Well I flew back in on tuesday I went to go cash my check and it was a $check and they froze my account because they felt like my check was a fake check but in reality the check was a real check and they froze my whole account even the money that had been cleared I’m trying to at least get access to the funds that are available

I have been banking with TCF bank for a year nowI have never had an issue with a disputeI lost my bank card and I called them when I discovered it was lost to have it reported and dispute unknown transactionsTCF had over $in overdraft fees on my account and I had a lot of bogus charges that I didn’t authorize My dispute was denied saying that I used the pin and there wasn’t any invalid attemptsFirst of all they can’t accuse me of using the cardI’ve never had a dispute with them and I am not going to lie over nothing this seriousSo basically after calling me a liar nothing was doneThere are lots of scams out here and people are obtaining PIN numbers card numbers whatever but they want to falsely accuse me of using my cardI am so dissatisfied with this bank and their unprofessional ways

On July 3rd called in and file a claim on my account totaling $file number *** with TCF bank, I called in on several occasions to check the status of the claim not once did anyone say send in supporting documentationOn July , I was told the claim was denied for customer benefit! I am trying to figure how when I was in the hospital at the time of the charges one of the charges were for ATM withdrawal of $240.00, how can I be in two places at the same timeDid they pull camera video of the ATM transaction how did they really come up with the decision was my signature correct on any of the other charges? Than you deny my claim and tell me I have to reopen the claim and wait another ten days so now it will be almost 20-days without My fundsNo one has answers they just transfer you to several different people the claims department is a group of people that you can't physically talk to, its very frustrating dealing with TCF bank as they let your money be taken and than

I've tried, unsuccessfully, to request expedited service for a payoff letter on a home equity loanFollowing TCF policy, I submitted my request on a form that says: "***Turnaround time - business days***" Not only was my request ignored, TCF's incompetence could affect my ability to close on two propertiesMy submission was sent to/received by TCF one week ago, 5/5/16, today and my buyers' attorney still doesn't have the payoff letter today 5/12/
The TCF customer service experience is awfulThey seemingly have no way to connect customer conversation historyEven after I mentioned to today's TCF rep that I had the same exact conversation *yesterday* with another TCF customer service repand have called the bank several times to follow up on my request for this letter, the rep still had me email the original fax to prove that it was sent/receivedShe was not willing to follow up with me to indicate when the fax of the letter is sent and said I'd have to call back if the lawyer doesn't receive it
Since submitting the letter, I've talked to at least four customer service reps and left a voice mail with their supervisor on week agoI have not received a call back from the supervisorAgain, my initial interest was trying to expedite delivery, but forget about shortening three business days or even fiveThis customer service and fulfillment group is understaffed at the expense of customers
After this is done, I will never bank here again

I deposited a check into my bank, the TCF located inside jewel store on grand aveand York rdin bensenville, ILI was told by the assistant manager, that he could deposit the check and withdraw $dollars for me to have availableI agreed, and he proceeded to process the depositUpon processing the deposit, he told me not only was he able to take the $out but the bank itself had made an additional $available aswellStating I would now have $1,available immediately, and the remainder of my check would clear in the set business days

Tcf is the biggest rip off around went in closed my and my ex wife's account because we are getting a divorce balance nothing owed told them to cancel the cards so nothing can be taken out or used and make sure no more purchases can be made signed the paper to close it and left months later they take $ out of my account because there Incompetent employees could not do there jobs and never shut it down right and charged in over draft fees that if there employees did their job right would've never happened and of the overdraft fees were on the same items more than once horrible experience rude customer service and non-trained employees

They are charging ridiculous over draft fees that do not add upI was charged fees just recently when there should have only been one
