Remington indeed fulfills their promise to provide me with a refund Thank you, [redacted] Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 14, 2016/09/06) */ From: L [redacted] , John (mailto: [redacted] @remington.com) Sent: Tuesday, September 06, 4:PM To: [redacted] Subject: RE: Revdex.com Complaint Case# [redacted] (Ref# [redacted] ) Mr [redacted] s refund is in the mail It looks like the holiday has delayed USPS but it is on the way Final Consumer Response / [redacted] (2000, 16, 2016/09/13) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

Remington is now stating on the second page "no exceptions" but on the front of the rebate it clearly show "Remington sps RIFLES" no model exclusion beneath it or beside it only states RIFLES which I thought meant the entire line also I received an email from dawn she stated to me that Remington has not offered a rebate for this model in the past five years even thou Remington came out with the model in the 2013/time frame I don't know why Remington is hiding behind the small print I fulfilled my obligations and paid and sent my papers in a timely manner I don't know why there not honoring there end Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 9, 2016/11/01) */ From: L [redacted] , John Sent: Tuesday, November 01, 8:AM To: [redacted] Subject: FW: Revdex.com Complaint Case# [redacted] (Ref# [redacted] ) ***, Mr [redacted] did not purchase a Model SPS rifleHe purchased a Model Long Range rifle which is not part of the rebate Final Consumer Response / [redacted] (4200, 11, 2016/11/02) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Hello Mrs [redacted] If that's Remington arms misleading response it dishonest and misleading attempt to try and confuse someone who they believe is unawareThere is a youtube clip where John Fink Remington rep for the shot shows reviews the new "Remington sps long range" says it verbatim , the url is copied below where he states "Remington sps long range" [redacted] has it advertised as Remington sps long range link also below as well as the retailer clearly advertising the sps long range I have reviews below that state what Remington is clearly misleading and being dishonest about as well as retailers that state the same thing I own two Remington sps long range bought one from grab a gun on the details shows plain as day Remington sps long range and the other one I bought on the order detail shows again on the stores sticker it's a Remington sps riflePlease just honor the rebate it says sps rifles on the rebate form and I bought a sps riflePlease honer the rebate [redacted]

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 6, 2016/01/12) */ We have spoken with Mr [redacted] and have agreed to send him a shotgun stock as goodwill Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (2000, 8, 2016/01/15) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) they offered me a new stock to off set the expence of the new gunwhich I exceptedi was contacted by remington and they satisfied my request

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 6, 2016/11/30) */ From: L [redacted] , John Sent: Wednesday, November 30, 1:PM To: [redacted] Subject: FW: Revdex.com Complaint Case# [redacted] (Ref# [redacted] ) [redacted] We spoke with Mr [redacted] and he has agreed to send his gun into our factory so we can replace his stock Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (2000, 9, 2016/12/01) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) They have indicated that my complaint is what made them look at the design of the stock on this model rifle and found that what I was saying was true and they have initiated a new stock design to correct this problemThey agreed to have me send the Model back to the factory and they will put a new stock on my gunI "assume" this will still be a beautiful BDL stock as the one is now and that all shipping and other cost if any will be paid for by RemingtonThe gentlemen that called me yesterday was very polite and apologized for the length of time it took to agree to warrant this itemI accepted his apology but as a life long business owner I am still very disappointed that the corporate attitude was not more responsive to my legitiment complaintThey should have had me ship the gun to them at my cost and reimbursed me for that cost if and when a defect was found to be trueHe said it could take up to weeks to return the rifle to me and that does not reflect the realization that my complaint took months to resolve and that at years old I am ready to have this gun back in my service sooner than that time lineThank you for your help and have a wonderful Holiday season

Thanks ***, as for Mr [redacted] complaint, I do not have a Jennifer that works for me so my guess is that he spoke with someone at the rebate centerAlso, Mr [redacted] did not provide the confirmation number he said he receivedAs such, I cannot locate him in the system

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2016/07/11) */ From: L [redacted] , John (mailto: [redacted] @remington.com) Sent: Monday, July 11, 10:AM To: [redacted] Subject: FW: Revdex.com Complaint Case# [redacted] (Ref# [redacted] ) ***, According to our records, Mr***'s replacement firearms was delivered to his dealer, [redacted] on June 30th, Here is the tracking number for your records: 1Z44RV83A

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and I accept it As long as they pay in full

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 10, 2015/09/09) */ Mr [redacted] 's order has processed and should ship within the next few days

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 6, 2016/01/13) */ We have been in contact with Mr [redacted] and have agreed to issue a refundWe are waiting on some paperwork from Mr [redacted] and once received we will process the request Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (2000, 8, 2016/01/14) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) I have been contacted by the company but have not received the check as of 1/14/

We have found the information and the rebate center is honoring the request for $Tracking ID [redacted]

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 8, 2015/04/14) */ According to our records the part in question was on backorderThe part came available on 4/and should be shipping out to the Repair Center shortlyWe apologize for any inconvenience Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 10, 2015/04/15) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Their response to me via E-mail is totally different than the above posted response they said via the e-mail that the order for that particular part was made on 3-30-but I had e-mailed the repair shop multiple times and their response is we are waiting for the parts so it appears to me Remington Arms tried to shift blame onto their own repair facilityI was unable to get any satisfactory response from Remington Arms until a complaint was filed with the Revdex.com and suddenly the part has become availableThis shotgun is a very common model with at least several hundred thousand in households so parts are readily available from multiple sourcesRemington Arms had no concern for me as a customer and had I not contacted the Revdex.com I am certain I would still be waitingThe shotgun arrived at pm on 2-18-at [redacted] and I don't for a minute believe that the repair shop waited six weeks to order the part because they are an outside vendor for Remington Arms and cannot get paid until the repair is madeI telephoned and e-mailed Remington Arms several time during the time my home defense gun has been in the shop and even gave them suppliers of repair parts but they did nothing until receipt of my complaint via the Revdex.com>

***, Our rebate center has been trying to work with Mr [redacted] on thisThe rebate center needs to know who Mr [redacted] banks with and a copy of his signature so they can compare it to what is on the checkMost often folks forget they deposit/cash a check or a member of the household deposits/cashes it

***, We are in contact with the consumer to get the parts sent out to him
