POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DISHONEST BUSINESS PRACTIICES !
So I've lived same place for 25 years ( a mobile home community ) I've put my garbage can in same place at end of my driveway in front of my car no more than 10 feet from my neighbors cans. Last Thursday they neglected to pick up my trash. They rush through here, sometimes leaving trash that fell out while dumping it in people's yards, it blows into others yards and we have to pick it up. And sometimes they don't dump our cans completely because the are rushing through here. I'm disabled, a fall risk, fell 6 times last year one of those times, breaking my leg. I called last Thursday and was told someone would be out within 48 hours to pick up since they missed it. Come Monday, yesterday, still not picked up. Called again to be told 48 business hours and someone would be out today. We'll here it is Tuesday now, still not picked up! Called for the 3rd time to be told they'll get it on Thursday, a week later, after THEIR mistake! I talked with several supervisors (what a joke) ! Only to be told they don't deviate from their routes and there is nobody to pick it up, and that they will be here on normal pick up day this Thursday to pick it up. Then they had nerve to act like they were doing me a favor saying the will take any extra trash I have this week. They weren't even hearing I can't carry heavy bag out to the can, and risking falling! They didnt hear my can is already full from last week! We can't leave bags out because cats get into it and make a mess plus against park rules. They don't care I'm disabled, They don't care about doing what they said they will do and making THEIR mistake right. I think they intended all along to not pick it up till following week. And oh, although I pay for my trash pick up, no refund for the week they screwed up! RUMPKE IS A JOKE!

What is a promise not kept? I call it a lie.
Trash was not originally picked up on our regularly scheduled p/u day which is on Thursdays. On February 2nd/3rd there was a significant amount of snow that was causing delays for pickup in our area. That part of it is totally understood.
On Rumpke’s website they publish a link to “Weather Alert”. The following is the listing of delayed services which never took place.
For the following counties, Rumpke is suspending service on Friday, February 4. Rumpke will attempt to collect your trash and recycling on your next scheduled service day, as road conditions allow.

Our trash pickup day was supposed to be on Thursday, February 3rd. Our next scheduled service day was February 10th (Still no pickup). By this time I’d called their only listed telephone number 1-800-828-8171 a second time. I was told that someone would definitely be out to pick up our trash by the end of the day on Thursday 2/10/2022 (They have until midnight). Still no pickup. I called again on Friday, 2/11/2022 and they said that it was escalated, and it would be picked up as soon as possible. Once again, on 2/14/2022 there was no pickup. I called for an update and they stated that it had been escalated and they promised to have it picked up by the end of the day. Still no pickup. I called once again 2/15/2022 and requested to speak with the president of the company. I was told that was not possible. The call center was able to eventually transfer me to the local(?) supervisor, who ended up being the local dispatcher who would only give me her first name. She stated that they would not be intimidated by my demands to pick up my trash. So it doesn’t take a genius to see where this is going. One lie after another. If someone promises me that my trash will be picked up and it is not, that is a bold-faced lie. I don’t need any more excuses. No doubt in my mind why both the BBB and revdex both have Rumpke listed with 1 star. Trash on the curb for 12 days now.

No customer service follow up.
I have been dealing with a major issue for over a year. It's such a long story. A major construction project made waste pickup a challenge beginning January 4 2021. Sooooo many phone calls, requests for supervisor to call and visit the site to understand the issue, NO waste or recycling pickup for three months after prepaying for a years worth of service. Have written proof I was credited for the entire payment backdated until January 1 2021. Services resumed end of June 2021.
Paid for 12 months of service... Used 6... Am now being billed for another year when I still have six months credit.
What does it take to get this straightened out?

No recycle pick up
If I could give a negative star review I would. We live in a new development in Beavercreek, OH, Our trash is picked up from the Cincinnati location - no problem. Our recycles are picked up from the Dayton office - or are supposed to be. We have been left with a full recycle bin more than we’ve been picked up I think. Twice I’ve watched the truck finish the street on the other side of us then turn around and leave. I am now telling everyone getting ready to move into the new houses to choose a different company because Rumpke can’t be trusted.

I want a trash pickup and refund
for services not rendered.

Rumpke has not pick up my trash since 8/28/2020. My store is in rural community with lots of wild life. I have tried to call and complain with no results. I just spoke to customer service again and they say that I have only made 1(one) complaint. This is not true I have called several times, left messages for my acct. manager and her supervisor with no response. I would like my trash picked up and a refund for a month of service that I have not received.

Service isn't too bad, drivers are great! Customer Service, at least with a certain female receptionist Does Not Exist! I can't remember her name but she is ALWAYS Very Combative on the phone, offering nothing but excuse after excuse, and should NOT be in customer service! She must be the owner's daughter or something! She wouldn't shut up long enough so I could speak, all the while giving excuses. When I ask her for a Supervisor, there is Never one available. My entire neighborhood uses Rumpke. Every Single neighbor has complained about this one person, to no avail.
Today I had a simple billing question, spoke to the nicest person ever, named Nicole. She was a Saint. She listened to my question, gave me a complete and understandable answer and was very nice to work with. Her actions ALONE made me decide to stay with Rumpke. I would pay Double the amount to Never have to speak with the combative person ever again!! Fire Her!!

I live at *** I have been dealing with a ongoing thing with Rumpke trash and recycle where they will go weeks at a time without dumping our recycle or trash sometimes even both to the point that me and my neighbors have been storing our trash and recycle in our garage.
I do not agree with the fact that we are in contract with this company who does not hold up their end of the bargain. I live in a *** they do not just skip one house they skipped the whole *** all together but yet we continue to receive bills for something that they are not doing!!! 9/1/2020 - Contacted Rumpke per contract to remove a vanity as my one free large item for the month. Item to be removed 9/3
9/3/2020 - Returned home from work to find vanity still in exactly the same position as when I left that morning. I called Rumpke and left a voicemail saying as much.
9/4/2020 - Never received call from Rumpke regarding issue, came home at 4:30 to find vanity untouched, called Rumpke. They told me they most likely have not listened to voicemail as they have too many. Either they are understaffed or having a large volume of errors. Voicemails should not take over 24 hours to respond to. They said they have now requested a pick up for the missed item.
9/8/2020 - Called Rumpke again as the vanity is still untouched. They informed me that the request for pickup didn't go into effect until 9/4 and that their standard turn around time was 48 business hours.
9/10/2020 - Today is one week since the vanity was to be picked up. As of 7:30 this morning, my regular trash was picked up and once again, the vanity was not looked at, touched, or taken.

This is the worst trash service I have ever seen. I live in *** (*** area) and the trash pickup times are extremely Inconsistent. Some weeks they will be consistent at showing up at 1pm. But today they decided to show up at 8:30am so I sprinted out of the house to try and catch them while they were at the neighbor’s across the street and as soon as they saw me come out and try to give them my trash can, they literally hit the gas and drove to my nextdoor neighbor’s. I live in a cookie cutter subdivision so it’s not like the truck went a long distance. The truck moved maybe 5 feet. I shouldn’t have to chase down the garbage man to accept my trash at a time they typically don’t pick up my trash. If you’re not going to pick up my trash, don’t send me a bill. I lived in *** and had Rumpke in that town and the Trash times were reliable and consistent. *** Rumpke is a mess and it shows also on the bad *** reviews that they truly don’t care about their customers here.

collection to occur any time between 6 a.m.- 6 p.m. on designated service days.
Therefore, it is best to place all items curbside the night before the
scheduled collection day as collection times may vary.While
Rumpke strives for consistency for our customers, many things can cause
collection time adjustments. For example, as school resumes some routes change,
run extra early or become delayed to safely accommodate school buses. Not to
mention, since the pandemic extra trash placed curbside has delayed routes. We
are hiring and training new drivers every day to help with increased loads, but
some trucks are filling faster, requiring more trips to the landfill before
collection is complete. Again, this causes delays.Our
objective is to make sure collection occurs on the day it is scheduled. While
we cannot always be specific about our exact arrival times, we can guarantee

If I could give them negative stars, I would. The only reason they are getting one is because their drivers are amazing, in my experience. IT is not the drivers' faults that their company is horrendous. I had a late payment, that was my fault, however, one day prior to my service being suspended, I paid the full balance (two billing cycles). An entire month goes by and they took my trash cans - 2 trash bins and 1 recycling bin. They never stopped picking up my trash, 4 weeks since I paid my account in full and they collected every week without fail. When I called to see why they had picked up my trash cans, they said I was suspended, but I had a $0 balance and they couldn't explain that. 3 weeks later and I still do not have my trash cans. On 7/31, I was promised I'd "definitely" have them by the 5th as that was my next collection date, then when I didn't get them that day, I would for sure have them by the 8th. I called on the 8th and "it takes 7-10 business days". So I waited 10 days and called again, it takes 10-14 business days. Of course, it does. This company knows you are contracted with your city to use them and there is nothing you can do, so they do not have to provide satisfactory customer service and they do NOT. I have been lied to for 3 weeks, getting a different story each time, to cover their own. I have been told a supervisor will call, she never does. When I ask to speak to a supervisor, I can't speak to her, she has to leave an email for her. I have been working at a very professional company for years and have NEVER not been able to let a supervisor speak to someone. They do NOT want to be bothered!! Supposedly, the trash cans are delivered by a third party courier company, they will not give me their name or their number to contact them directly. I am disgusted by this company.

I contacted billing today about erroneous charges on my invoice and had a solution within 10 minutes. The business made it right according to what I was told by their representative previously. The difference was not a lot of money, but their principles made all the difference!

Upon moving and setting up service at my new address, a Rumpke representative confirmed that the trash container at my new home was owned and I would not be paying a rental fee. Rumpke removed that can from my home in error a couple weeks later. Upon calling to get my can back, they again confirmed my can was owned and would be returned ASAP. Now two billing quarterly billing cycles later, Rumpke is trying to bill me for a rental. At least three times I've been told this would be resolved, but yet again I'm billed for a trash can rental. Now they're refusing to resolve the issue. Rumpke does not itemize bills so you have no proof of what exactly is billed, which is an unfair practice and has lead to me overpaying without my knowledge. Rumpke now states they'll either take my can or I have to pay them for something I already owned, which is theft.

I signed a contract 10 years ago for waste removal and it was an auto renewal every 3 years and until this year I never got an auto renal notice. Their prices are about 50% higher than that of a competitor. They refuse to lower their prices or let me out of their contract after I sent them a certified letter explaining I wanted to cancel my contract. I own a restaurant and I am doing everything I can to remain in business and this has a detrimental effect on my business. All I want them to do is cancel my contract after I sent them a letter.

We contacted Rumpke last week to inform them that there will be extra trash at our residence to pick up this week. The customer service rep stated it would be no problem to pick up the trash and this was the proper procedure. We have contacted them in the past to pick up the same amount of trash requested without issue.

Unfortunately trash day comes and most of the trash is still remaining at the end of our shared driveway. There are TWO residence at this location for trash pickup however the agent picking up the trash seems to always think there is only one. The addresses are clearly marked with TWO addresses.

We contacted Rumpke after finding out this error on the day of trash pickup. Rumpke stated that someone would be by within 48 hours to pick up the remaining trash. It has now been over 3 days and no pickup. We contacted them again and Rumpke stated that they will now not be picking up the trash? So now my trash is sitting at the end of the shared driveway for everyone to look at until next trash day. We live in the country so animals have already gotten into the trash. The pick up location is about 1/4 mile from our actual house so removing the trash and relocating it back to our residence is not a simple task.

We are looking for alternatives but it appears no one else services this area yet. We are going to contact Warren County as well as our local township regarding this matter as well.

December 16, 2015 for standard Rumpke service, which includes the weekly
collection of up to six 35-gallon cans/bags of trash. On August 10, 2020, Dorie
*** contacted Rumpke’s customer service department to schedule collection of
10 additional bags of trash. When our employee arrived on August 12 to service
the *** house, he reported upwards of 40 bags at the curb. The driver
collected approximately 20 bags from *** residence, as well as trash placed
at the curb from his neighbors’ house. Unfortunately, our driver failed to
notify the customer service team that not all the bags were collected on August
12, so we could notify the customer.Following communication
from Mr. on August 13 and the Revdex.com on August 14, on August 15, we sent a
team member to Mr.’s residence to collect the remaining trash, nine 50
gallon trash containers with multiple bags each and four additional bags of trash, that our driver
documented with pictures prior to collection, so we can appropriately charge
for the additional waste. We appreciate the
opportunity to service the *** household, and his loyalty. We apologize for
the failed communication between our team that delayed the timely collection of
the material. We hope that with the collection of the additional trash this

The business has failed to pick up brown lawn recycle bags on trash pick up day. My trash service was Thursday, August 6th, 2020. Bags were not damaged or leaking. I was told to email pictures of the bags, then called back on Friday August 7th, 2020 claiming they would be picked up by the end of that day. That did not happen, and no indicating why it didnt happen. I was also supposed to be getting a call back from Juanita (LNU), and that has not happened. They are still here, and I cant get straight answers OR follow through that something will happen when I’m told it will!

I have called Rumpke over two weeks 5 times and emailed four times. Work is being done on our street, but our street can be accessed from ***. Our garbage continues to not be picked up -causing a health concern for those working near it and for our family. We are still being charged for weekly pickup. When I call I am told a supervisor and dispatch are notified, but nothing happens unless I continue to call 5 times. This is ridiculous. This work is going to continue on the street. The business needs to adapt when charging customers.

terrible company to deal with, no support and terrible customer service, stay away and find another company

Account # ***. I was receiving waste removal service from Rumpke and called to cancel at the end of April 2020. Because of low personal at the company I did not talk to anyone, I was directed to use their website to cancel which I did stating I would like to cancel my service the end of April. A new billing cycle starts May 1 which I had a new company at that time. I no longer use Rumpke service starting May 1. A month later I receive another bill for past due on the new billing cycle. I called, got an answer this time, and said I had canceled service last month via their website. They stated they did not receive my cancelation notice and would cancel as of that date, end of May. Which I know they did receive my request because I received a voicemail a few days later from the company in regards to the request I made to cancel. . I did not return the call. I have now a past due notice for one month of service. ($25.24)

I have had trash service through Rumpke for over a year..
I have constantly had to keep calling them over n over because
They keep forgetting my trash. I have had to call once or twice every month or month n a half to remind them I am paying for services they are
not providing. I have not been late paying them. But they continue to forget my trash on a regular basis

issues she has experienced. This is certainly not Rumpke’s standard of service
and we have taken steps to prevent this problem in the future.We
have reviewed Ms.’s complaint with our operations team, and they have
discussed the issue with the driver. We are confident we have resolved the
issue.We
are also pleased to share Ms.’s trash was collected after the missed
service on July 10, 2020 and she received timely trash service on Thursday, July
16, 2020. We spoke to her over the phone and she has approved this resolution

Rumke picked up my trash and failed to dump half the cans, I spoke with someone in the following day assuring me it would be picked up in 24-48 hours, here we are 4 days later the supervisor I spoke with today said she took care of it they would be back to get garbage, it's still sitting in my drive as I write this.
