This company reached out to me via cell phone and left no voice message. They immediately hung up and called my place of employment to verify employment and just happened to get through to my extension. When questioned on the reason for the call, I was specifically told that they have no knowledge of why they are calling and that I would have to log onto the website and use a personal code to find out what was going on. However, when attempting to log onto the website from both my work computer and my mobile phone, they required me to register an IP to obtain information. I am not, nor will I, provide this information. If a company calls you, they should know why they are calling and be able to tell you why they are calling. It appears that this is a pattern with this company yet no one is doing anything about it. I demand to know what is going on and I expect the Revdex.com to protect me as a consumer. I'm aware that I owe debts but I have had the same cell phone number for 26 years so it isn't like I'm hiding. I have voice mail and I have worked at the same place for 10 years so, again, not hiding and not hard to find. Please address this immediately.

They are constantly calling my employer and asking to verify my information. I answer the phones and asked who and what they were calling about. I have asked them not to call my employer. They gave me another number to call and when I call, I cannot get an answer. They called back again today and again refused to answer any of my questions.

This company has called my employer and, like many other complaints here, wanted to verify my employment but would not give a reason why. I haven't applied for anything that would require employment verification. When questioned, the woman on the phone said she couldn't give out that information and would not tell me why she needed this information. WHAT? She kept trying to ask me questions and talking over me because I wouldn't give her what she wanted. I WILL NOT give out my personal information unless and until I know EXACTLY why it's requested. If you can't provide that, move along and don't call me anymore!

This business has repeatedly contacted my employer to verify my employment and SSN, and when called upon to explain why this information is needed, no answer is forthcoming. I've called the numbers provided, and the call is either not answered, or sent to voicemail. Messages left are not replied to. If someone needs to verify this information, why hire a 3rd party agency to do so? This makes no sense.

I have no idea why this company is contacting my place of employment, I haven't signed a consent form allowing verification of any kind. My employer was very upset, we could barely understand the voicemail left, he returned the call and left a voicemail wanting to know the reason for the call. Having this company call like this is jeopardizing my employment.

My employer received a random fax from this company asking to verify my employment. I do not know what this is for, I have not applied for an job or loan where this would be needed. I tried to reach out to this company to ask them what this was for and they could not tell me. Told me to send an email which I did and I have not received a reply.

I received a call from Danielle stating she was with RNN Group, and needed to verify that I was employed with my current employer.
The only thing she stated is that they were calling to verify my employment for a financial institution and gave me a reference number of *** and to go to their website at www.rnngroup.com and send them an email.
I want to know what financial institution is wanting my employment verification, and then no further contact

Could not explain who or why they had my info
When *** called saying he was with the RNN Group and was calling to verify my employment I told them I could not give then any info and they said they had her (My) SS# and my D.O.B My Name so I then asked him why he needed to verify her employment and he just kept saying he was a 3rd party employment verification. so I then informed him I was her and I wanted to know why he had my social date of birth and name and who he was trying to verify it for which he still could not answer just said I had to call RNN group which I have called 5 different numbers and none of then has a person answer you can push 0 for the operator but still get a recording. no matter what button you push or number you call you still get a recording. and im sure as they did all the other responses they will respond with you need to contact RNN Group um yep tried that I believe this is just another elaborate scam and will not be answering any more questions and will not try to call again.. as I have not applied for filled out refinanced or anything else to do with any financial institute thanks for your time.

I have tried every number listed on the website and found online always a recording. and you still are not answering the question as to for who and why you are trying to verify any income as far as im concerned I have no business with you I have no loans I have not applied for any there for you do not need to verify anything and by law when asked why and for who you you re trying to verify and since you are telling me you have sensitive information about me you should answer my questions which you guys evade by saying we are a 3rd party verification blah blah blah and still do not answer the question as to who wants to know and has my info . so quite HARASSING me at any phone number you may have now or in the future.

I received an email asking me to verify employment. It had an employee's name and social security number in the email. It listed no reason for employment verification. I gave them several calls to see what it was all about, getting a "user busy" message each time I put in the contact's extension. When I did get a person on the phone, she stated that they were hired by financial institutions to collect information. She did not say what financial institution, and this is certainly not how our local bank does business. It's incredibly scary that they had personal information. I'd like to know which institution they received it from (if any, I seriously doubt it) and what the reason was for verification. Our policy is to never disclose employee info without employee permission, and we absolutely will not share private information with third parties. I made it clear that we were not to be contacted again.

I understand this explanation, but feel that the RNN Group should identify their clients that they are collecting info for. Until this is put into practice, I and others will not feel comfortable responding to their requests.

As other have stated this company calls and states verifying my employment for a third party. They can not tell me who is requesting this verification. I refused to give them any information and it seems that this is a repeated issue from several other parties involved. Someone should be investigating these people

I asked who they are and what they are calling for, the person I spoke with was extremely vague and could not answer my questions, instead transferred to voicemail. Wen I tried to call them back it states that their lines are busy. I find that to be extremely shady and invasive.

They called the place where I work looking for employment verification. Said they were a financial institute. I have not applied for any loans.
Date of call August 2, 2018....they have called my place of employment multiple times over the last couple days looking to verify my employment. I have not tried to get a loan or refinance my home (and neither has my husband). They refused to tell me anything other than they were a financial institute unless I verified the last four digits of my social security number. I refused to do that, so they would not tell me anything more. They also would not tell my boss the details of why there were calling. The woman who called sounded like she was located in and Asian country. She was very difficult to understand.
