I am rejecting this response because:I sent this business a book in perfect condition and they denied my book because there was apparently something wrong with it and there wasn'tI asked for proof of something wrong with the book they said they didn't have it and they wouldn't even send me my book back I would be happy to pay the shipping and handling for the book I sentIt seems like this is a scam because I have done research and it has happened to many othersThey also never even gave me conformation they to the book I had to contact them to even get a conformation they had the bookIT seems like they are scamming me because of these reasonsIt was a book in perfect condition I believe they took it and didn't plan on telling me till I responded to them and they are going to sell my book and make 100% profitI want the money the owe me $94.75, or the exact undamaged book that I sent them

Hello, Our Buyback team has inspected your book, Calculus with Concepts in Calculus, by Ellis, 6th Edition, and found it to be an inauthentic copyThey are investigating the issue however we are unable to return the book since it's an inauthentic copy and should not be in circulation.

I am rejecting this response because:I have an email stating they would return the bookI did not receive the chance to replace the book nor did I receive a full accounting for why the cost of the book is where brand new is $The business has rejected any attempt to work with me, they did not keep their word and send me back my own book (despite two emails agreeing to) nor will they accept me sending them back a book now.This is just a business seeking to make a fast buck as per all complaints on them over the web and they are totally unwilling to work with any of their customers who paid them for a rental (already more than the cost of the book). I have offered to pay $more it and them a brand new book and have received no help - the book was delayed because I was waiting for them to send me back my book as per emails I have copies of

Hello and thank you for contacting us I apologize for the inconvenience There is no evidence to support FedEx ever received your return shipment Our records indicate you did create the prepaid return mailing label, however there is no scan to support they ever took
possession. Your complaint indicates “FedEx can verify that I returned the book to their facility and then they gave it to USPS to deliver to Bookbyte's location” I just spoke with FedEx and they are not even able to initiate a trace since the package was never scanned by them Had they scanned it, the package would have been insured while it was in their possession and we could have updated your rental to satisfied
Regrettably, there is no evidence to support it was shipped If you are able to provide proof from a courier that your rental was received and processed by them, we are more than happy to investigate this further Unfortunately, at this point we are not able to remove your account from collections as you are in default of the rental terms and conditions agreed to at the time the order was placed

The merchant is trying to overcharge for the purchase of a used book at their new book rate.
They sent a used book to me which I agreed to pay for but then realized the merchant fraudulently increased the charge against my credit card with an extra $
surcharge.
The credit card company has been notified of this fraud.
I agreed to the terms of renting the book at the rental rate and was told my rental payment would be applied against the used book purchase cost Not the purchase of a used book fraudulently advertised as a new book.

Our records indicate that this rental was fulfilled by Amazon on their websiteWe are the seller of this item but since it was rented through Amazon.com, the book is shipped by them and the rental return is processed by themSince they process all returns, this means the non-return fee was charged

I am rejecting this response because:I fully understand what ISBN #'s I entered. Your response is not at all helpful because regardless of your policies the correct ISBN for each book that I had was entered. It's on the books  how else would I have entered them in.  If your system didn't take my book in the first place I would have never sent it to you. Which would have actually saved me money because I ended up paying more to send them to you then I got back from you.  Also, you referring to my order update does not help either because if you read my first complaint when I entered my order number into your website to check on the status it literally said "order number does not exist". You never sent any correspondence and then stole my books. Now your trying to get away with it. That's unacceptable.  Horrible customer service and horrendous business.  I will never use your services again.

I am rejecting this response because: the book was NOT damaged and when I asked for proof of dance they sent me pictures of the inside of a random book that looked nothing like the book I sent in. I'm not going to accept this thievery. I know what my book looked like and that is NOT it. There's no way that is my book. Other people have had the same issue. If a business is going to lie to my face like that, I will pursue legal action. I hope your day is as pleasant as you are.
