I ordered a new exhaust system for my 1994 GMC Truck off of their website. Everything shipped instantly and was in my hands in 2 days. Rock Auto was 35% cheaper than the local car parts stores, it was my first time ordering from them and won't be my last. Thanks Rock Auto

Rock Auto did a fantastic job with my order. It was a great price for the item I purchased and it was sent and delivered very quickly. I saved almost 200 dollars on this one item.

Right part, right price, right on time delivery. Excellent!

My orders always arrive when the say they will. And their always correct. One time a part I received was damaged and all it took was one phone call they shipped a new part to me the next day.

I have received two defective parts from RockAuto. The company wants me to pay for shipping them back to them. I have filed a complaint with them. I have not yet received a response. I also have to pack up the bad parts and take them someplace to return them.

Rock Auto is fair, fast and efficient. I felt strongly enough to take the time to do this survey and give credit where it's due. I have yet to have a bad experience doing business with them. I wholeheartedly recommend them. As long as you send the correct info, you'll get the correct part.

Parts range is VAST: Once something gets broken in your vintage car (mine is 27 years old), your chance to get the appropriate replacement part at RockAuto is quite high, provided the parts are still being manufactured, of course.

But: My credit card payment was rejected 3× (and the error message didn't really give me a clue why this was the case), so I had to pay by PayPal. The user interface is slightly old-fashioned, and on some product detail pages you'll only get some adversiting text, but no detail information.

I shop here all the time. They have GREAT service and super good parts with fast shipping. I tell everyone where I get my parts.

RockAuto has provided a grate web site, from brand name companies and a grate
low price on some of the best parts that you'll need to keep your car up and running and some of the best shipping offers that work with you. I am defiantly keeping this site as my new auto store and telling people about RockAuto.

Spoke to customer service and was directed to the websight.Placed my order and will be expecting my order in 2-3 business days.Quite an easy task to perform.

Review: On January 17th, 2015 I ordered two replacement mirrors for my Audi A4 from Rock Auto. I used their search engine to find appropriate parts by putting my car information and placed my order. After receiving my order I saw that I was sent mirrors for VW Passat that has different shape than my mirrors. I went to the Manufacturing web site listed on the boxes that I received and found what I need it. I contacted Rock Auto for a refund of my $29.15 that I paid and to get a ticket to return the wrong part I was sent. Instead they told me that they will take the order back but will only return $16.40 because it was my fault that I didn't measured my mirrors. I tried to explained that what I received from them it's not for my car but for a different car and the shape (not the size) is different and it would not fit my car. They still insisted that is my fault and they will not give me my full refund. I strongly feel that I did everything correctly and it was Rock Auto error. This is why I should be giving my full refund.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my full refund back to my credit card.

This

customer purchased two mirrors that fit several Volkswagen and Audi

models. Our listings specify dimensions and shape for both mirrors

along with photos of the products so customers can match their

original mirrors against the part listings. Photos of

both mirrors show the mirrors' profiles. As our FAQ page explains

([redacted]), the part

description lists fitment details that should be checked prior to

purchase. Sometimes a single vehicle uses multiple versions of a

part, and sometimes different versions of a vehicle require different

parts.

First the customer told us the size was

wrong. When we asked the size of the original mirrors for comparison,

the customer did not answer our question so we're still not sure what

size she needs and received. However, we apologize for not properly

addressing the shape difference. Due to this oversight we have

refunded the customer for all shipping costs for the mirrors as

requested.

I ordered some parts a few days ago. Boy was I shocked when two of the parts showed up the next day by FedEx. Everything ordered was selected to ship ground, so yes, I was very pleased. I wanted to call and thank you all but your phone number is not on the fridge magnets you always send with every order. Might want to add that to your magnets, suggestion.
I also want to say I've been using RockAuto.com for a few years now. There's a good reason for that. You live up to your motto, All The Parts Your Car Will Ever Need... I have never received a wrong part or a bad part and have saved a lot of money. You all rock, no pun intended... [redacted]

Review: I purchased a fuel pump order # [redacted] for my vehicle which my mechanic charged my $130 to remove old one and replace new one. I added more gas and drove for about 5 minutes and then the fuel icon came on and then continued to fade in and out and the fuel gauge continued to go from F and E and everywhere in between.

I called RockAuto back and talked to a [redacted] ext. #[redacted] and he said he would warranty part when I sent defective pump back. I asked [redacted] that they was not satisfactory because I was going have to pay same mechanic again for this defective pump that goes inside the fuel tank. He did not offer anything else for the inconvenience of this defective part and then became very short with me when I asked to speak to some one else of higher authority. He gave me a name of a person name [redacted] ext. #[redacted] and said he would not be available till Monday. I asked for [redacted]'s last name and he said he was not obligated to give me his last name. I know RockAuto's intention is not to send out defective parts but when the part they send out is defective, they should at least compensate for labor charges and then ask maker of fuel pump to compensate them for extra charge. I am sure the vendor will work with them because I have worked in retail and worked with vendors. I am willing to email bill and charge to my credit card for proof of cost.Desired Settlement: I would like RockAuto to pay for the re-installment of another fuel pump.

Like other retailers of

branded products, RockAuto does not offer any product warranty of our

own--we honor the warranty provided by the manufacturer of the

product. As our Policies

page explains, warranties offer only replacement of the defective

part with another part: no cash refunds and no

reimbursement of labor costs, shipping costs or other

expenses. We have a 30 day return policy, so we cover shipping

charges on products that fail in this time frame and allow a return

for refund rather than the usual part-for-part replacement. Since

this customer's pump failed within 30 days of purchase, we offered a

prepaid return label to send the part back for either reshipment of

the same part or a full refund on the order. The manufacturer does

not consider labor claims, so no labor costs will be refunded. The

customer can use the return instructions we emailed him to return the

part for a full refund or contact our customer service department

before sending the part back if he prefers a reshipment.

due to a previous address, it was automatically denied when it did not match my true current address. I immediately called the customer service address, and unfortunately was connected to [redacted] he immediately said he couldn't hear me and promptly, hung up on me. [redacted] continued to haunt me as when I called back, put on hold, and then was connected it was him again. I explained what had happened, and he immediately insisted it was my fault, I said I didn't care whose fault it was, I just wanted to correct the error, and complete the order, he insisted that I had entered incorrect information, I assured him I had not, and he threatened to hang-up on me, I implored him to simply let me know what was incorrect so I could fix it. and while still blaming me for whatever was wrong, he finally told me that the address for the billing on my credit card was wrong, insisting that I had entered it incorrectly, I told him that I did not enter it incorrectly and that is was just that since I hadn't ordered since I had changed addresses that the website just assumed I had the same address, and entered it for me without me noticing it. although it was resolved, I was extremely disappointed, by [redacted] attitude and behavior to me, I have purchased many parts from R.A., and I really appreciate your previous levels of service, parts availability, and professionalism. maybe [redacted] just had a bad day, maybe he thinks I was stupid, I don't know. what I do know is that no matter how many customers you have, you can always have less, and treating people with respect, and civility, will always be a benefit, no matter how big, and powerful you are. I hope in the future interchanges will be more respectful and kind, it wouldn't hurt.

My items are always on time or early in great condition. I don't think I will be shopping for car parts anywhere but here from now on out.
