This company just called my employer asking for employment status, full or part time, and phone number. I have no idea why.

This guy has called my personal cell phone repeatedly to "verify employment" on my wife who is a managing partner of her own business. He will not divulge why he needs personal information on her. He attempted to lure her to a website to enter more personal information about herself and her finances. He knew her social security number and some other details about her. He had a thick foreign accent yet calls himself "John D". This guy is a fraud and needs to be shut down. This is a total scam. Alert the authorities in Atlanta GA when he calls.

THIS COMPANY HAS BEEN CONTACTING MY EMPLOYER REGARDING MY EMPLOYMENT. THERE IS NO REASON WHY THEY SHOULD BE DOING SO. I HAVE NOT APPLIED FOR ANY CREDIT CARDS OR BANK LOANS ETC. THAT WOULD WARRANT THIS. I CALLED THE COMPANY AND SPOKE TO A FERNANDO AT 470-205-4014 EXT. 808. HE WOULD TELL ME NOTHING ABOUT WHY THEY WERE TRYING TO GET THIS INFORMATION UNLESS I GAVE HIM MY PERSONAL INFORMATION FIRST.

This company is calling my employer to verify my employment. I have not tried to get credit from any company that this would need to be happening. They are a scam in trying to get your SS #.

This company has called my current place of employment and has been harassing my front desk person. They have tried to verify that I have full employment and the last four digits of my social security. I finally got to speak to them. They wanted to confirm who I was and the last four digits of my social security number. I asked them why and they said they would give me the company they are contracted for if I confirmed my last for digits of social security number. I told them I won't confirm the information they wanted and if they wanted to communicate with me, they could email me or call my cellphone. They said ok, and I have not received anything from them.
My biggest concern was they never told me why they needed this information and for whom.

This company has faxed several 'employment verifications? to my employer asking for personal information to be verified. I have never heard of this company. I have not received anything on the mail about this company. They have continued to fax the same thing to my employer about verification that they don't need because I don't know who they are.

Has been calling my place of employment 8-10 times per day stating looking for employment verification and will not disclose to what manner. Is also faxing numerous requests at the same time as they are calling. They have been told they are not to contact this number or business any longer several times and continue to.

This company continually calls my place of employment trying to get more information on myself. When they are questioned by HR they don't have any sort of reason for inquiring.

I am satisfied with this matter
I recently had a judgement placed on me for wage garnishment by a midland collection agency. They filed a request for wage garnishment at my place of employeement. Before I was notified via certified mail of this intended action, I was contacted by the RNN Group (rep samantha cruz) attempting to verify my employment. The representative said they were unable to tell me why they were contacting me asking very personal questions. (Birthdate, last 4 of ssn, title) I immediately resolved the delinquent bill and inquired if the RNN Group was affiliated with them in any manner. The collection said that they deal with collections with a in house legal team and that the RNN Group was not affiliated in any manner. I believe the company acquired my info through public records but I don't know why they want to obtain this information. The RNN Group representative told me no managers/owners were available to further the inquiry. This feels incredibly predatory in nature and the fact they harassed me at my place of employment after asking them not to call again makes me believe their actions to be unethical and potentially illegal.

The RNN group is sending fax numbers to a business with the last 4 digits of my SS# asking for verification. This is a violation of my privacy and I demand a cease and desist happen immediately. I will be moving forward with legal action.

RNN group has sent over a verification of employment to my employer both by phone call, fax and by email giving out personal information, the last four digits of my social security number. I called and tried to find out why they were requesting this as I do not owe anyone any money, I have not applied for any loans and I have also not applied for any jobs. They will not give me any information over the phone. I was instructed to go to www.rnngroup.com and put in the seven digit reference code to obtain who was requesting this information because they are a third party verification and can't give out what client is requesting this information. Once I got to their website, there is not a place anywhere to input this reference code. This is a scam, if they are trying to get information for any client that is trying to collect money, anything owed is not correct and statue of limitations is up in my state. I do not owe anyone any money, they need to quite calling, emailing and faxing my employer.

Why do you have some of my social security number? who gave this information to you?
I am reaching out to sincerely apologize for your experience with RNN Group and to let you know, that after reading your experience, have personally updated our processes and controls.
The RNN Service:
RNN only provides a service to our financial lender clients based on their permissible permission to verify employment status. Our clients upload consumer information and an employer name, and only contracts with RNN to contact the employer to confirm if still the consumer is currently employed. Please know we are not collectors and do not collect payroll information. Additionally, we have no access or visibility to your account with our client.
It is critical that you receive the name of our client as quickly and easily as possible, upon your request, and that our representatives do not make so many multiple attempts to verify if you are employed, so I have updated our processes.
Moving forward:
1.our representatives will not be able to make unlimited attempts - sending fax, email or phone calls on the same consumer.
2. I have updated our polices and procedures so that you now have multiple ways to access our client data- faster.
Updated Consumer Service:
I have updated our policy to provide you faster and more options to access the client requesting us to confirm your employment.
Options for accessing our client data for your account (note the 7-digit ID # is to confirm you are the correct individual we are calling on, so that we can provide the client information.

3. You can call our verification line to be transferred to a manager (XXX-XXX-XXXX) and/or
4. Email our compliance team directly ***@rnngroup.com.
Lastly, please note we have identified many consumers in need of help to stop law firms and agencies from "chasing" them, and I am working on a solution that will cancel out all collection efforts on their account. I expect to roll out this consumer help product and service in June. Please know I built our current model and as a result am now dedicated to building several products, including paying off student loan debt with the purchases you make in everyday life and setting up payment plans online that immediately prohibit collection calls and law firms searching for your asset or payroll information.

I am not sure how this company received my information. They keep contacting my employer with out my consent to verify my employment. When I called the company myself to inquire about who they are, the person in charge of "my account" refused to give any information and insisted on me verifying who I was and my employment.

This company keeps contacting my employer via phone and fax demanding personal information about me. I have tried to call them and never get a response. I have no relationship with this company and do not know why they would be contacting my employer.

I do not know this company, yet they have repeatedly called my place of employment and harassed the HR person for information. They do not say the reason they are calling but are constantly inquiring about me and my job. Needless to say this has caused issues as I am being questioned by my HR department and looked at in a negative way, despite the fact that I have no idea what this company is. I want it STOPPED. I will also be contacting the GA police department with a harassment claim and my HR department will be doing the same as they call multiple times in one day. Ridiculous!

This RNN Group is contacting my place of employment for 'income verification '. They are asking for me by my maiden name. I have not been *** for many years so if they have a collection of some sort, it is seriously out of collection date range. They was told once today that *** does not work there and they called back a second time asking the same dn questions. Again, they was told that no one by that name works there.
