***,
The UPC code Mr*** provided is not valid for this promotionThe
promotion is for the Premier Accutip Centerfire Rifle ammunitionThe rebate center received the UPC for shotgun ammunitionAs a gesture of goodwill we will honor Mr*** request
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 7, 2016/11/21) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
For your records and mine, I retained copies of the promotion and can provide verification upon request that there were no exclusionary statements or clarifications specifying that the promotion applied to center-fire rifle ammunition only as seen in past promotions

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2015/12/11) */
Mr***'s firearm was evaluated by our authorized repair centerThe repair center has determined that a new barrel is neededThe barrel has been ordered but unfortunately it's on backorderAs soon as one is available we will send it to the
repair center to complete their evaluation
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 11, 2015/12/14) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not believe that Remington does not have a inch barrel for one of their most popular shotguns, and if what they say is true, which is unlikely, they as the manufacturer must know exactly when the barrel is going to be manufactured and deliveredSo they will send one to the "repair center" who does not return phone calls for them to send it back to me at some undetermined time in the futureAbsolutely un-acceptableIf they can't fix the gun, they should give me a new gun or a refundThey are perfectly capable of fixing the problem right nowIf they refuse to fix the problem immediately, and there has already been about a two month delay, then I will have to take legal steps in Worcester County Court to get my money backAt this point it seems that that method will be quicker than waiting for them to do something, and from their point of view it will be a lot more expensive than a gun barrel which will suit me just fine

I am rejecting this response because:
I went to *** *** ***, store #*** and ask for my receipt on 11/24/They had it on record but were unable to print it out because of time periodThey can be called I was told by RemingtonAsk for *** *** who is front end manager at register The transaction is ***The store is in Hanover Pa*** and there number to call is ***Thank you

I accept the 5-boxes of ammunition I do continue to feel that Remington is not fairly compensating me for the devaluing of my rifle

***, We spoke with the Service Technician that evaluated Mr***’s firearm and he advised what Mr*** is referring to is from the operation of the firearmBefore the firearm is shipped it is function tested and then sent
to be firedThe marks Mr*** is seeing is a result of the metal on metal contact when the firearm is operatedwear is not covered under our warranty We can take another look at Mr***’s gun if he likes for further evaluationPlease have him call us at *** to obtain return instructions

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 8, 2016/04/12) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
After Filing with the Revdex.com I received
a call from a Remington Customer Service RepBecause of the complaint they looked further into the parts shortage and found out the parts were no longer availableThis would have been nice to know months ago and I believe was only found because of the complaint, but at least we are getting somewhere now
They are supposed to be replacing the firearm, which I was told could take several weeks
We will see

I am rejecting this response because:I provided a receipt showing that I purchased 5- round boxes. Yes it showed I purchased 10- round boxes but they need to honor the 5-round boxes that are on that same receipt. Saying that you threw the receipt and UPC's away is not a valid reason to not honor the rebate. Attached again is the *** receipt

Dear Remington Representative: I ran today to the rangeThe first bullet extracted nicelyThe second bullet casing would not extract after firingI tried times with force without successI left the empty casing basically stuck in and removed the live rounds from the bottomI only used, as I’ve previously mentioned, Remington Core-Lokt gr bullets I didn’t jam a rod down the muzzle to remove the casing which I had to do before. This is the second repair sheet (attached)If you’d like to recheck it for the third time, please send a paid shipping label; I’m not going to waste anymore money on this rifleIf you don’t want to exchange it, please keep itI would never shoot it again; I’m thankful already No accident and No injury to me or my kids. *** ***

The reason is that envelope was
clearly addressed, given to employee of usps at us post office with correct postage amount , with return name and address and I never received a undelivered package back in mail
I have attempted to contact Ms Lemons at Remington five times, left message and she has yet to respond
She requested I resend original receipt, rebate form AND the ten UPC codes off of the ten boxes of ammunition
The ten UPC codes were sent with the initial rebate form !!
I can provide copy of receipt and copy of rebate form only
I am wanting to know if picture of the ammo boxes with UPC codes cut out would suffice
I can not get her to respond
Final Business Response /* (4000, 17, 2016/04/05) */

Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 19, 2016/04/14) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
As per phone conversation with Ms L*** of Remington Arms Co , on 04/05/, she agreed to expedite the release of rebate check of $She stated it would take two weeks maximum and that she would provide me with a tracking number once check is mailedI am expecting notice of such by 04/19/
As per Mr ***, I may reopen my complaint if agreement is not honored by Ms L***, Remington Arms in a timely manner
Thank you

***, Mr*** sent in a rebate for UPC *** * *** *** * *** * *** *** *** *** ***This UPC is not on the rebateIt is for a round pack when the rebate was for round pacts

I am rejecting this response because:
I feel like I am being shafted by both companiesI know they can do better to make this rightIf I am forced to accept the cost of this, remington/*** can count me out as a future customer along with everyone of my fellow military veteran gun enthusiastsI have several firearms from remington/*** and had plans to continue to buy them but after the poor handling of this, once I foot the bill to fix/replace my firearm, I will never buy anything ***/remington again

***,
According to the rebate centers
records Mr*** received a $ammo rebate in 2015, tracking ID ***He cashed the check on 12/17/
We show he has a pending firearm rebate of $under tracking ID ***This rebate was just received and can take weeks to process
If there is another rebate Mr*** will need to provide us with a tracking ID number so we can investigate further
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 8, 2016/12/14) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I am not sure why a rebate mailed on April 23, has "just been received" by Remington in mid December
However, I will take them at their word that they will send me the $rebate check within weeks
I appreciate your help in this matter and in getting the attention of Remington
