Thanks [redacted], as for Mr. [redacted] complaint, I do not have a Jennifer that works for me so my guess is that he spoke with someone at the rebate center. Also, Mr. [redacted] did not provide the confirmation number he said he received. As such, I cannot locate him in the system.

I have waited more than two weeks from the date that the check was supposedly processed (02/16/2016). I have sent several emails to the rebate website regarding the problem. As of 03/02/2016, I have not received the rebate and none of the emails have been answered.

I am rejecting this response because:
As I mentioned in my previous response, I will not be satisfied with a non- matching trigger guard and less than 12-boxes of ammunition.  I compare this proposal to someone hitting your car, repairing the body damage and then painting it a color which does not match which definitely devalues the vehicle.  Offering me 5-boxes of ammunition still does not fairly compensate me for the damage done to my rifle as this ammunition can be purchased retail for ~ $50 per box.  I am also attaching a screen shot of my response to Richard S[redacted] showing that I did not previously accept his offer for 2-boxes of ammunition and my disappointment with Remington as I have have been a loyal customer for years.

Another submission on Tracking ID [redacted] for promotion #[redacted] was received and denied due to invalid UPC's submitted. The Dr [redacted] submitted this rebate under the Black Friday Golden Saber P & R Ammunition rebate but the ammunition purchased was Remington Nitro Steel shotshells. These are not valid for this rebate. From what it looks like the Dr [redacted] submitted the wrong rebate form for the type of ammunition. There was a rebate offered for Remington Nitro Steel shotshells on Promotion # [redacted], not [redacted].

Dear Revdex.com,
I do not recall the promotion code for the Barnes ammunition I purchased, it may be #[redacted] but I suspect it is not. I researched the web and found the promotion I used to send in the rebate for the remington shotshells and as alluded it is promotion #[redacted]. Promotion states and I quote "up to $200 cash back on nitro steel and hypersonic steel". I would be more than happy to fax you a copy of the promotion but it is easily found on the web. There is also a rebate of $10 per box on premier shotgun slug, of which I purchased 3 boxes and received no response in the above statement (to this). I also took pictures of the 2 cases of ammunition and they read Remington nitro steel high velocity magnum loads, again I can text you a picture of this.
Please ask Remington to provide copies of both rebates that I submitted to clarify the situation, I can easily recognize my handwriting and if I made an error I will gladly assume responsibility, however I do not believe that this is the case.

Dear Remington,
Please note that your records are incorrect. You indicated that there were 17 boxes and 3 boxes, actually there were 20 boxes of steel shot (2 cases as eluded to in my initial complaint) and 3 boxes of slugs. This makes me suspect that your records are , in general, inaccurate. It seems pointless to continue to argue a position that I feel will not be resolved in my favor. Moving forward, I have decided to no longer purchase any Remington products. I made the same decision 30 years ago regarding [redacted] and true to this day, have none of their items.

Dear Remington,
Thank you for your understanding and offering to have [redacted] & [redacted] replace the rifle bolt.
I called [redacted] & [redacted] and talked with [redacted], who advised me that they could not do the bolt replacement work, because they have no Remington Model 700 bolt assemblies in stock.
Would you please send me several bolt assemblies to fit my Remington Model 700 7MM Rem Mag order # XXXXX, and I will take them to [redacted] at [redacted] ID XXXXX; telephone # (XXX) XXX-XXXX, who has offered to fit a new bolt with the correct head-spacing.
Please understand, that I have been through so many repair attempts, that I want to avoid any further damage to my rifle, and Mr. [redacted] said if he has several bolts to work with, there is a likelihood one of them would be a drop in fit, with correct head-spacing, without having to reset the rifle barrel.
Could you also please replace the CDL stock, and I will return the one I have with the inletting issues.
Thanks for trying to work something out with me.
You are one of the first, and now maybe one of the last, real genuine American Gun Companies, and this particular rifle is important to me.
I am not asking for another replacement rifle, unless this is what you would prefer to offer; but rather this compromise, and it would mean a lot, if you can please send 2-3 bolt assemblies, and I promise to return the ones not used.

Yes, the business response is satisfactory, if it will result in my receiving a new undamaged rifle. I just spoke with [redacted] at Remington's authorized Repair Center - [redacted] & [redacted], and was told, based on their initial inspection, they will complete their evaluation, and send the rifle into the factory, primarily because of the receiver damage, in addition to the bolt. He indicated when a receiver is damaged like this, the rifle is usually replaced. I do appreciate Remington's concern, to make sure I receive a quality repaired or replacement rifle, reflecting pride of ownership, and as [redacted] said: "not just a rifle set away in a closet". Please thank Mr. [redacted] for all of his efforts, and I look forward to hearing from Remington, regarding the disposition of my rifle.

center advised us that this has happened once before but it was a banking error. The funds are available but it appears the back associate did not properly find the account number. Mr. [redacted]'s check is still valid for a few more days. we recommend that he goes back to the back and advise them of the error. The bank should also refund the $12 fee.
The rebate center want to emphasize that the check never made it to them for processing, meaning there is no way it could have bounced because the bank never requested the funds.

I am really concerned about shooting it again. I’m really concerned about the whole cylinder being tight which is leading to flaring the casing. There’s nice shaving of the bolt action block. I don’t want to agree with Remington in case the cylinder blew and cause harm. If you want me to try, I will; understanding this is a RIFLE that has not worked despite them fixing it once. The shooting range is an hour away and I’ll try it end of this month. [redacted]
