For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowAlthough my balance is now correct, Navient disputes that it ever double charged me for my loans and they also dispute that it is on my credit report. I was told to mail them a copy of my credit report if I wanted to try to solve the problem. My payment, which Navient set at $is now set for $per month and they do not have an acceptable answer for why it was so low or how it got approved at the first amount.When my balance was incorrect, I was charged interest. I was advised not to make any payments on a loan that listed an incorrect balanceNavient refused to eliminate the accrued interest that accumulated at that time and they told me that they could not help me.

I spoke with a Navient representative from IndianaHe made it clear that I am not paying interest in advance; however, he was not able to explain to me why the extra payement (on top of the monthly interest incurred)He clearly stated that the system was set up in a way that any extra payement I make will not be allocated to the specific loanI have expressed my concern that I am paying about dollars every month which is suppose to cover the monthly interrest and the extra payement I have been making is suppose to lower the principle, not future interestWhat's even more confusing to me is that how is possible I am paying the same amount every month when some of the extra money I am paying is going to future interestI think my biggest concern is that despite making payments on time I have not seen any change in my principleI believe a portion of the payements I have made for the last years ware used as a future interest resulting in the current lower monthly interest of about ( for the past couple of years, I was paying just abouve dollars per month)If part of the extra payment I am making is going to interest, how am I going to pay off this loan? The navient spokeperson insisted on sending me information about my loan, for which I have online accessApart from that he did not answer my questions.Thank you for your response and for your time

I just recieved sallie mae's response in the mailagain, im not going to pay for something if my credit report isnt going to reflect that I amthey never told me that my credit report wasnt going to change even if I payed for it, if they would have I would not have even started paying for iti put a stop payment on all my private loans, and told chase it was fraud, because they lied to memaybe if theyd report everybodys repayments correctly, so their credit would be better, people would actually pay their loans, and sallie mae wouldnt be in such debt to itselfif you have any other questions call the bank, because youre not getting anything else from mei tried doing the right thing and all they did was lie to me, so I got my money back
