termination to the membership. The orders were submitted for inclusion in accordance to the terms and conditions. The termination action is a breach of a contract. As the terms and conditions noted, it was the members responsibility to check your account regularly to ensure that Cash Back has been properly credited and paid and that your account balance is accurate. According to the Term and Conditions, "If you do not believe that Cash Back has been correctly credited to your account you must contact Ebates Customer Service within 90 days of the transaction." This customer did just that. There was no failure to comply with this Program Agreement, and I did not under any circumstances abuse relating to the accrual or receipt of cash back rewards, or provided any misrepresentation of any information furnished to Ebates or its affiliates." Any such inference is a misrepresentation and not a factual matter. Ebates did not make necessary adjustments to accounts that reflected any and all transactions that were returned in within the merchant's return period for buyer's remorse. If a transaction was not redeemable, either the transaction would fall off the account or be reported as 0.00. Transactions that were reported were still recorded but noted that cashback earned was 0.00. A Business representative named [redacted] even confirmed this should have been the process. In researching this claim, I can see that 175 similar complaints have been filed with the Revdex.com for unfair business practices similar to this. I am still requesting my prorated payment as the Business did not offer to remedy.

I don't accept! How did I abuse their referral program? Here is their program from their website as of today, 12/18/2015:
How Our Referral Program Works
Ebates will pay you for every new member you refer to our site who then shops at our partner merchant sites - see "qualified referral" below. While we love them too, pets, minor children and imaginary friends don't qualify, nor do referrals to friends or housemates who don't actually do their own shopping via their own account on Ebates.com.
A "qualified referral" is a new member of Ebates referred by you that signs up at Ebates.com during the referral period starting October 1st, 2015 and ending December 31st, 2015 and that complies with the rules set forth below. If a qualified referral makes purchases totaling $25 or more that earn cash back within one year following signing up, Ebates will pay you a $5 "Base Bonus" for each such qualified referral and you will be eligible for an additional one-time "Tier Bonus" for the referral period based on the total number of such qualified referrals you generate and the Tier Bonus table then in effect. You will receive the highest Tier Bonus for which you qualify in the table above. Your Tier Bonus will be added to your Ebates account at the conclusion of this promotion. In looking into this I do see that we have credited you for this order. On the date of your purchase the rates for pricelines orders were "Up to 10%" though they were "Up to 20%" the day prior so you just missed the doubled rate.The rates are "Up to" due to different reservation...

types earning different cash back rates as shown on our site. The rates were as follows on 11/29.
10% cash back on cruises
4% cash back on hotels
3% cash back on Rental Cars
2.5% cash back on Vacation Packages
$3.00 cash back on flights
 
Since your reservation was a vacation package (Flight and Hotel) you were credited at the rate of 2.5% or $16.13 based on the before taxes and fees price of $645 you paid for this reservation. We apologize for any confusion.
