I dont know who these people are but looks like im not the only one this has happened to. they need to cease and desist all contact with any employer listed past or present or a suit will be filed.

This company contacted my job to verify my employment. They should not be harassing me at my place of employment. I do not know who they are and why they are contacting my employer. Why do they need my personal information? I have never heard of this company nor do I have any idea what they do. I want them to stop contacting me and contacting my employer.

Sent a fax to my job asking for employment verification WITHOUT my permission! Had personal information on it including my social security #. Also called my job to ask about it. Luckily my HR Manager was too smart to fall for this FALSE REQUEST! They also asked for my companies payroll company and the company FEIN #. WRONG WRONG WRONG!!!

RNN Group contacted me at my place of employment and requested to verify my employment status and social security number. When asked what the call pertained to, the representative would only state it was for the financial institution.

I just received a call from my former employer that a number had called and asked for additional personal information as well as employment verification. They have personal information about me as well that I have not consented to and have given it out to someone at my former employer.

My place of employment has been contacted multiple times by this agency RNN Group to verify my employment. I have no business with this company- They somehow have gained by social security number. There is no reason any agency should need to verify my employment.

This company is calling and asking for info about me, and they are using the last 4 digits of my s.s. number. They have faxed info also and are using a maiden name from 20 years ago.

RNN Group continously is contacting my my office to verify my employment. And will not leave a voicemail. My HR rep said the kept on calling without leaving a voicemail And when she asked what this was in regards to they did not give any answer. They had private information and they could not explain. She politely asked them to stop calling.

This company is calling family members, employer and my personal phone, asking for personal information, making outrageous threats of arresting me, stating there is an open criminal case against me, claiming they have "paper work to serve", that refusal to talk to them will lead to them coming to my home or employment with police. They are asking for a name I haven't used or been known by for 23 years, they are asking for my DOB and SS #, they REFUSE to state who they represent or why they are calling other than to threaten and harass. I do NOT owe any debts, I have NO Judgments against me and if they do have a debt supposedly owed by me it would be past the statute of limitations for collection. I have a Bankruptcy filed in 2004 that eliminated ANY and ALL debt prior to that date and have NOT been delinquent or let one single payment or debt go unpaid for the past 15 years. I demand that this company NO longer contact me, my family members, my acquaintances, my previous or present employers, they NOT mail, email, fax or have any other type of correspondence or communication with me, or ANYONE regarding me. The threats have been recorded and they are in violation of FDCPA any further contact this is a formal Cease and Desist if ANYONE from RNN Group, their affiliates or other 3rd party attempts to contact anyone and uses my name, discloses my SS# or a portion of that Number and/or my DOB or a portion of my DOB, address, previous or current, my name now or any former name I will pursue all LEGAL ACTIONS at my Disposal. I have recordings from phone numbers that match to this company their denial is not believable, they have contacted my family and myself stating they have documents to "serve" if they don't receive a call back they will send sheriff or other law enforcement to my home or employer to arrest me on criminal charges. They have called my ex husband divorced in 1990, my elderly father causing him distress, my employer and my children's phones. Thankfully I keep their voicemails. This company has repeated complaints from others for using the same tactics. I will pursue this with the AG of their state and mine. I would suggest they reign in their employees and change the prerecorded threats they leave on voicemails. On advice of my attorney I saved the recordings with the originating phone # the fact their employees introduce themselves as investigators, state they have paperwork to substantiate their claims and refer to the case as a "criminal" complaint attached to my SS #. Considering I work in the legal field and have passed background checks, have full access to Court records where there are NO actions pending against me as claimed proves their "claims" are NOT based in facts and are an attempt to harass me, my family, my employer & damage my reputation with baseless, false and threatening claims of pending litigation. Thank you to Revdex.com I now have their written claim of denial to include with my submission of evidence that their number is used for purposes of harassment a and their refusal to Cease and Desist to the Attorney General of Georgia & my home state where the calls and recordings of threats have been made. Not that I expected them to admit their illegal actions but their denial and false claim of internal investigation with an attempt to scare the complainer with their language of "recourse" actually shows their tactics are designed to scare off those that complain about their illegal phone calls & threats. I will also be contacting news outlets that run specials exposing these types of business practices in hopes of getting these type of companies exposed so that others are aware this type of harassment & bully tactics are illegal & should be reported. In addition to using misleading language they also fail to disclose that they are attempting to collect a debt, in my case I don't owe a debt, but failure to disclose their intentions and making up claim of criminal complaint is designed to scare and mislead the call recipient. Hello, I would like to make it clear all of your accusations are false or not related to RNN Group. We are not in the business to contact consumers.
We feel you have the wrong company.
RNN Group is an INC Fastest Growing Company, in business for 7 years. We provide employment verification services where as our customers upload consumer ID and employer information to us, and we are contracted only to contact the employer to confirm if the consumer is still currently and actively employed. Note we do not request payroll information, simply a yes or no for our clients.
Our representatives are trained to contact employer HR or Payroll up to 3 attempts and are provided the consumer information (SSN and DOB) in which to verify and assure we have the correct person and 2) the employer information in which to contact.
Our representatives are provided the consumer and employer information and set up in a secure system to make up to 3 attempts to verify employment.
They work from an approved script and we listen to approx. 25% of their recordings each night to make sure they are professional.
For your security, we do not provide our agents access to our client name. In the event the consumer wants the name of the customer in which we are calling on behalf of, our agents process:
1. Confirm you are the consumer in scope
2. Provide you an ID Number from our system to access your account (see options for accessing our client name on your account below

SOMEONE called my office trying to get my office manager to give out my personal information. They had the wrong address and wanted my office manager to give them the correct information. When my office manager question who they are and why they were phishing, they refused to give her the information. I have no idea who this is.

The RNN group is sending fax numbers to a business with the last 4 digits of my SS# asking for verification. Which is more puzzling is that I do not even work there. I did 14 years ago! This is a violation of my privacy and I demand a cease and desist happen immediately. I will be moving forward with legal action if need be!

The RNN group is sending faxes to my former employer with the last 4 digits of my SS# asking for verification, how many hours I worked, employer number, company payroll address, company FEIN number. I do not appreciate them faxing paper work to the business with my last 4 digits of my social number that is visible to everyone, this is a violation of my privacy and I will be moving forward with legal action.

Are calling my employer wanting to verify employment. Then want to verify my date of birth or SS#. When asked who they are trying to verify employment for they can not answer this question. They gave me a reference number but are unable to give me a number to call to get any more information. There are too many scams going around for me to verify any of my personal information without knowing who it is for.

This company keeps calling and faxing my employer for verification of employment. They will not stop and it is causing problems at my place of employment. They can not give a reason as to why they need to verify, just keep insisting they need to verify. This is not legit and harassing.
