Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2016/04/19) */
I'm being told that his check was mailed on 3/14/
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 10, 2016/04/20) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
If check was mailed on 3/and I called on 4/
why was a check not reissued at that timeIt does not take over a month for a letter to be sentAnd since I post marked it on 12/that means it was weeks later they issued the checkWhich means they are saying it took at least a month to get to themI cannot believe that the letter was held by the postal service for over a month on the way to the company and the way backI could understand on one side of the delivery but not bothAnd if that is the case then how does the exact same case happen to a close friend of mineThe issue is that their promised processing time has long since come and gone and I still have no rebate
Final Business Response /* (4000, 18, 2016/05/04) */
The check is out for delivery today, ***
Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 20, 2016/05/06) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
Finally received my rebateIt is bad that it took a complaint with the Revdex.com to get my rebate but I guess at least I got it

***, We contacted the rebate center and they advised us that Ms ***’s rebate submission did not meet the criteriaSee attached rebate formThe firearm was purchased on 12/14/which is outside of the promotion period and the
submission was postmarked 12/16/again outside of the criteria

we repaired the gun and sent it back to the consumer at no charge

***, We have been unable to find Ms***’s information in the databaseWe have also left her some voicemail messages to discuss her situation but have not received a responseFrom what we can see she never sent in a rebate unless
it is under a different name

I am rejecting this response because:Remington did not give me a time line on when I can expect to receive the RebateI should not have to wait another
weeks because Remington made a mistakeIf I can be given a time line and who I can follow up with beside first line Customer Service support I would happy to accept thatThe last time I contacted Customer Service they refused to let me talk with their Supervisor and did not honer their last commitment to reimburse me on Feb 5th, 7-business days.***,I am impressed with Remington responding quickly to you and I appreciate you in helping us to resolve this issueSincerely, ***

***, We had Mr***’s gun sent into our other factory for another evaluation under our warranty, see link below, and by different techniciansThese technicians were not able to find any “gouges” as Mr*** has statedWhat they have found is light markings on the slide where the slide and frame meet at the breech of the gunThese markings are consistent with the operation of this I understand Mr*** is stating he has not fired the firearm but again, the gun is function tested and then shot to make sure it is properly working before it go to a distributor for sale Also, when a gun is sent it in for an evaluation it is again function tested and could be firedWe do ask that Mr*** provide us with the name of a Federal Firearm Licensed Dealer we can contact on his behalf so we can return his gun there for him to pick up. https://www.remington.com/support/firearm-warranty-information

We don't see where he submitted his rebate requestHe need to do that before 12/We suspended the rule for our black Friday promotion
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 12, 2015/12/09) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept
the response from the business.)
First of all which rule was suspended and when? The one purchase per person on the original link, or the one per household after the submission shown on the documentation of submission? As far as the rebate requests I have provided the paperwork directly off of Remington's system for this complaint showing tracking ID XXXXXXX and ID XXXXXXXX proving my wife and mine are valid submissionsI need acknowledgement they have a record of the on-line submissions and not conveniently lost in their system

Initial
Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 8, 2016/02/15) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I received my shotgun back days after filing the complaintDon't know if it was coincidence or if the Revdex.com got them to finish the jobI was able to take apart the shotgun, which I was unable to do prior to sending it in for repairIt appears they fixed the problemI have not shot it yet so I will follow up after that timeI still think days to complete a repair under warranty is unacceptable but I at least have my shotgun back

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and I accept it. The Remington Company has asked for me to fill out a form with my signature and I have sent it I also have sent a letter from my bank indicating that they never received such a check from Remington. My issue with them requesting my signature ( and you deemed their request reasonable) is that I asked them repeatedly in the past to simply send me a copy of the voided check ----which would clarify very easily if I had cashed/deposited the check or not. BUT REMINGTON REFUSED AND SAID THAT THEY HAD NO ACCESS TO THE CHECK. IF THEY HAD NO ACCESS TO THE CHECK, WHY ARE THEY NOW ASKING FOR MY SIGNATURE FOR COMPARISON PURPOSES??? THIS MAKES ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE. DO YOU UNDERSTAND????

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 16, 2015/09/15) */
*** is approved for the $rebateI have let him know that it will take a few weeks for the process and for him to receive the check

The rebate should be fully processed in to weeks
Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 23, 2015/09/29) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

I included my receipt and my UPC's in the shipment. They know that I can't provide those because you have to cut them off of them boxes and mail them in, so now they are saying I have to send them in or I can't get the rebate. Remington has them and they need to provide them, this is just them playing a game with you guys trying to make me look like I did not provide them so they can get out of mailing me any rebate
