Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

According to our records [redacted] is scheduled for service on Monday July [redacted].

The final payment was sent to Nissan Motors as agreed, please see attached. Plaza Auto Mall honored all negotiated components of the deal.

We have accommodated [redacted] in all the ways we are able to. We allowed her to exchange her first vehicle for a new one. Her warranty was refunded without issue. The wood trim cannot be refunded as it is installed in the vehicle and cannot be removed.

been resolved because:

YES, I would like to pursue this matter.  Plaza Toyota hasn't offered me a refund.  I spent $50 for a key at Plaza,TOYOTA.  The key could not start the car. I had to get another key done elsewhere for over $90 dollors.  This is not right.

Again, Plaza Honda honored all negotiated components of the deal. We respectfully request that the Revdex.com close this complaint as Information Only.

We apologize for the delay and the inconvenience this has caused you. As of today we have issued a refund back to the [redacted] card ending in [redacted]. You can expect the refund to show on your statement by Friday 10/*/15. Please feel free to contact us if there are any further issues regarding this...

matter.

When [redacted] brought her vehicle to Kia Service, she was told that her [redacted] warranty would not cover the repairs she required. We recommended she return to the independent repair shop where she previously had work done and where her warranty was likely to be effective. She declined to do so...

despite being fully aware of the financial risk she was taking by leaving her car with Plaza Kia Service.  She told us to proceed with the repairs and that she would take up the warranty issue with [redacted] personally. The waiting period the customer experienced was caused by a delay in parts delivery. When we learned that her parts were going to take 6-7 days to be delivered, [redacted] was offered a loaner vehicle. Plaza Kia was prepared to provide her with a loaner at no cost, despite her being out of warranty. However [redacted] could produce no personal credit card or insurance information, which are legally required in order to secure a loaner. Of her own accord she chose to rent a loaner vehicle through an outside rental company under a family member's name. Plaza Kia cannot and will not reimburse for outside rentals.   During the 6-7 days that it took for her parts to arrive, [redacted] continually called a number in our service department that was not active because the employee had been transferred to a different department. We apologize for any inconvenience this caused. Had she called the main line, any and all of her concerns would’ve been addressed and answered.  Ultimately, all of [redacted]' required repairs were completed and her car was fixed. If she wishes to contest her warranty coverage she must take it up with [redacted] directly.

Plaza Hyundai apologizes for the delay and confusion in this matter. Please be advised that the check for $181.66 was sent to Hyundai Motor Finance via [redacted] on 2/*/17.

The total cost of the vehicle [redacted] purchased was $24,739.34 which included taxes and fees. Plaza Toyota repaired all four rims, installed wheel locks and performed NYS inspection at no cost to him.On May [redacted] came to our service department with multiple concerns. An oil...

change was performed and adjusted the tire pressure. [redacted] expressed a transmission concern, he was advised to go to a Dodge Service Department where the repairs would be covered under warranty.

The customer did not cancel her
coverage at Plaza Honda, where the purchase was made. Instead, it was done at
[redacted] and whoever processed it there, noted the money should be sent
to the original dealer, not [redacted], with the customer initialing her
acceptance. ( See...

attached.)  Nothing was done intentionally to delay the
processing of the refund, however, we cannot process ANY customer request for
refund without a written cancellation request. Once we received it from the
customer, on October [redacted], 2015, we immediately sent it to
Hondacare who processed the cancellation correctly. Honda Financial Services
has either already received her refund, or will shortly.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I have absolutely no record of them trying to contact me. How was this done? They have my cell phone number and my email, I received nothing and I haven't seen any gift card in the mail. It's now February **, it doesn't take something 9 days to get from Brooklyn to Manhattan. They are lying just as they lied to me before.

For a special order of this nature, it Plaza Auto Mall’s policy to obtain pre-payment in full. [redacted] came and picked up his vehicle, along with his replacement glass on 10/**/16. He paid in full for the glass and said that he would be having the repairs completed elsewhere. We are unsure of...

what specific resolution he is seeking.

Much of what I am about to say is repetitive, do we just have to keep going back and forth about the same things or can there be some sort of management on your part to stop this?  I have no idea what to even say to this, other than what I said before.  For example: He clearly states that his and his wife's passports either had no pages nor not enough validity for the 10 year visa.  He distinguishes a "work" class visa (which as I stated in my previous email there is no such thing, the Work visa means that he lives in China either temporarily e.g. one year or greater), and the class of visa he got was a business class visa.  The Consulate, not RJR decides both the type and validity of ALL visas, so he is stating a premise which is incorrect.  The fact is he couldn't get a 10 year visa without making the changes to his and his wife's  passports.  So again, where are his losses?  Where did I cost him $500 as he states?  He got a visa and he got new passports, both things he knew up front when he paid us and so no one did anything wrong or misrepresent anything in any way.   He is also referencing a private URL [redacted] like it is the Chinese governments website, and it isn't.  It’s a private visa service just like RJR, so that is pretty weird also.  He presents things like he was asleep when he came in here.   Succinctly, he is quoting a visa service in Los Angeles saying that you only needs 8 months validity and 2 blank vis pages.  The Consulate in Chicago has jurisdiction over Colorado Residents and they require a minimum of 1 year validity for any kind of visa and 2 years for a 10 year visa.  I don’t remember which person didn’t have enough pages or validity but between the both of them neither passport qualified for this visa.  His saying he didn’t need this visa because he was getting a "work" visa indicates he doesn't understand what he is talking about.    So, exhaustingly…  once again, where are his loses?  What authority is he quoting and can you please understand that the word "Work" implies residency and requires taxation etc.  He is a US citizen travelling for business reasons that he would prefer to call work, that’s all.  The tourist visa and the business visa have the same passport requirement and validity.   I can't understand unless he is just looking for someone to pay for his new 10 year passports and visas how he could even be complaining or asking for any kind of financial reimbursement.   I am a member in good standing with the Revdex.com and I expect you to please keep this person from making the same accusations without any responsibility to his own choices and without and due notions of losses.  Is this too much to expect?   Thank you for your role in this, but perhaps this man would prefer a small claims environment rather than the Revdex.com if he is sure he can show evidence of financial losses.   Regards,   [redacted]

[redacted] received his refund check on 6/**/16.

ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]

It is a matter of "They (the dealer) said" and "I (consumer who spent $29K to purchased the vehicle" said".  So there is no ending in here.  As mentioned, if the deal is I will still responsible for the last month payment.  Why would I turn in my Leased vehicle a month (1.5 month to be exact) earlier and rush to get the vehicle??At this point, I do not have any expectation from Plaza at all.  I would hope the posting my complaint online so the future customer is being warned that there must be careful before they sign the contract with Plaza Honda.  And make certain all the deal is listed in detail on the contract before any deposit are made. [redacted]

In [redacted]s case, the diagnostic test indicated a number of repairs that were required in order to pass NY State inspection, totaling $1,770. We performed the majority of them with no issues. However, when testing the transmission we found the fluid was badly burnt with a sludge-like...

consistency. Our service advisor explained to [redacted] that she may need to replace the transmission based on the check engine light code [redacted]. The customer presented an extended warranty: we called the company to place a claim and these repairs were denied. We then offered her a less expensive option – which was flushing the transmission. She accepted this offer.   Normally, flushing and replacing the fluid can improve performance and save the transmission (it cannot cause damage). However, due to the extended length of time [redacted] drove her car in this deteriorated condition, one flush did not restore [redacted]s transmission, so a second flush was performed at no additional charge. After the second flush, [redacted] was advised to drive 50-100 miles in order to reset the vehicle’s internal monitor and to pass NY state inspection. Within the week, her check engine light reappeared. Another diagnostic test was performed and the same code - [redacted] - reappeared. Likely as a result of how long [redacted] drove her car with burnt  transmission fluid, no amount of flushes will be successful. The only repair option available now is to replace the transmission.   We had hoped to save [redacted] the large expense of replacing her transmission, but unfortunately it was impossible. We offered [redacted] a severely discounted price to replace her transmission, in order to offset the original costs of having it flushed ($200 of the $1,770 she paid) as well as to get her back on the road at a price she could afford. Our offer still stands. If [redacted] is interested in having her transmission replaced, she may contact us directly or via the Revdex.com.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We are unsure of what resolution the customer is seeking. The part has been replaced.
