on April 22,I went into the TCF bank on [redacted] in chicago illinois,I told the teller that I wanted to removed my mom from my account he than stated that the other person had to be deceased,for which months later all my money was withdrawn from my account,now I am not disputing the fact that the other person had excess just as well as I did ,I am disputing the fact that the teller also could have stated all I have to do is close the account completely and that would have removed my mom from the account and reopen up a new one which would not have led to the withdrawal in August to happen,tcf is constantly brushing me off for what their employee failed to do that cause all my funds to be withdrawn which could have very much so been avoided had he did his job the correct way instead of being lazy to do the paper work it cost me everything I had in that bank,I feel that TCF Bank is liable for their employee and all of my money should be given back to me with an writ

TCF accepted a check dated 9-01-from a [redacted] ! He is estranged son who, stayed with me for short time! He had his VA check mailed at my home address of [redacted] and, signed and, deposited his check without my permission or signature! I am elderly women of seventy three years old and, I have suffered two two strokes within several years! TCF bank should of never accepted the check based on the fact that, it does not have my name on the check nor, my signature! I really need them to push the protest through back to the treasury as they stated they will do sooner than, later! I have no way to pay my bills! I have a dispute with tcf bank that was denied twice saying I was aware of someone having access to my account which I was not aware of. My husband lost his card and someone was able to find out his pin number which was his birthday. They stole my money plus tried to deposit bogus checks. He immediately called to file a report as soon as we was aware of the activities on the account. I filed a police report and TCF Bank is still not willing to reimburse me of my stolen money. I tried to contact their dispute investigators but was told that department does not speak to customers. I was told to file a third reevaluation But it's going on 3 weeks since I did the original dispute. I feel TCF is not doing their investigation correctly and doesn't want to resolve this issue by denying my reimbursement for the second time and having me file to reopen the case for a third review.

When I signed up years ago my overdraft policy was 28$ per day not 37$ per transaction I keep this account at a very low balance for specific reasons The bank changed my overdraft policy to 37$ per transaction This caused many overdraft fees about The online banking website was also changed and made it more difficult to read the balance of my account While objects were in pending state they would charge me overdraft fees I spoke with the managers and they sent me to telephone customer service, when I spoke to Customer Service they would send me to the branch manager When I went to close the account I get a whole other run around They basically make you jump through hoops to close out as well

Last month I wrote a check for 10,dollarsThe bank misread the comma and took out 19,dollars, even though in the line on the check where you write out the number, it said "ten thousand dollars." When I called the bank on Friday, I was told it would take business days to respond to my inquiry
This is outrageous, 9,dollars is missing from my account, and I have bills to pay
The employee I spoke to admitted that it was very clearly their mistake
Can they really do this to me?
